Cobbling dye

Cobbling dye is used in the cobbling system to craft cobbled footwear. Cobbling dye is also compatible with a wide variety of other crafting systems and item scripts which take dyes. Cobbling dye is sold at cobbling supply shops as well as various festivals and pay events. The Dye-n-ator is capable of storing cobbling dye. Cobbling dye is one of several different dye scripts. It should not be confused with alchemy dye or dye purchased from a dyer's tent, which are both separate dye scripts. For full information on the cobbling system, see the main cobbling article. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now! Additional Information It is not possible to dye cobbling materials as an apprentice or a journeyman cobbler. While not actually cobbling dyes, dyes found in the Dyer's tent in various towns and the dyes created through alchemy can be used on uppers. Dyer's tent dyes must first be converted to alchemy dye by bringing a purchased dye to the clerk and using the ORDER BOTTLE command. These can also be used with alchemy dye additives.
