A town crier calls, "The folk of Icemule Trace are invited to join the Town Council for an open hearing in the Council Chambers, presently."

[Icemule Trace, Town Center]

The center of the slumbering frontier town is overseen by the broken ice statue of a mule, which rises from the surrounding snow on a plinth of cold dark stone. The stars' brilliance winks through the ice, casting prismatic glints of light over a scattering of halflings. Some chatter quietly by a colorful silver-bound barrel emblazoned with a row of tiny grey penguins, while others stargaze on colorful cloaks spread out across the hard ground. Near the comfort of a smooth dark stone bench, a roaring bonfire crackles merrily, lending its warmth and illumination to the surroundings. You also see the Tabubu disk, a vine-carved cherrywood cart with some stuff on it, the Svardin disk, the Plonkus disk, a pale-faced coppery barn owl, a massive snowy white tiger, a blue and white pavilion and a blued steel wastebin. Also here: Seesall, Falvicar, Lurrah, Dragoon Dayzed who is riding a hardy dun moose, Lord Randsford, Tabubu, High Lord Svardin who is sitting, Plonkus, Bakarus, Magister Raelee, Roelon Obvious paths: north, east, south, west

[Clovertooth, Council Chambers]

Lit by a quartet of heavy silver candelabras, the chambers are a spacious, windowless stone den with lush tapestries hanging from the walls. The hangings muffle echoes in the chamber to a muted whisper. Spaced around a paneled hoarbeam table are a number of patterned leather chairs, each well-maintained. The sole means of egress from the chamber appears to be a pair of Ossian pine doors, each marked with a rampant mule in silver. You also see a massive snowy white tiger and a gangly black and tan dobrem. Also here: Magister Raelee, Roelon, Rammael who is sitting Obvious exits: none

Gespry offers Rammael an oversized cup of white chocolate mocha.

Bakarus's group just came through a pair of Ossian pine doors.

Randsford nods to Rammael in greeting.

Rammael accepts Gespry's white chocolate mocha.

Rammael exclaims, "Ah, thank you!"

Tabubu nods to Perigourd in greeting.

Defender of Mist Harbor Teaberry just came through a pair of Ossian pine doors.

Missoni nods to Tabubu in greeting.

Missoni smiles.

Rammael smiles pleasantly.

Bakarus smiles at Rammael.

Falvicar leans on you, resting his hand upon your shoulder.

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "Good evening."

Falvicar offers you a lemon-coated spicy lamb kabob. Click ACCEPT to accept the offer or DECLINE to decline it. The offer will expire in 30

You accept Falvicar's offer and are now holding a lemon-coated spicy lamb kabob.

Gespry melodically says, "The mayors confernece room has snacks."

You beam happily at Falvicar!

Falvicar removes a lemon-coated spicy lamb kabob from in his night-hued silk cape.

You quietly say, "Thank you darling."

The sole means of egress from the chamber appears to be a pair of Ossian pine doors, each marked with a rampant mule in silver. You also see a broom hare, the Tabubu disk, the web-draped Missoni disk, a stocky snow white puppy with oversized black-tipped paws, a lazy wild ash grey dog, a massive snowy white tiger and a gangly black and tan dobrem. Also here: Lurrah, Seesall, Defender of Mist Harbor Teaberry, Tabubu, Bakarus, Perigourd, Missoni, Lord Randsford, Merrymaker Gespry, Dragoon Dayzed who is sitting, Falvicar, Magister Raelee, Roelon, Rammael who is sitting Obvious exits: none

Falvicar leans over and whispers, "I couldn't find the strawberries but i got us food and drink."

Falvicar kisses you, letting his lips linger softly.

Gespry takes a drink from his white chocolate mocha.

You settle yourself comfortably in one of the leather chairs.

Rammael says, "I am afraid that we have a difficult evening ahead."

Falvicar sits down next to you.

Roelon slowly empties his lungs.

Perigourd cocks his head at Rammael.

Bakarus glances at Rammael.

Missoni nods slowly.

Svardin squints.

Tabubu takes a moment to observe Rammael.

You lean against a paneled hoarbeam table.

Svardin dusts Tabubu off.

Svardin blinks.

Svardin giggles.

You take a bite of your spicy lamb kabob. Your mouth burns with spicy heat. You have 4 bites left.

Bakarus whispers, "Looks delicious."

Tabubu leans back.

You quietly whisper to Falvicar, "Omg I forgot how spicy these are."

You giggle.

Your mouth and throat return to normal. How about some more spicy food!

Gespry ponders.

You offer your spicy lamb kabob to Bakarus, who has 30 seconds to accept the offer. Click CANCEL to prematurely cancel the offer.

Lurrah settles herself comfortably in one of the leather chairs.

Rammael glances at the doors.

Gespry asks, speaking melodically to Rammael, "Define difficult?"

Bakarus has declined the offer.

You take a bite of your spicy lamb kabob. The piquant lemony zing gives depth to the other seasonings. Your mouth burns with spicy heat. You have 3 bites left.

Rammael says, speaking to Gespry, "Well, first it might be best to call matters to order."

Bakarus whispers, "Thank you but I just ate."

Bakarus nods to you.

Rammael says, "I shall read the roles of the Councillors."

Gespry turns an inquisitive ear toward Rammael.

Rammael says, "When I call your name, please state that you are present."

Tabubu tilts her head back.

Zeminar nods at Bakarus.

Rammael says, "Councillor Opalina Jalcon."

You quietly say, "Present."

Rammael says, "Councillor Roelon McColend."

Roelon playfully flips the folds of his black woolen kilt.

Roelon deeply says, "Aye ah am present."

Falvicar whispers, "Mrs. Jalcon."

Rammael says, "Councillor Gespry Kastellion Faendryl."

Seesall snickers.

Falvicar smiles quietly to himself.

Gespry melodically says, "Present."

Rammael says, "Councillor Kobane Tiravellian Faendryl."

Gespry melodically says, "Good luck with that one."

Sorlu winks at Lurrah.

Rammael glances around hesitantly.
Rammael says, "Mm."

You sigh.

Cryheart says, "Good evening all."

Rammael says, "Nonetheless, it appears that we have a quorum, and the matter at hand may proceed."

Cryheart gives you a friendly hug.

Cryheart nods at Bakarus.

Raelee nods faintly at Cryheart.

The sound of the wind whistling comes from outside.

You cough.

Svardin says, "Moof."

Tabubu turns an inquisitive ear toward Rammael.

You quietly ask, "What about Bakarus?"

Bakarus glances at Rammael.

You peer quizzically at Rammael.

Bakarus says, "Indeed."

Rammael says, speaking to you, "Unfortunately, as there is a pending legal matter before the Council..."

Gespry nods understandingly at Rammael.

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "I shall serve as a tiebreaker then."

Rammael says, "...Councillor Bakarus's conflict of interest forbids him from voting rights in this issue."

Roelon raises an eyebrow.

Lurrah appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Rammael glances at Bakarus.

Seesall's face turns slightly pale.

Perigourd nods knowingly.

Svardin says, "Still."

