Reiphe says, "However, this is your opportunity to win the hearts and mind of Icemule's people."

Gespry nods.

Gespry melodically says, "Hello everyone, and for those who don't know me, my name is Gespry, and for those who do know me, I'm still Gespry. I'm running for a spot on the Town Council...again"."

Gespry melodically says, "Just a short bit about myself...I'm a master of the mystical arts of sorcery. A local Guild Master here to the Icemule Sorcerer Guild. I'm also a proud member and also currently the chairman of the House White Haven."."

Gespry melodically says, "As a side note and this has nothing to do whatsoever with me being here. However, everyone should be aware. I love coffee.."

Gespry chuckles.

Gespry melodically says, "Platform project I'd love to see is.."

Gespry smacks his lips.

Gespry nods.

Gespry melodically says, "I'd really love to re-connect Icemule to the half-krolvin village to the west, along with help and expansion of a docking place to access the sea for sailing and fishing for the locals here. The open sea is part of the next frontier along with the icy wilds to the north. Pls it wuld give us access to eaier trade with other towns by way of sea trade."

Gespry glances at Talliver.

Gespry nods slowly.

Talliver nods thoughtfully.

Gespry melodically says, "Policy wise, I'm open minded, but with a realistic view of what is possible. I look forward to positive active change in the community of Icemule, regardless if I'm selected to be on the council or not."."

Gespry melodically says, "And this is important."

Gespry melodically says, "I also want to point out, if I'm unable to do this job do to for reasons or not being here, I EXPECT to be REMOVED and REPLACED, but more then likely, I'll step up and resign."

Gespry melodically says, "And to finish this up."

Gespry melodically says, "And to re-iterate, my name is Gespry, And I'm running for Town Council and thanks."."

Gespry melodically asks, "Questions?"

Speaking deeply to Gespry, Dayzed asks, "What's your stance on scampering?"

Gespry melodically says, "Good exercise."

Gespry melodically says, "Everyone should do it."

Gespry nods at Dayzed.

Gespry scampers in circles around Dayzed.

Gespry winks.

Gespry turns to face Arianiss.

Arianiss says, "First, I would like to say how thankful and appreciative I am of your continued support of the town through the past year."

Gespry nods to Arianiss.

Arianiss says, "Thank you."

Arianiss smiles at Gespry.

Arianiss asks, "What do you feel needs to be done with the treaty with Ta'Vaalor?"

Gespry melodically says, "That sounds more like a statement then a question. but I do appreciate the words."

Gespry melodically says, "I think its time we review that treaty, and if need be, decide as a town if iut is needed still."

Gespry melodically says, "As a town we should decide. personally it should probably go."

Gespry turns to face Talliver.

Talliver asks, "You mentioned revitalizing the lost half-krolvin village. Doing so would result in a new trade route of great value, but also great and untamed distance. How would you propose protecting that route?"

Gespry turns an inquisitive ear toward Talliver.

Gespry melodically says, "This would be a good way to employ the refugee half krolvin we have settled here."

Gespry nods at Talliver.

Gespry melodically says, "The gate guards we have here around town. rex, lex and the like, are quite..umm..lax to employ for trail protection."

Gespry nods at Talliver.

Gespry melodically says, "We need new blood, with less intake of pub drinks."

Speaking melodically to Talliver, Gespry says, "I'd love to explore that whole trail, village, docks in greater detail sometime. but seven minutes is not enough time."

Gespry turns to face Darcena.

Darcena asks, "Gespry, what sort of relationship do you intend to have with Wehnimer's Landing?"

Gespry melodically says, "I'd prefer one with them as out neighbors, then Ta'vaalor. we are in quite the same boat. so to speak as a frontier town."

Roelon

Speaking to Roelon, Reiphe says, "Master McColend, it is your turn."

>look at roelon

Twisting vines writhe around Roelon, obscuring him in an ever-shifting barrier of thorns.

You see Roelon McColend the Investigator.

He appears to be a Giantman of the Wsalamir Clan.

He is taller than average. He appears to be full grown. He has piercing blue-tinged silver eyes and tanned skin. He has long, braided white hair loosely entangled in a ponytail by a thin chain of veil iron thorns entwined with silver wire. He has a broad face, a classical nose and a neatly-trimmed beard with an icy blue streak down one side. Obscured behind his beard is a rugged, muscular jawline that is further emphasized by weather-worn cheeks. A faceted sliver of grey shadowglass is positioned between his eyes, which casts a sparkling pale grey sheen across his face.

