Big Snorri's Bows
Big Snorri's Bows is the fletcher shop in Kharam Dzu. It is located in the northeast corner of the Bazaar on the west side of town.
[Big Snorri's Bows] | RNUM: 1856 |
The smell of fresh shaved wood drifts through the air in this large shop. Barrels of arrows line the walls while just over them, shelves holding bows and crossbows of various types stretch from wall to wall. Like thick spider webs, bowstrings of different lengths hang from the ceiling. Standing in the middle of the room is a giant counter. You also see Big Snorri and a dark curtain. |

Big Snorri
Big Snorri is a giant's giant. He towers above you, looking more like an old oak tree than a man, but examining him closely, you see a hint of an infectious smile on his face. By the care he seems to give his shop and the stock on the racks, you judge his product to be worth consideration.
Big Snorri aims a crossbow at several invisible targets about the shop.
Big Snorri carefully cuts a strip of leather from some scrap.
Big Snorri examines a newly crafted bow for imperfections.
Big Snorri glances about his shop like a mother hen, making sure all is in order before returning to his work.
Big Snorri hammers a nail on the counter.
Big Snorri lets out a mighty yawn, and glances about sleepily.
Big Snorri pulls a heavy crossbow down off the rack, hefting it easily. "If'n ya fancy a weap'n with a punch, try this!" He shows you the crossbow, and lays it back on the rack, smiling.
Big Snorri quietly occupies his time by preparing a few lengths of string and placing them in a drawer.
Big Snorri spends a few moments fussing over the placement of the bows on the rack, lining them up neatly.
Big Snorri takes out an oiled cloth and carefully polishes the counter.
Big Snorri works on a quiver, paying little attention to anything else.
"Fancy yerse'f a fine bow eh?" Big Snorri suddenly asks, seeing your interest in his wares. "Only th' finest here, mind. I dinnae peddle th' weak stilts ya find else'wher!"
Groaning slightly, Big Snorri pops his knuckles. You, however, wince at the hideous cracking.
"Here noo, dinnae ferget ta keep a good stock o' arrows," Big Snorri mentions, seemingly lost in his own thought.
Whistling, Big Snorri takes out a knife and begins carving a design into the face of a long bow.
Description
Vertical sandalwood boards panel the front of a tall building wedged snugly into the town wall's northeastern corner. Arrows of various types dangle from the outcropping roofline, swaying lazily with the commotion of bodies rushing by. Hanging above a narrow door, a tremendous greatbow draws your eye.
>look greatbow
Thick as a giant's arm at its middle, the bow tapers away from a tooled leather grip in slender curves toward either end, extending nearly the width of the building. You know not a mortal who could wield such a weapon.