Falvicar ponders.

Teaberry nods.

Gespry melodically says, "Conflict of intrest."

Roelon nods at Gespry.

Svardin says, "One should call his name in da role."

Svardin chuckles.

The voice of Jiarine says, "Mob rules in case of a tie? I like that idea."

Bakarus agrees with Svardin.

Tabubu glances over her shoulder.

Cryheart folds his hands behind his back.

Teaberry says, "He can be recorded as Present but Not Voting."

Randsford leans back.

Svardin says, "Rufus' Rules of Order."

Roelon nods.

Lacing her fingers together, Tabubu's body stiffens as she listens quietly.

Seesall glances up.

Seesall ducks her head.

Rammael says, "The matter at hand is the alleged treasonous activity of Councillor Bakarus Klysus. This investigation was forwarded to the Town Council by Mayor Talliver Dabbings, who stands as the accuser."

Seesall blinks.

Sorlu nods at Lurrah.

Rammael asks, "Are there any objections to opening discussion on this issue?"

Svardin asks, speaking to Bakarus, "Did ya do it?"

Svardin grins.

Randsford asks, speaking to Rammael, "Ane the accuser?"

Randsford says, "I do not see the Mayor present."

Bakarus says, speaking to Svardin, "Of course not."

Roelon glances at a pair of Ossian pine doors.

An officer of the Rogue Guild arrives and glances around. "Ah, there you are, Rammael!" he says in a slightly agitated tone. "I have come to formally declare that your membership privileges have been revoked." He then makes a note on his parchment and leaves.

Perigourd smirks at Bakarus.

Missoni smiles.

You hear a sudden snort of laughter.

Gespry laughs!

Roelon blinks.

Seesall giggles.

Sorlu appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Rammael slowly empties his lungs.

Svardin laughs!

You giggle.

Neovik laughs at himself!

Zeminar chortles snottily.

Randsford gazes heavenward.

Tabubu starts chortling.

Teaberry appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Svardin says, "Good timin."

Falvicar chuckles to himself.

Cryheart shakes his head.

Gespry melodically says, "Now, we can get down to brass tacks."

Roelon grins at Gespry.

Rammael calls after the guild member, "I was never a member!"

Bakarus glances around the room.

Rammael slowly empties his lungs.

Sorlu grins at Rammael.

Rammael says, "Nonetheless."

Tabubu's eyes crinkle slightly at the edges.

The voice of Jiarine asks, "Another case of mistaken identity?"

Raelee shakes her head.

Gespry melodically says, "Talliver got booted from the warriors guild, when running for mayor. the guild has good timing."

Dayzed mutters rogues.

Roelon grins slowly.

Sorlu grins at Dayzed.

Gespry melodically says, "Its par for the course for public office."

Rammael says, "Mayor Dabbings has elected not to be present, for fear that his presence might disrupt proceedings."

Dayzed nods at Gespry.

Bakarus frowns.

Sorlu nods at Rammael.

Gespry says, speaking melodically to Rammael, "Its official now, yer good."

The voice of Jiarine asks, "Do you have proof of that?"

Rammael says, "Should this issue proceed to a court trial, Mayor Dabbings will need to be present."

Falvicar whispers, "See.. brought enough to share with everybody."

Falvicar grins at you.

Sorlu rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Gespry nods understandingly at Falvicar.

Randsford nods in agreement at Rammael.

Lurrah offers, "I think it's pretty clear the mayor cannot control his ire of the accused."

You quietly say, "It was my understanding there was a possiblity of beingpossessed by an outside force."

Tabubu quietly says, "We can go with that."

Rammael says, "Typically, a matter like this would begin by hearing arguments from the sitting Councillors, followed by townsfolk."

Perigourd says, speaking to you, "Highly doubtful."

Bakarus says, speaking to you, "We all witnessed it...several times."

Rammael says, "But it is up to the Council to determine how they would like to proceed."

Teaberry asks, "Should I excuse myself, given that there may be a future trial?"

Dayzed laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement.

Teaberry says, "I think I should but this is up to the Councillors."

You quietly say, "I was there I saw the difference in personalities."

Sorlu says, speaking to you, "You should ask him to go into greater detail, so that we can get to the bottom of it. Things like this are not unheard of."

Rammael says, speaking to Teaberry, "I do not believe that would be necessary."

Gespry says, speaking melodically to Rammael, "We have earlier, chosen Teaberry to act as an impartial judge, if need be."

Zeminar shifts his weight.

Rammael nods at Gespry.

Roelon nods at Gespry.

Bakarus folds his hands behind his back.

Jiarine suddenly fades into view.

Jiarine asks, speaking to you, "Have you never heard of faking it?"

Tabubu lightly drums her fingers on her leg.

Jiarine examines her fingernails.

Rammael says, "Of course. Miss Teaberry's bonafides need no reintroduction."

Gespry nods understandingly at Rammael.

Aenternoll sits down.

Seesall whispers, "Lets kill her."

You say, speaking quietly to Sorlu, "What about your details."

Tabubu tilts her head in Aenternoll's general direction, the folds of her hood obscuring her expression from view.

You giggle at Seesall.

Gespry steeples his fingers in his lap, quietly observing his surroundings.

Seesall whistles tunelessly to herself.

Roelon asks, speaking deeply to you, "Aye, this could be one explanation. Or it could be just ones true self apearin' beneath falsehood. Which is truth?"

Sorlu says, speaking to you, "Not my detail, his....so that we might learn about whatever foul enchantment it was he may have been under."

Sorlu nods to you.

Rammael says, "Councillors, citizenry, the accusation against Bakarus is as follows:"

Gespry turns an inquisitive ear toward Rammael.

Svardin raises his hand.

Bakarus turns an inquisitive ear toward Rammael.

Falvicar tilts his head toward Rammael, examining him intently as the tip of one ear twitches briefly.

You slowly and deliberately empty your filled lungs.

Zeminar turns an inquisitive ear toward Rammael.

Roelon nods at Rammael.

You listen carefully to Rammael.

Lacing her fingers together, Tabubu's body stiffens as she listens quietly.

Aenternoll yawns.

Rammael says, "That he knowingly engaged in collusion with the undead monstrosity Zeban for some months."

Sorlu grins at Lurrah.

Jiarine says, "I do hope that you have a paid scribe to take accurate notes of these proceedings."

Lurrah scoffs.

Rammael says, "That, as supported by physical evidence, he engaged in willing communication with Zeban."

Jiarine lightly says, "So many things have gone missing from here."

Seesall says, "So the B is...."

Bakarus yawns.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Seesall, "Always was."

Svardin raises his hand.

Aenternoll gives a sidelong glance at Zeminar.

Sorlu nods at Lurrah.

Aenternoll nods once.

Bakarus says, "There was a D note found as well."

Bakarus says, "For the record."

Bakarus smiles at Dayzed.

Svardin asks, "Point of order?"

Rammael says, "That he engaged in acts of sabotage against the town of Icemule Trace, including planning and participating in the destruction of several pieces of property, including the Old Mill."
Rammael says, speaking to Svardin, "Your point of order is recognized."