He has some converging Saramar runes on his neck, a tattoo of a somber black dragon that coils upwards from jaw to temple, and a circular blue tribal tattoo on his neck.

He is in good shape.

He is wearing a wide-brimmed black leather fedora, a dark veil iron earcuff, a wintry black leather duster, an old dark silver insignia of ruby-inlaid crossed waraxes, a carved wendigo totem strung from a leather cord, a scaled black leather travel pack, a studded dark alloy weapons bandolier, a stygian black rolaren coat-of-plates with a silver-defined veil iron pauldron, a vine-etched aranthium armlet, some rugged ebon leather gloves with rhimar studs set in each knuckle, a veil iron signet ring entwined with rolaren, a massive Wsalamir herb kit crafted from wintery grey animal furs, a patchwork tartan hip-satchel crafted from repurposed kilts stitched together, a brushed black leather saddlebag, a roughly knit woolen kilt threaded with rhimar studs, and some blackened leather hiking boots.

Roelon nods while tilting his black leather fedora forward and giving a quick, teeth-flashing grin.

Roelon deeply says, "Ah good evening to ye all. Icemulians, travelers and those who call the north home. It hae been quite sometime since the last time ah spoke here and ah am nae any much better at these and as such ah will keep it brief as ah kin."

Roelon pulls the folds of his black woolen kilt more tightly around his waist.

Roelon deeply says, "To those who dinnae know me, ah am Roelon McColend of Wsalamir, It is ah great pleasure to be here tonight once again."

Roelon slowly takes a few steps in a small circle.

Roelon deeply says, "Much has happened to our town, more then ah hae time tonight to speak of. But mah eyes are focused to the present and future of the town. What danger presents itself now has the potential to expand past our frosty borders. We face nae just an enemy old, but ah spy within our midst who would aid them in our own destruction."

Roelon confidently strides a few steps forward.

Roelon deeply says, "Ah hae seen many things through mah travels and learned ah great deal from those who ah would consider great leaders..."

Roelon deeply says, "What ah ask of ye is ah chance for me to work with the other elected councilors and add mah knowledge and spirit to theirs. To carry yir voice to those who are in power and give it substance. We are what makes this town what it is and there is still much that needs to be done."

Roelon places a hand over his heart.

Roelon deeply says, "And ah make the same vow to ye tonight as ah did last time we all met here. Regardless if what happens, ah will offer mah blade, mah kilt and mah own voice along with yir own to whomever is elected."

Roelon nods once.

Roelon bows.

Roelon nods at Talliver.

Talliver asks, "You mentioned spies in our midst. How do you feel we should best balance security with the spirit of warmth that has always defined Icemule Trace?"

Roelon deeply says, "Security is an issue ah believe we do lack. However ah do nae wish ah guard on every street. We hae much freedom in the north and would nae take that away."

Roelon deeply says, "However, ah do believe there should be some ....reorganization in the guards."

Roelon nods at Darcena.

Darcena asks, "Roelon, what sort of relationship do you intend to have with Wehnimer's Landing?"

Roelon deeply says, "Wehnimers is our neighbor and believe it should be ah relationship of mutal aid. Ah offer my aid down there through the LDI and believe the town hae much to offer up here. In trade and aid should the need arise."

Roelon nods to Arianiss.

Arianiss asks, "What are your thoughts on the treaty with Ta'Vaalor?"

Roelon deeply says, "It is one that should be revisited if not removed. It was made in haste ah believe and with emotions ah bit chatoic."

Speaking to Roelon, Randsford asks, "If there is only one thing you could accomplish during your term, what would that be?"

Roelon deeply says, "To help rebuild our town and unite all of our towns folk past our troubling times.. Halfing, Half krol, elf and all."

Opalina

Speaking to Opalina, Reiphe says, "Mistress Opalina, you are next."

>look at opalina

You see Concierge Opalina Gemiena the Gypsy.

She appears to be a Half-Elf.

She is quite short for one of elven heritage and has a curvaceous figure. She appears to be in the meridian of life. She has large brilliant cerulean eyes and freckled skin. She has mid back-length, curly deep red hair with intricately twisted twin rolls knotted into a half bun and surrounded by a knotworked ferronniere circlet on her head. She has an evenly proportioned, plain face, a freckled nose and slightly pointed ears. Tiny flecks of sea blue have formed within her pupils.