Svardin asks, "May I ask on what legal authority does the council have to investigate criminal matters?"

Perigourd scratches at his beard.

Sorlu acts puzzled.

You get the feeling that the Town Council is meeting in their chambers on the second story of Clovertooth Hall to discuss important matters!

Seesall says, "Valid question."

Dayzed gazes heavenward.

Gespry nods understandingly at Dayzed.

Svardin says, "It is either a judicial or prosecutorial area."

Dayzed deeply asks, "The Mayor authorized this, did he not?"

Svardin says, "Not administrative."

Roelon nods at Dayzed.

Dayzed deeply says, "So that settles that."

Sorlu says, "The law works special, here in the north."

Sorlu nods at Svardin.

Seesall scoffs.

Bakarus says, speaking to Sorlu, "More special than I realized."

Svardin says, "I's been here longer dan anyone."

Bakarus blinks.

Svardin says, "I don't recall dat bein da case."

Zeminar joins Bakarus's group.

Rammael says, speaking to Svardin, "Master Dayzed has a point."

You ponder.

Rimo kneels down.

You also see the Neovik disk, the skull-shaped Zeminar disk, a stocky snow white puppy with oversized black-tipped paws, the Tabubu disk, the web-draped Missoni disk, a lazy wild ash grey dog and a massive snowy white tiger. Also here: Rimo who is kneeling, Aenternoll who is sitting, Neovik, Sir Cryheart, Perigourd, Lord Sorlu, Zeminar, High Lord Svardin, Lurrah who is sitting, Seesall, Defender of Mist Harbor Teaberry, Tabubu who is sitting, Bakarus, Missoni, Lord Randsford, Merrymaker Gespry who is sitting, Dragoon Dayzed who is sitting, Falvicar who is sitting, Magister Raelee, Roelon, Jiarine, Rammael who is sitting Obvious exits: none

Rammael says, "But more than that, this is a matter that extended beyond the jurisdiction of local law."

You ask, speaking quietly to Rammael, "Is there more?"

Svardin says, "Point of order."

Sorlu frowns at Lurrah.

Rammael says, "The foremost crime for which Bakarus stands accused is willing murder and high--"
Rammael glances at Svardin.

Bakarus whispers, "What ...Old Mill is he talking about? That I apparently destroyed?"

Rammael asks, "Yes?"

Bakarus glances at Rammael.

Svardin asks, "Would not the council then have to enact a procedure subject to review before proceeding?"

Sorlu raises an eyebrow in Lurrah's direction.

Roelon joins Gespry's group.

Sorlu chuckles.

Lurrah winks at Sorlu.

You quietly whisper to Bakarus, "The old mil in far bottom corner of the town it was destoryed around the same time as the mule."

Dayzed stares at Svardin.

Rammael stares at Svardin.
Rammael says, "...no."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Svardin, "Do shut up."

Svardin says, "Pfft."

Seesall blinks at Dayzed.

Zeminar squints.

Tabubu reaches out and holds Aenternoll's hand.

Sorlu begins chuckling at Dayzed!

Bakarus whispers, "Im pretty sure I did not destroy anything of the sort. This all seems a bit...of mob justice."

Rammael says, "Willing murder and high crimes."

You say, speaking quietly to Dayzed, "Don't be rude."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to you, "Do your job."

You quietly say, "Svardin can speak just like anyone else."

Jiarine asks, speaking to Bakarus, "Who did you murder?"

Bakarus asks, "High crimes?"

Perigourd surreptitiously glances at Sorlu.

Svardin asks, "Dat lunatic is loose agin?"

Bakarus says, speaking to Jiarine, "I have no idea."

Sorlu picks idly at a slender Nalfein-styled cane.

Roelon rubs his chin thoughtfully.

You quietly say, "He murdered Sorlu."

Lurrah frowns.

Bakarus says, speaking to Jiarine, "Nor that there was a mill I destroyed."

Bakarus shrugs at Jiarine.

Jiarine approves, speaking to Bakarus, "Good. Never leave a paper trail."

Sorlu offhandedly agrees, "Technically."

Rammael says, speaking to Bakarus, "Icemule Trace's legal code has... broad latitude when it comes to enacting the will of liches and evil gods, as you might imagine."
Rammael says, "Those statutes are all covered under 'high crimes'."

Svardin chuckles.

You quietly say, "However, that could have totally be caused by Lich control."

Dayzed rolls his eyes.

Perigourd shakes his head.

Zeminar says, speaking darkly to Rammael, "Sounds like a bit of a gray area, but I understand."

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "I see this mob of a court can make up...whatever it wishes. Lets proceed."

Lurrah asks, speaking to you, "Why don't you just cast your innocent vote now and save us the time?"

Jiarine asks, "This trial is already a sham. Creating new rules to fit the 'crimes' now?"

Seesall nods.

Falvicar shrugs.

Svardin nods at Jiarine.

Dayzed deeply says, "This is fine."

Bakarus sighs.

Rammael says, speaking to Jiarine, "Your interpretation is incorrect."

Jiarine rolls her eyes at Rammael.

Gespry melodically says, "Usually is."

Dayzed nods at Gespry.

Jiarine says, "So YOU say."

Roelon grins at Gespry.

Perigourd casually observes his surroundings.

Rammael says, "Consorting with liches and enacting the will of dark gods are both listed in the code, specifically."

Lurrah says, speaking to you, "I don't mean it rudely, but you've basically brought up his defense at least three times."

Perigourd says, speaking to Rammael, "I imagine after Thurfel, that would be required."

Rammael says, speaking quietly to Jiarine, "My understanding is that the town has dealt with this sort of thing before."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Lurrah, "It's truly disconcerting."

Jiarine says, "You are also being paid to run this trial which means that you should be under more scrutiny then I."

Rammael nods at Perigourd.

Lurrah says, "If this is a done deal let us say so."

You smile at Lurrah.

Lurrah shrugs.

Rammael says, "The Councillors may make their statements."

Jiarine takes a slow, deep breath then pinches the bridge of her nose.

Bakarus inclines his ear, listening intently.

Gespry ponders.

Svardin whispers, "Suggest the absence of a quorum. Giggle."

Perigourd raises an eyebrow.

Bakarus says, "Well then."

Rammael clears his throat.

Rimo scratches his ear.

Bakarus asks, "Are we done?"

Jiarine mouths, "Everyone at once then."

You quietly say, "I would like to say something."

Rammael nods to you.

Roelon rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Dayzed rolls his eyes.

Tabubu turns to face you.

Sorlu glances appraisingly around the room.

Svardin grins.

Sorlu raises an eyebrow.

Gespry melodically says, "This thinking things are decided either way before the facts and evidence has been presented by various parties is not needed. so I just have one question, that basically will determine my own decision. Was Bakarus a willing or unwilling participant of these crimes. and how can we prove that."

You quietly say, "I have not witnessed Bakarus act in a negative fashion toward the town or it's residence."

You quietly say, "Ohh go ahead Gespry sorry."