She has a teacup-cradled clockwork mouse tattoo on her leg, a small lockpick tattoo on her wrist, a roaring silver dragon tattoo on her arm, a niveous-inked fall of tiny snowflakes on her ear, a petite faceted ruby arrow in the upper ridge of her right ear, and a tiny red crystal rose in the upper ridge of her left ear.

She is in good shape.

She is wearing a silvery white bearskin coat lined with ermine, a wide brass spiral etched with rolling waves, a soft grey penguin feather, an off-shoulder creamy silk blouse bound with a silver snowflake belt, some arm-length polar bear skin gloves, a sun-etched gold and bronze ring with bright jacinth rays, a silvery gossamer over-skirt, a silver bell-trimmed azure gossamer veil skirt, and a pair of smoky grey silk stockings under some watertight polar bear skin boots.

Opalina quietly says, "Greetings everyone."

Opalina quietly says, "My name is Opalina Springfurs,. I've lived in Icemule my whole life. Everyone in town has seen my mischievousness. I was even caught once carving my name into the well."

Opalina demurely lowers her brilliant cerulean eyes.

Opalina's cheeks flush with a soft pale rose shade, darkening her freckles even more.

Opalina quietly says, "But I've grown up since then and have experienced the world."

Opalina nods knowingly.

Opalina quietly says, "I love the snow and the sea, *begins rambling about the ocean and seeing a dolphin last week and getting lost in a storm but quickly pulls herself back to the present a flush in her cheeks and continues* I do travel and see how the world is doing but, my heart is here in the snow and mountains."

Opalina gazes fondly at her surroundings.

Opalina quietly says, "The people of Icemule come in all shapes, sizes, and nationalities. I enjoy when we get new friends and will travel to visit those who only came to visit."

Opalina gazes about with intense interest at her surroundings, her brilliant cerulean eyes pausing briefly on everything nearby.

Opalina quietly says, "The reason for wanting to be on the council is to support you all."

Opalina nods enthusiastically!

Opalina quietly says, "I would love to present your wants and needs and be a convoy between the people and the town."

Opalina quietly says, "It has always been my goal to be a welcoming member of Icemule and this position would only take benefit from my outgoing nature."

Opalina smiles spreading her arms wide including everyone in the audience.

Opalina quietly says, "I bring my worldly experience and travels into the mix of five other council members. My ideas and thoughts would be a different perspective in the discussions and solutions that transpire."

(Opalina gazes into the audience trying to meet eye's.)

Jiarine asks, "How do you feel that being a female on this particular council will better the town?"

Opalina quietly says, "It would provide a different possibly softer and nurturing outlook to situations."

Opalina quietly says, "In my case."

Jiarine asks, "Would you be strong enough to handle the hard aspects?"

Opalina quietly says, "Depends on what hard is I suppose."

Opalina quietly says, "If you mean killing things outside the gate then yes I can stand shoulder to shoulder with anymay."

Opalina quietly says, "Anyone."

Opalina quietly says, "Man or woman."

Opalina quietly says, "Giant or gnome."

Opalina quietly says, "If my judgement were in question because I am a woman well I believe I am of sound mind and body."

Speaking to Opalina, Talliver asks, "What do you think is the greatest need in Icemule Trace that is not currently being met by the town government?"

Speaking quietly to Talliver, Opalina says, "The town is a wonderful place to grow up and lacks very little having a solid government and support from the people and being able to support other towns is were we should be heading."

Darcena asks, "'How specifically would you build relationship with other towns - particularly the Landing - without betraying what Icemule is?"

Speaking quietly to Darcena, Opalina says, "There isn't a need to betray what Icemule is to help others."

Opalina quietly says, "Icemule has a lot to offer and the support of our town would should be agreed upon by the council and the town together."

Bakarus

Reiphe says, "Our next speaker is Bakarus."

>look at bakarus

You see a medium tall, robust figure with features hidden by a deeply hooded, austere dark robe.

Bakarus smiles.

Bakarus humbly says, "Friends, my name is Bakarus. A humble pilgrim stands before you, one who owes a great debt to this fine city."

Bakarus wistfully says, "As my time as a young soldier in Jantalar wound down, I found myself lost and wanting a fresh start. Icemule protected me, allowed me to earn honest wage, pay fair taxes. You gave me the new start I was looking for."

Bakarus says, "Since that time, I have fought shoulder to shoulder with many of you, defending the city from flying horrors, worms and other more devious threats."

Bakarus glances around the room.

Bakarus points up.