Perigourd chuckles to himself.

Gespry melodically says, "I'm done."

Perigourd shakes his head.

Svardin grins.

Rammael glances at Roelon.

Dayzed laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement.

Jiarine says, "The lich is dead. There is no way to prove or disprove it. Depending who has the smoother tongue will win this injustice."

Seesall says, "Innocent until proven otherwise."

You quietly say, "During the last invasion Bakarus was side by side most of us saving and fighting against the evils attacking the town."

Svardin whispers, "And who can know what is in the mind of another. Can you prove intent?"

Teaberry asks, speaking to Jiarine, "How would you prove if Zeban was NOT dead?"

You quietly say, "He was trying to share things that happened with him and visison he was seeing about a trap in Hinter wilds."

Dayzed makes a shushing sound!

Roelon deeply asks, "This is the question indeed. Can this be proven? And how?"

Jiarine says, "I am doubtful about that."

Jiarine makes a flicking motion with her hand.

Gespry nods at Roelon.

Bakarus says, speaking to Jiarine, "We have an absence of a court of competent jurisdiction. It will become finger pointing wins."

Bakarus shrugs at Jiarine.

Neovik folds his arms over his chest.

Rammael says, "I would remind everyone that this is not a trial. What is to be decided is whether or not this investigation should proceed."

You quietly say, "He changed his , behavior when Zeban addressed him personally and called him a Fool..."

Falvicar leans over and whispers, "If I may Darling... remember what I have told you about me hunting liches in the Rift and what they drop?"

Bakarus says, "This time seems better spent serving Icemule."

You quietly exclaim, "That to me felt like a complete take over!"

Jiarine asks, "Is that not a pre-trial?"

Dayzed rolls his eyes.

Jiarine asks, "Apples to oranges?"

Sorlu asks, "Does the Council have enough information to make that decision now?"

Sorlu raises an eyebrow.

You quietly say, "'However i can't prove that anymore than anyone else."

Falvicar leans over and whispers, "If you don't destroy the phylactary the liches in the Rift don't truly die. It's safe to assume Zeban has one."

Rammael says, speaking to Sorlu, "It is possible."

Bakarus says, "I don't think anyone knows quite...what this is."

Svardin whispers, "Without the accuser, how can anyone make a decision about proceeding?"

Rammael says, "However, I should note that there is at least one eye-witness who claims to have seen Bakarus consorting with an unseen and serpentine entity while in a remote part of the Tavern Burrow."

Jiarine says, speaking to Bakarus, "The answer is simple enough that they want to place the blame on anyone."

Randsford raises an eyebrow in Rammael's direction.

Bakarus blinks.

Rammael says, "The alleged witness's name is, of course, protected."

Svardin asks, "Were dey drunk?"

Roelon nods at Rammael.

Sorlu raises an eyebrow.

You quietly say, "But Bakarus did kill Sorlu and later behaved oddly to the town mayor which was not his normal demor."

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "Oh, of course."

Roelon deeply says, "Of course."

Bakarus shakes his head.

Roelon deeply says, "As it should be."

Lurrah asks, speaking to Rammael, "Is murder truly the only charge we are bringing to light?"

Zeminar darkly says, "So, hearsay then."

Dayzed deeply says, "Murder, high crimes, collusion with the enemy."

The dim aura fades from around Neovik.

Dayzed deeply asks, "Are you not listening?"

You quietly say, "Then when he went to my wedding he was a gentlemen and when folks were trying to say he was poision my guest it was a complete set up."

Teaberry asks, "Will the eyewitness appear at the hearing to determine whether or not there is enough evidence for the trial?"

Perigourd says, "He wasn't under any liches control. He was playing for time by telling defenders not to shatter exactly what we needed to shatter in order for the disir to finish of Zeban."

Bakarus says, "I too saw a shadowy person talking to a shadowy person in an ally. Don't tell anyone."

Sorlu gazes in amusement at you.

Perigourd says, "And then when Zeban outed him as a servant of his, he murdered Sorlu."

Perigourd says, "This allowed Zeban to recover the tablet."

Lurrah says, "I am listening. I hear people only addressing the murder charge."

You quietly say, "So those are my thoughts on it.. Please prove He wasn't being controlled by the lich."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Rammael, "Methinks you need to get this meeting under control and ask the council to vote to proceed with the investigation or not."

Rammael says, speaking to Teaberry, "He can be compelled to do so, or to at least submit a statement in writing."

Perigourd says, "If not for Anhilde and the disir, Icemule would be in ruins."

You quietly say, "And I will stand with you."

Svardin asks, "War is deception. How exactly can you know what was the intent of any action during a war unless you are the person?"

Teaberry nods at Rammael.

Sorlu agrees with Perigourd.

Roelon says, speaking deeply to you, "To seek proof would mean to bring this to trial."

You lean against some patterned leather chairs.

Roelon deeply says, "Which is what we are here to decide upon."

Dayzed nods at Roelon.

Gespry nods at Roelon.

Dayzed deeply says, "So let's get y'all to voting."

Dayzed deeply says, "This should be easy."

Seesall says, "I must exit before the kangaroos arrive."

Roelon deeply says, "We are nae inflictin' any guilty charges ourselves."

Roelon nods to you.

Svardin chuckles.

Dayzed deeply says, "This is not a trial, again."

Dayzed chuckles.

You quietly say, "Well I say he's innocent. so if you want a trial You will have to prove he's not innocent."

Rammael says, speaking to Dayzed, "If I may, hearing from the townsfolk is an important part of the decision-making process."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Rammael, "They aren't even listening to YOU."

Dayzed chuckles.

Lurrah whispers something to Sorlu.

Gespry nods in agreement at Dayzed.

Jiarine asks, speaking to Dayzed, "Imagine that?"

Sorlu looks thoughtfully at Lurrah.

Falvicar says, speaking quietly to Dayzed, "Mayhaps if you weren't being rude, they may listen more."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Falvicar, "Take a hike."

Rammael says, speaking to you, "I would remind you that the only way to gather such evidence is to vote for a trial to occur."

Randsford gazes heavenward.

Falvicar says, speaking quietly to Dayzed, "Try to make me."

Tabubu shifts her weight.

Tabubu tilts her head back.

Dayzed winks at Falvicar.

Lurrah whispers something to Sorlu.

Falvicar seems to be waiting for something.

Randsford asks, "Where is the baliff to keep people in check?"

Randsford gazes in wonder at his surroundings.

Falvicar nods firmly.

Jiarine says, speaking to Dayzed, "Oh stop it before you take my role as the local pain in the ass."

Jiarine snickers to herself.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to you, "Nice work already committing your vote before any evidence is presented, though."

Teaberry appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Dayzed deeply says, "Very wise."

Svardin asks, "Without hearing from the accuser directly, how can anyone vote for or against the proposition to investigate?"

Svardin says, "Close the hearing."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Svardin, "It's not a trial."

Svardin says, "Get the accuser."

Rammael says, speaking to Svardin, "Mayor Dabbings's charges are quite clear, irrespective of his presence."

Svardin says, "By innuendo anyone can be accused."

Geijon shifts his weight.

Gespry nods at Rammael.

Sorlu smiles at Lurrah.

Lurrah sits there stubbornly, folding her arms over her chest.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Svardin, "The Mayor is kind-of a big deal."

Lurrah slowly empties her lungs.

Lurrah glances at Sorlu and pouts.

Erienne sits down.

Erienne folds her arms over her chest.

Jiarine just arrived. Wait, wasn't she here already?

Roelon bows to Erienne.

Rammael asks, "Are there other comments from the townsfolk of Icemule Trace?"

Erienne smiles at Roelon.

Svardin says, "Seems to me he was on a slate of hand picked candidates by someone so I don't put much stock in it. Open elections might be in order."

Svardin waves.

High Lord Svardin just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors.

Sorlu leans softly against Lurrah.

Dayzed mutters idiots.

Tabubu glances at a pair of Ossian pine doors.

You quietly whisper to Falvicar, "Hum. wonder if Zeban has one where is it."

Randsford says, "If I may, I waited till this meeting to reveal what I witnessed during the events."

Lurrah says, speaking to Rammael, "I think a more important question would be whether or not there was a conspiract in the works before the night of the murder."

Randsford nods.

Dayzed gazes heavenward.

Jiarine asks, "Are you suddently regulating comments to those who have signed their name into the citizenship book?"

Rammael turns an inquisitive ear toward Randsford.

Randsford says, "During the start of our journey, Bakarus revealed to me his vision of the threat. As events progressed and Bakarus' demeanor changed he began to speak to me in a low whisper as he attempted to resist Zeban's control."

Rammael says, speaking to Jiarine, "No. If I had said 'citizens' that might be a reasonable conclusion."

Randsford says, "It is at this time I realized he was being possessed and urged everyone to stop the assault. The coincidence of the visions and Zeban's lackluster forces made me think we were perhaps doing exactly what the Lich wanted."

Dayzed deeply says, "This is not trial."

Sorlu rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Gespry melodically says, "If left to the mayor, Bakarus is guilty and will be re-banned. Having a trial, with investigative evidence, and would be the only way to determine guild or innocence."

Falvicar quietly says, "Yes. There should be evidence to prove the charges. I don't know yet whether he is innocent or truly guilty but I would like to think anybody being charged with crimes should be able to defend themselves in the eyes of the law."

Randsford says, "After the attack, Bakarus and I spoke again and his demeanor seemed to shift radically which leads me to beleive Zeban's influence is not gone and that his presence may still be among us."

Gespry says, speaking melodically to Rammael, "I vote for a trial."

Dayzed nods at Gespry.

Rammael says, "One and one, it appears."

You agree with Randsford.

Dayzed asks, speaking deeply to you, "You're truly voting for no trial at all?"

Hiea whispers, "Did i need to sign a book?"

Lurrah raises an eyebrow in Randsford's direction.

Rammael says, speaking to Randsford, "Thank you for your statement."

Randsford nods at Rammael.

Rammael looks tempted to say more, but stills himself.

You quietly whisper to Hiea, "Sign a book for what dear?" Tabubu seems to be waiting for something.

Rammael glances at Roelon.
Rammael says, speaking to Roelon, "It seems that the other Councillors have made their choices known."

[Focused] Svardin thinks, "I was pointing out that we were excluded from being able to nominate candidates for mayor so Talliver is illegitimate in the first place."

Hiea whispers, "I just saw signed their name into the citizenship book."

Roelon rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Jiarine says, speaking amusedly to Bakarus, "If you were female such a change in character would not result in us being here."

Raelee surreptitiously glances around the room.

Bakarus chuckles.

You say, speaking quietly to Dayzed, "Thank you for your added imput. It goes really well with helping me make decisions."

Roelon deeply says, "Truth. This is the only way to stop this so our town can heal from this madness. If left alone, the fire would only grow."

Jiarine says, speaking to Roelon, "Not without ample fuel."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to you, "You've revealed your character quite effectively."

Roelon deeply says, "So if ye seek truth, we need to do this invetigation."

Rammael nods.

Randsford nods in agreement at Roelon.

Perigourd nods.

Dayzed nods at Roelon.

Jiarine asks, speaking to Dayzed, "Do you remember when I asked her if she would be strong enough to make hard choices if elected?"

Bakarus says, "More of this to look forward to."

Rammael asks, "I have two votes for and one against. Do any of the three Councillors voting disagree with this count?"

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Jiarine, "I should have paid heed."

Bakarus shakes his head.

Gespry melodically says, "That seems to be my count as well."

Rammael nods.

Roelon nods once.

Jiarine scoffs, speaking to Dayzed, "No one ever listens."

Falvicar says, speaking quietly to Dayzed, "As have you. You should remember she's a counclor and you aren't. It's her vote in the end to do as she sees fit whether you like it or not."

Erienne examines her fingernails.

Gespry melodically says, "I concur."

Roelon adopts an agreeable expression.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Falvicar, "I was a far more effective councilor than she, of this there is no doubt."

Dayzed asks, speaking deeply to Falvicar, "And who are you anyways?"

Dayzed chuckles.

Falvicar says, speaking quietly to Dayzed, "Was in the key word there."

Dayzed waves a hand at Falvicar, dismissing him indifferently.

Falvicar rolls his eyes at Dayzed.

Sorlu gazes in amusement at his surroundings.

Roelon deeply says, "Ah am nae one for such things. But if we don' do this. We would bring more harm upon us."

Missoni slowly empties her lungs.

Jiarine says, speaking to you, "Having a bleeding heart is going to hurt a lot of people."

Dayzed nods at Roelon.

Randsford asks, speaking to Rammael, "A request for the trial? Can we have guards at the ready to seize those speaking out of turn?"

Cryheart takes a bite of his cherry-glazed goose.

You laugh softly, trying to hide your amusement.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Randsford, "You didn't request a point of order."

Roelon grins.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Randsford, "You're under arrest."

Randsford nods at Dayzed.

Rammael says, speaking to Bakarus, "Bakarus Klysus, Councillor of Icemule Trace, you stand accused of collusion with an enemy of Icemule Trace, of murder, and of high crimes. A trial will be held on a mutually agreeable date under the eyes of Judge Teaberry Wildroot, who will assist in setting the terms of the trial and rendering the deciding verdict."

Randsford says, speaking to Dayzed, "Gladly if they take you too."

Randsford smirks at Dayzed.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Randsford, "I've bribed far too many town officials to be arrested."

Roelon nods at Teaberry.

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "My schedule, serving the town of Icemule is quite busy. I will certainly let you know."

Jiarine asks, "With such an important trial should it be left to a single person?"

Falvicar nods once at Teaberry.

Bakarus smiles at Rammael.

Lurrah says, speaking to Jiarine, "She was already elected. When the accused helped to vote her in."

Jiarine says, "You missed the point."

Rammael says, speaking quickly to Bakarus, "In the meantime, your activities and status a Town Councillor are suspended, pursuant to the resolution of your trial."

Dayzed turns to Rammael and cheers!