Bakarus says, "We have been to the mountain top together during expeditions and even had the humbling honor of discovering a cave with a long ago frozen ancestor of this town."

Bakarus warningly says, "There are once again threats on the horizon, looming before us beyond the mountain that will pose immense challenges to the town and its leadership."

Bakarus paces back and forth.

Bakarus says, "Even if I am not selected to the council, you will find me among you facing these threats. Fighting and even dying if need be."

Bakarus proudly says, "But there is no doubt we will surmount these challenges. Icemule is strong. Icemule is resilient. Icemule is resourceful. And most importantly, Icemule is our home."

Bakarus says, "It has been a long evening of speeches and I certainly do not want to begin rambling. In closing, I simply wish to repay my debt, by having the honor to serve all of you as town councilor."

Bakarus folds his hands.

Bakarus says, "Thank you."

Speaking to Talliver, Bakarus asks, "Mayor, you had a question?"

Speaking flatly to Bakarus, Talliver asks, "How do you propose that we deal with anyone caught supporting the cause of the lich now known as Arnabas?"

Speaking to Talliver, Bakarus says, "A crime certainly...we should question them and learn what we may to gain intelligence on this dire enemy."

Speaking to Randsford, Bakarus asks, "Yes?"

Speaking to Bakarus, Randsford asks, "How do you propose we shore up the town defenses?"

Speaking to Randsford, Bakarus says, "I believe we need a bit more infrastructure. I have been thinking about the possibility of digging a safe haven for non combatants...guarded and stocked...away from prying eyes."

Speaking to Bakarus, you ask, "If you are elected to the Town Council, I plan to approach you, and those elected, and request an oath swearing to put Icemule first, and yes, defend it with your life. Will this be an issue?"

Speaking to you, Bakarus says, "Of course not. I would not be here if I were not prepared to defend this town at all costs...including what you have mentioned."

Falvicar

Reiphe says, "Our next speaker will be Falvicar."

>look at falvicar

You see Falvicar Jalcon the Blade of the Night.

He appears to be a Sylvankind of the Tyesteron D'ahranal.

He is average height. He appears to be young. He has ether blue eyes and golden brown skin. He has long, sleek black hair peppered with silvery stars and tied back with a silver sword-shaped clasp. He has a delicate face, a classical nose and slightly pointed ears. He is wearing a silver and white silk standard emblazoned with a black sword that juts over his shoulder.

He has a moon and stars tattoo on his ear, a tattooed symbol of Ronan on his wrist, and a black unicorn tattoo on his wrist.

He is in good shape.

He is wearing a blackened mithril greathelm, a silver-edged black spidersilk cape embroidered with a rearing silver unicorn, a silver spidersilk surcoat over some dark vultite full plate, a pair of articulated silver gauntlets, a polished dark silver wedding band, a thin silver-buckled belt, a silver-bound pure white scabbard with a decorative onyx sword affixed to it, a quilted black spidersilk sack with silk drawstrings, some black silver-buckled trousers embroidered with a rearing silver unicorn on each side, some supple charcoal suede boots with darkened silver star-shaped buckles, and some silver-lined spurs.

Falvicar takes the edge of his spidersilk cape and holds it out, as he bows low in a courtly fashion.

Falvicar quietly says, "To those that don't know me, I am Falvicar - servant to Lord Ronan and Lieutenant to Lord Redding of The Order of the Night's Blade. So.. this will be short and sweet."

Falvicar nods once.

Falvicar quietly says, "I have fought many battles - including at the Demon Wall, and even have been in the Shadow Realm a few times.. I bring with me knowledge of how to fight, as well as history of the past and want this town to prosper, and be safe from evil."

Falvicar quietly asks, "Icemule is my home town, and where I grew up. If a policy or project is brought up, you can expect me to weigh the pros and cons of the decision and ensure it is in Icemule's best interest and what the people want. Any questions?"

Speaking to Falvicar, Reiphe says, "A swift speech."

Speaking quietly to Reiphe, Falvicar says, "I try to get the point."

Falvicar grins.

Falvicar nods at Talliver.

Speaking quietly to Talliver, Falvicar asks, "Yes, Mayor?"

Speaking to Falvicar, Talliver asks, "Your combat prowess is well known. How do you feel that your battle experience will help you in dealing with civic matters?"

Speaking quietly to Talliver, Falvicar says, "I believe from aiding the Landing during rought times, that I can offer advise when it comes to civic manners - specically when having had been dealing with The Rooks."

Falvicar nods at Sorlu.

Speaking to Falvicar, Sorlu asks, "If a situation were to present itself that would better Icemule, but at a sacrifice to Beacon Hall...would you place Icemule first?"

Speaking quietly to Sorlu, Falvicar says, "I would try to find a solution that both sides would agree with first."

Speaking to Falvicar, Randsford asks, "And if that were not possible?"

Speaking quietly to Randsford, Falvicar says, "Then weight the pros and cons of both and why, exactly, is it being proposed in the first place."

Falvicar nods firmly.

Falvicar nods at Darcena.

Darcena asks, "You have sworn oaths before which you have set aside. This is not meant to be a judgment on you, but merely a fact. As such, I am wondering what oath you hold most dear to you and how that would affect your time as council member. And also, what sort of relationship will you have with the Landing?"

Speaking quietly to Darcena, Falvicar asks, "Are you speaking of the Gryphons and my having had left them?"

Darcena says, "Yes, but I am not judging you or meaning to offend you."

Darcena says, "I am more curious about what oath or belief you hold most dear."

Speaking quietly to Darcena, Falvicar says, "Regardless, the Landing is a neighbor and I would want to help purge evil and help from time to time if needed just as I would expect them to do the same in turn."

Speaking quietly to Darcena, Falvicar says, "My faith in Ronan is well renown and I chose Ronan over the Gryphons since Geijon forced it."

Falvicar quietly says, "I donot believe our town would make me choose my faith over them."

Falvicar points at Jiarine.

Jiarine asks, "If you had to chose between being a hero where dangerous things are happening compared to the idle life in a frozen town how could we be convinced that you will stay when things get boring?"

Speaking quietly to Jiarine, Falvicar says, "Im afraid I donot understand. I choose to fight off whatever threats are happening in any town regardless if it is "boring" or not. Icemule is my town, it is where I grew up, it is where I still go and it is where I fled to when my father, Oranthel, and my mother disappeared on the day Raznel and Pylasar took them from me."

Kobane

Reiphe says, "Kobane is our next speaker."

>look at kobane

You see Lightweaver Kobane Tiravellian Faendryl the Town Councillor of Icemule Trace.

Kobane quietly says, "Good evenin' friends."

Kobane quietly says, "Most of yah know me. Current town councilor, co-chair of White Haven, yada yada.."

Kobane quietly says, "M'goal is still t'foster th'community, an' th'defense an' secutiry of our home."

Kobane quietly says, "Short an'sweet."

Kobane quietly says, "Thankya fer ya consideration."

Kobane bows.

Kobane cocks his head at Arianiss.

Speaking to Kobane, Arianiss asks, "Do you feel that, in your time as Councillor, you have gained the experience to be better, not that you are bad, going forward?"

Speaking quietly to Arianiss, Kobane says, "Ah did gain ah bit of experience movin' forward with diplomacy, an' dealin' with folks."

Kobane cocks his head at Gespry.

Gespry melodically asks, "What new thing or project would you like to see in this next politcal cycle of councilship?"

Speaking quietly to Gespry, Kobane says, "Ah'd like t'see ah town militia formed, with their own barracks. Similar t'what ah've seen down south in th'Landin'."

Kobane cocks his head at Talliver.

Speaking to Kobane, Talliver asks, "While eventful, your first term was hindered by my own inexperience as a mayor as well as the devastating attacks on the town. What would you like to do see changed for the Council by the Mayor's office in your second term?"

Speaking quietly to Talliver, Kobane says, "Th'forefront of what ah'd like t'see, is simply more interactions between th'town government, an' her citizens."

Kobane quietly says, "An open forum."

Kobane quietly says, "Ah'd like t'see us more engaged with one another."

Kobane cocks his head at Darcena.

Darcena asks, "What sort of relationship do you want and how are you going to foster it?"

Speaking quietly to Darcena, Kobane says, "Ah'd like t'visit this in depth at ah later time, ah'd like t'see more open diplomacy with our family an' friends down south."

Speaking quietly to Darcena, Kobane says, "There's ah lot that can be done workin' as ah whole."

Erienne

Reiphe says, "Erienne is our next speaker."

>look at erienne

Twisting vines writhe around Erienne, obscuring her in an ever-shifting barrier of thorns.

You see Lady Erienne the Tundra Warden.

She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Kytawa D'ahranal.