Teaberry says, "I am at the town's disposal. I am mainly concerned with how long it will take both sides to amass evidence and a defense."

Perigourd says, speaking to Bakarus, "Your calendar seems open after all."

Zeminar shifts his eyes to Dayzed.

Perigourd folds his hands behind his back.

Lurrah says, speaking to Jiarine, "Normally I would take pause with such a thing, but I believe Teaberry to be honest and true to the town."

Gespry melodically says, "Not sure, but I think ellerel Barrowfoot, might be helpful in determining what a lich's influence can and can't do."

Bakarus shakes his head.

Sorlu nods perfunctorily.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Gespry, "Indeed."

Cryheart nods at Perigourd.

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "And to think I was the most vocal about your protection during the murders."

Jiarine dismissively says, "Please do not stop on my account."

Bakarus shakes his head.

Rammael says, speaking to Bakarus, "This is nothing personal, I assure you."

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "Of course."

Falvicar nods once.

Rammael says, speaking carefully to Bakarus, "I am merely following the law."

You also see the skull-shaped Zeminar disk, a small black fox with a white-tipped tail, the ivy-trimmed Erienne disk dotted with clusters of Imaera's Lace, a black-tipped majestic snow leopard, the Neovik disk, a stocky snow white puppy with oversized black-tipped paws, the Tabubu disk, the web-draped Missoni disk, a lazy wild ash grey dog and a massive snowy white tiger. Also here: Zeminar, Mistress Erienne who is sitting, Hiea, Sir Geijon, Rimo who is sitting, Aenternoll who is sitting, Neovik, Sir Cryheart, Perigourd, Lord Sorlu, Lurrah who is sitting, Defender of Mist Harbor Teaberry, Tabubu who is sitting, Bakarus, Missoni, Lord Randsford, Merrymaker Gespry who is sitting, Dragoon Dayzed who is sitting, Falvicar who is sitting, Magister Raelee, Roelon, Jiarine, Rammael who is sitting Obvious exits: none

Erienne shakes her head, totally at a loss.

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "Or making it up as needed."

Bakarus chuckles.

Bakarus says, "A trial it is."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Bakarus, "You know all about making things up, eh."

Jiarine says, speaking to Rammael, "Since you are a little quill pusher I suggest that you leave an open copy of the town laws where everyone can read them."

Geijon furrows his brow.

Bakarus says, speaking to Dayzed, "Good one."

Teaberry asks, "Would a month prep time be acceptable to both the prosecution and the defense?"

Roelon deeply says, "In the end, when the truth is out. We must accept it. If it is liked or nae."

Roelon nods once.

Falvicar whispers, "People should show more respect. Just because they dont agree with how you want to do something doesn't mean they shouldn't disrespect you like that. Tis why I said something my Love."

Gespry nods at Roelon.

Perigourd says, speaking to Teaberry, "One would expect evidence needs to be gathered for presentation and testimonies taken down."

You quietly whisper to Falvicar, "Thank you for supporting me darling I was not going to take their sour bait."

Teaberry nods at Perigourd.

Rammael says, speaking to Jiarine, "No one else seems to have a problem reading them, but then again..."
Rammael leaves the rest unsaid.

Gespry nods at Rammael.

Sorlu grins.

Jiarine asks, "Oh where would I find the laws then?"

Randsford nods at Roelon.

You quietly whisper to Falvicar, "I made my choice on where a stood. and I knew both Gespry and Roelon would take it to trial."

Teaberry says, "Yes, exactly. I don't know how long it would take to amass the evidence. That's why I'm asking."

Sorlu says, speaking to Jiarine, "In the books."

Rammael says, "Likely here in Clovertooth Hall."

Sorlu nods at Jiarine.

Rammael nods at Sorlu.

Sorlu flashes a quick grin.

Rammael seems to be struggling to keep his face pleasant.

Falvicar whispers, "I would have chose trial for what tis worth but I still respect your choice on your vote Darling."

Jiarine says, "Oh... thank you. Now I can go rummage through desks to find that book."

You say, speaking quietly to Rammael, "Any word on the statue replacement for Town square sir."

Jiarine says, "Maybe I can find the missing silver too."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Jiarine, "That should keep you busy and out of everyone's hair for a while."

Rammael says, speaking to Teaberry, "The Town Council can, of course, provide advice on the management of the trial. The law gives broad latitude to presiding judges."

Lurrah stares off into space.

Roelon grins.

Jiarine says, speaking to Dayzed, "I might drop a candle."

Jiarine mouths, "Poof."

Lurrah mutters something about the.

Lurrah mutters something about statue.

Dayzed deeply says, "Truly the most pressing matter."

Dayzed laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement.

Dayzed deeply says, "Amazing."

Lurrah nods.

Rammael says, "However, the standard structure is clear: representatives for the prosecution and defense must be selected, and their presentations must be made to you."

Jiarine soothes, speaking to Dayzed, "Worry not. I plan on leaving again once this is over."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Jiarine, "Don't go."

Lurrah says, "Right behind what's for supper."

Dayzed smirks.

Sorlu adopts an agreeable expression.

Zeminar nods at Bakarus.

Gespry nods at Rammael.

You say, speaking quietly to Lurrah, "Tarts of course."

Lurrah nods slowly.

Rammael says, speaking to Randsford, "I did not want to ask while the matter was still being decided, but..."

Zeminar nods.

Randsford raises an eyebrow in Rammael's direction.

Rammael asks, speaking quietly to Randsford, "Can you be sure that Bakarus was not simply engaging in a performance?"

Randsford looks over at Rammael and shakes his head.

Rammael glances at Bakarus.
Rammael says, speaking flatly to Randsford, "Fascinating."

Randsford says, speaking to Bakarus, "No, as I stated to him before. He is either possessed or an incredible con man."

The sound of the wind whistling comes from outside.

Roelon rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Randsford, "Simplest explanations are usually the most correct."

Gespry nods slowly.

Randsford asks, speaking to Dayzed, "Whats simple about a lich that can pierce minds?"

Randsford peers quizzically at Dayzed.

Rammael says, "Regarding the matter of the mule statue, renovations are to begin soon."

Falvicar tilts his head toward Rammael, examining him intently as the tip of one ear twitches briefly.

Roelon nods once at Rammael.

You smile at Rammael.

Rammael asks, "Is there other business to pursue this evening?"

You quietly say, "Thank you."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Randsford, "Clearly that went over your head."

Roelon deeply says, "There are many tongues it seems that wish to grace it."

Jiarine pauses, glancing at Rammael expectantly. It looks as though she is waiting for applause or something.

Roelon nods at Rammael.

Sorlu asks, "Who will be leading the prosecution?"

Bakarus says, speaking to Randsford, "It has happened to many before, this is hardly a new facet to these types of beings."

Sorlu says, "Perhaps I missed hearing that."

An old memory bubbles up from your past, and causes you to reflect a moment. With a flash of insight, you realize you understand yourself a bit better than you did a moment ago. The sudden feeling of self-knowledge is a pleasant one.

You quietly say, "Teaberry."

Gespry ponders.

Lurrah says, speaking to you, "No, no."

Teaberry says, "No, I'm the judge."

Erienne raises an eyebrow.

Sorlu nods.

Dayzed deeply says, "Teaberry is not selecting the prosecutor."

Lurrah says, speaking to you, "She is the judge."

Sorlu says, "Teaberry is judge."

Dayzed asks, speaking deeply to you, "Are you even paying attention?"

Dayzed rolls his eyes.

Roelon slowly empties his lungs.

Roelon takes a drink from his honey swirled lager.

Roelon looks rather relaxed.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Rammael, "You need to see a new council elected, too, I think."

Jiarine says, "Brilliant idea to allow the judge to hear this before the trial even starts. Nothing like having an unbiased opinion."

Missoni furrows her brow.

Gespry melodically says, "To many pocket lawyers here."

Rammael says, speaking to Sorlu, "The Town Council will likely need to solicit a prosecutor and a defender. Selecting both should not be difficult."

Gespry nods at Rammael.

Perigourd shrugs nonchalantly at Raelee.

Sorlu nods at Rammael.

Roelon rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Lurrah adds, "Don't forget elected by a council including the accused."

Roelon takes a drink from his honey swirled lager.

Roelon looks rather relaxed.

Bakarus asks, speaking to Rammael, "I do not get to select my own defense?"

Sorlu says, "Though it might be difficult for Bakarus to find someone to defend him."

Sorlu rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Perigourd nods at Raelee.

Dayzed deeply says, "He should be allowed to hire his own defense at his own expense."

Jiarine says, speaking to Bakarus, "For the record I am not doing it. I prefer my lying to be more convert."

Perigourd chuckles.

Rammael says, speaking to Bakarus, "You may, of course, submit your choice to the Town Council, if you believe you are of sufficiently sound mind to select one."

Bakarus snickers.

Zeminar shakes his head.

Sorlu grins at Rammael.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Bakarus, "I hear Svardin is an excellent attorney."

Bakarus says, "I will submit my choice."

Lurrah glances at Randsford.

Lurrah furrows her brow.

Randsford looks over at Lurrah and shakes his head.

Neovik snickers at Dayzed.

The shimmering multicolored sphere fades from around Jiarine.

Rammael nods at Bakarus.

Gespry says, speaking melodically to Rammael, "Dependant on the trail, you should be ready for up to two positions."

Dayzed nods at Rammael.

Rammael says, speaking to Gespry, "To save the town the expense, we may need to wait until the verdict is given."

Gespry melodically says, "Thats what I just said."

Perigourd nods at Raelee.

Dayzed chuckles.

Gespry melodically says, "Dependant."

Bakarus says, speaking to Gespry, "Lets not get ahead of ourselves. If anything more than rumor is required, I will be resuming my duties."

Jiarine says, speaking to Gespry, "No one can hear about their own lips flapping."

Jiarine nods once.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Bakarus, "Keep dreaming."

Roelon grins.

Tabubu arches one eyebrow at Dayzed in an expression of sardonic amusement.

Bakarus says, speaking to Dayzed, "Your behavior continues to aid me. Thank you."

Gespry melodically says, "If Bakarus is found innocent, he should get his seat back."

Rammael asks, speaking to Bakarus, "As the meeting is still officially in progress, would you like to provide the name of your requested defender?"

You agree with Gespry.

Roelon nods at Gespry.

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "Not at this time, this has been a bit....chaotic. I will need some time to think on it."

Falvicar whispers, "A good example from the Landing, some of the Judges were effectively the prosecutor and were asking the questions."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Bakarus, "My charitable funding will greatly aid your prosecution."

Jiarine asks, "Should he not at least have time to ask if someone is not here?"

Rammael nods at Bakarus.
Rammael says, speaking to Bakarus, "Of course."
Rammael says, speaking to Bakarus, "Please, then, submit it to me directly and I will ensure that the Council reviews it."

Gespry stands up.

Bakarus nods at Rammael.

Rammael looks to the Councillors.

Bakarus says, "Of course."

You stand back up.

Swirling the edge of his Faendryl cloak out to one side in a dramatic flourish of rattling bones, Gespry bows ceremoniously towards Rammael.

Rammael says, "As for a prosecutor... I believe this choice should be up to the Council."

Sorlu nods at Rammael.

Falvicar stands up.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Roelon, "I have ideas if you and Gespry can't think of anyone."

Dayzed winks at Gespry.

Gespry melodically says, "I think Roelon had a good idea about that." Roelon nods slowly.

Rammael raises an eyebrow in Roelon's direction.

Gespry nods at Dayzed.

You peer quizzically at Roelon.

Roelon whispers, "Join Gespry."

Gespry melodically says, "We, the active council would review thew previous list we had for judges."

You join Gespry.

Roelon whispers to the group, "It was our list of judges."

Roelon nods to you.

Falvicar ponders.

Rammael nods at Gespry.

Dayzed whispers something to Roelon.

You whisper, "Awe great idea." to your group.

Hiea whispers, "Good luck."

Jiarine says, "Will you limit how many each side can have? It would be unfair if the numbers were skewed unequally."

Falvicar whispers, "Counclors only joining him or may I my love?"

Dayzed blinks at Jiarine.

Rammael says, speaking to Jiarine, "One and one. They may have their supports, of course, and those are not limited in number."

Roelon whispers to the group, "Perigourd was second place and runner up."

Roelon rubs his chin thoughtfully.

You quietly whisper to Hiea, "Ohh Im sorry I forgot to answer you about that signing thing.. I really don't know what was happening there."

Falvicar ponders.

Jiarine asks, "Can I speak for each side I wanted?"

You quietly whisper to Falvicar, "Just councilers for the moment hon."

Gespry nods at Roelon.

Rammael says, "Once a prosecutor and defender have been selected, the Town Council's role in this matter ends unless support is needed in enacting the verdict."

Hiea whispers, "All good but thank you."

Falvicar nods understandingly to you.

Sorlu nods once.

Rammael says, "Both representatives will need to confer and agree with Judge Wildroot on the proper structure of the trial."

Roelon whispers to the group, "Followed by Meliyara."

Rammael nods at Teaberry.

Teaberry nods.

Lurrah asks, speaking to Rammael, "And punishment?"

Gespry melodically says, "Fair enough to me."

You quietly whisper to Hiea, "Come tomorrow night."

Falvicar nods.

Hiea whispers, "What is tomorrow night."

Perigourd ponders.

Rammael says, speaking to Lurrah, "It depends on which, if any, of the crimes he is found to be guilty of committing."

Lurrah nods.

Teaberry asks, "What are the penalties for each?"

You quietly whisper to Hiea, "To the fireside tales with the Mentors. me and Roelon will be there and sharing some of the icemule adventures so far."

Gespry melodically says, "I'm sure Rammael will advise the judge and what the punishment is, if guilty, based on historical records. but lets not get ahead of ourselves."

You quietly whisper to Hiea, "Great place to get caught up and ask questions."

Bakarus's expression goes blank as his thoughts turn inward.

Roelon nods at Gespry.

Gespry melodically says, "We have a judge."

Erienne agrees with Gespry.

Gespry bows to Teaberry.

Hiea whispers, "What time is it and where?"

Folding her left arm behind her back and dipping to one knee, Teaberry bows respectfully to Gespry and inclines her head.

Falvicar leans over and whispers, "Forgot not what I taught thee about Liches in the Rift and their phylactery needing to be destoryed for them to die."

Rammael says, speaking to Teaberry, "With Mayor Winterberry having scuttled the town gallows and having fired the headsman..."

Jiarine says, speaking to a lazy wild ash grey dog, "Back the hell up."

Gespry melodically says, "We will discuss and inform both the judge and Rammael here of our prosecutor."

Rammael says, "The punishment would be banishment until the time of his final death."

You quietly whisper to Hiea, "9pm eastern at the Silverwood manor."

Dayzed lets out a cheer!

Falvicar whispers, "Thus safe to assume Zeban has one though I dont recall if it was destroyed or not."

Dayzed deeply asks, "With departure via trebuchet?"

Rammael looks over at Dayzed and shakes his head.

Erienne says, "Oh that does sound fun."

Gespry says, speaking melodically to Dayzed, "That would be fun."

Erienne laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.

Dayzed deeply says, "A man can dream."

Gespry nods at Dayzed.

Hiea whispers, "I will have to see if im availabe but sounds like fun."

Bakarus says, "Yes bannish me and Ill come back for death."

Falvicar whispers, "And if you want.. we can go to the Rift later to hunt one down so thee can see what they look like."

Rammael says, "I should be clear that Bakarus is not suspected of involvement with the ongoing murders in Icemule Trace."

Falvicar nods to you.

Roelon furrows his brow.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Rammael, "Yet."

Gespry nods at Rammael.

Zeminar says, speaking darkly to Bakarus, "Might be a blessing to be banished, based on this mockery."

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Zeminar, "The gate is that way."

Dayzed points south.

Roelon nods once.

Jiarine says, speaking to Dayzed, "You missed the other three."

You ask, speaking quietly to Dayzed, "You know where it is?"

Lurrah raises her hand.

Dayzed asks, speaking deeply to you, "Shouldn't you be listening more closely, Councilor?"

Lurrah interrupts, "Excuse me."

Gespry cocks his head at Lurrah.

Tabubu nods knowingly. Lurrah asks, "Do we have any more information on the missing funds or clerk?"

Bakarus says, speaking to Lurrah, "Oh, that should be on me as well probably. Just add it to the docked."

Bakarus chuckles.

Rammael says, speaking to Lurrah, "We do not. Councillor O'Mallory's family has also refused to hold a funeral."

Sorlu begins chuckling at Bakarus!

Lurrah nods slowly at Rammael.

Rammael says, "They continue to hold out hope, but..."
Rammael slowly empties his lungs.

Sorlu cocks his head at Rammael.

Lurrah says, speaking to Rammael, "I do not blame them."

Sorlu frowns.

Erienne whispers something to Gespry.

Erienne attempts to hum a merry little tune.

Roelon grins.

Gespry begins chuckling at Erienne!

Sorlu says, "It can be a hard thing to accept."

Lurrah says, "One should always hope."

Erienne flashes a quick grin.

Sorlu nods once.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Sorlu, "Until there is a body, there is hope."

Sorlu agrees with Dayzed.

Sorlu says, speaking to Dayzed, "If only that."

Rammael asks, "Are there any other matters to be brought to the Council?"

Roelon dusts off his black woolen kilt.

Sorlu looks over at Rammael and shakes his head.

Jiarine asks, "When will your hopefully useful guards start working?"

Sorlu glances appraisingly around the room.

Gespry dusts off his Faendryl kilt.

Lurrah stands up.

Roelon grins.

Rammael asks, speaking to Jiarine, "Anxious to see hooligans kept out of the town?"

Jiarine says, "I refuse comment."

Neovik smiles.

Teaberry chuckles.

Lurrah says, speaking to Rammael, "She calls them friends."

Gespry whispers something to Rammael.

Sorlu grins.

Rammael says, "Well, if there is naught more to discuss, this meeting of the Town Council is ended."
Rammael takes a drink from his white chocolate mocha.
A bit of foam clings to his upper lip.

Jiarine says, "Pleadse, you have no idea who I would consider a friend."

Neovik snickers to himself.

Roelon nods at Gespry.

Dayzed says, speaking deeply to Rammael, "Thank you for your time."

Geijon glances around, looking a bit less confident.

Hiea nods at Neovik.

Perigourd turns toward Rammael and renders a sharp hand salute.

Missoni nods gratefully at Rammael.

Erienne stands up.

Gespry nods.

Erienne dusts herself off.

Rammael says, speaking to Dayzed, "It's my honor, as always."

Bakarus says, speaking to Rammael, "Stay safe out there Rammael."

Cryheart turns toward Rammael and renders a sharp hand salute.

With straightened posture and a firm chin, Sorlu presents himself to Rammael with a short, courteous bow.

Erienne adjusts the front of her black velvet jacket so it rests perfectly even on her chest.

Dayzed bows.

Sir Cryheart just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors.

Sorlu turns to face Lurrah.

Swirling the edge of his Faendryl cloak out to one side in a dramatic flourish of rattling bones, Gespry bows ceremoniously towards Rammael.

Lurrah smiles.

Missoni says, speaking to Rammael, "Thank you, sir."

Aenternoll stands up.

Neovik forcefully crosses one arm over his black leather coat-of-plates and offers a formal bow.

Jiarine summons a torrent of elemental mana and releases upon herself a flurry of abjurations.

Roelon whispers, "Ye ok us asking Perigourd?"

Sorlu clasps Lurrah's hand tenderly.

Aenternoll stretches.

Jiarine summons a torrent of elemental mana and releases upon herself a flurry of abjurations.

Dragoon Dayzed just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors.

Rammael stands up.

Jiarine removes a brass and gold capsule with a glaesine dome from in her silver-grey fox wrap.

Zeminar chuckles.

You whisper, "Just because I don't think he's guilty and don't think there doesn't need to be a trial doesn't mean I wouldn't agree if you two did. i will support you two." to your group.

You also see a small black fox with a white-tipped tail, the ivy-trimmed Erienne disk dotted with clusters of Imaera's Lace, a black-tipped majestic snow leopard, a stocky snow white puppy with oversized black-tipped paws, the Tabubu disk, the web-draped Missoni disk, a lazy wild ash grey dog and a massive snowy white tiger. Also here: Mistress Erienne, Hiea, Sir Geijon, Aenternoll, Perigourd, Lord Sorlu, Lurrah, Defender of Mist Harbor Teaberry, Tabubu who is sitting, Bakarus, Missoni, Lord Randsford, Merrymaker Gespry, Falvicar, Magister Raelee, Roelon Obvious exits: none

Bakarus says, "See you soon."

Opalina smiles weakly at Bakarus

Bakarus whispers, "Thank you."