She is alpine in stature. She appears to be young and sprightly. She has long, full lashes fringing her lucid jade green eyes and smooth sun-kissed fair skin. She has long, silky honey blonde hair with bright sunny highlights tumbling gracefully down past the small of her back in thick, loose curls. She has a delicate face and a light smattering of freckles across her nose. She has dainty ears sweeping up to a slight point and soft, naturally pink-hued lips. A radiant-cut iridescent white diamond swirled with grey is positioned between her eyes, which casts a sparkling white sheen across her face.

She has some twisted faenor vine wrapped hoops sprouting several tiny white diamond lilies set along the slender tips of her pointed ears, a gem-encrusted star stud in her right nostril, and a tattoo of several jewel-toned butterflies flitting among twisting vines on her arm.

She is in good shape.

She is wearing a lustrous pure white lily tucked behind one ear, a luxurious snow white wool scarf, a twisted black ora choker wrapped in faenor vines sprouting several white diamond lilies, a tiny rhimar-bound seed amulet suspended from a delicate vaalin chain, a floor-length coat of weathered smoke black leather, a furry black goat pin, a pure white spidersilk backpack, a vaalin-buckled black leather harness, a long-sleeved cropped cable knit sweater of lily white paeline, some sleek soft-hued leathers, a smooth bone ring pierced by tiny crystal shards, an ice white crystal-inset golvern ring, a low-slung black suede vaalin-buckled sword belt tooled with flowering vines, an intricate vaalin-latched faenor trinket case, a pair of low-cut distressed smoke black leather pants, and some tall black leather boots laced up the back.

Erienne smiles brightly.

Erienne exclaims, "Good evening citizens of Icemule and travellers alike, thank you all so much for being here tonight!"

Erienne says, "My name is Lady Erienne Te'Azhiraan and I am running for the priviledge of serving you all as Town Councilor of Icemule Trace."

Erienne says, "I am a skilled Tundra Warden and, being an Officer of the Regulators of the Northern Frontier, am a fierce defender of this town. I will do everything in my power to protect it and its citizens against all foes, foreign and domestic."

Erienne says, "Though I am fairly new to being an actual citizen of Icemule, my heart has always been here. I travelled with several others on one of the first journeys from the landing that found this amazing town."

Erienne says, "That being said, I know there is an issue with the gate guards frequenting the local pub. I, for one, would like to see an end to this. They have abandoned their posts too frequently for far too long."

Erienne exclaims, "Another issue I would like to see resolved is reparation of the mule statue and the center of town. It is a tragedy to see it destroyed. It must be repaired!"

Erienne says, "I would love the opportunity to serve you alongside the other Town Councilors and the Mayor and be a voice for those that feel they do not have one."

Erienne smiles.

Erienne nods to Arianiss.

Speaking to Erienne, Arianiss asks, "If you could do one thing as Councillor, that no one would question or say no to, what would it be?"

Erienne looks thoughtfully at Arianiss.

Speaking to Arianiss, Erienne says, "Fix the mule statue."

Erienne looks at Arianiss and hums.

Erienne nods at Gespry.

Speaking melodically to Erienne, Gespry asks, "So you have two platform objectives, town statue restoration and cutting the guards back on pub rations. of those two, which is more important to you?"

Speaking to Gespry, Erienne says, "Well that is a very tough question since I already answered the last question I should say the statue."

Erienne ponders.

Gespry melodically says, "Security or town renewal."

Erienne exclaims, "Otherwise I would contradict myself!"

Gespry melodically says, "Is what it boils down too."

Erienne says, "I would have to say town renewal as we have proven ourselves quite adequate at protecting the town."

Speaking to Erienne, Talliver asks, "What made you decide to become a citizen of Icemule Trace?"

Erienne smiles at Talliver.

Speaking to Talliver, Erienne says, "My love for this town and all of her citizens."

Speaking to Erienne, Talliver asks, "If I may ask a followup question, what stayed your hand before that?"

Erienne looks thoughtfully at Talliver.

Erienne says, "Excellent self control. Most of the time."

Speaking to Erienne, Darcena exclaims, "You know the question!"

Effecting a coquettish expression, Erienne draws a strand of hair over her shoulder and twirls it lazily around her finger.

Erienne asks, "Do I?"

Erienne grins impishly.

Erienne turns to face Darcena.

Speaking to Darcena, Erienne says, "I have a strong love for the landing as well, and believe that we should always be there for our neighbors."

Speaking to Darcena, Erienne says, "Tact and diplomacy of course."

Sorlu

Reiphe says, "Sorlu is our next speaker."

>look at sorlu

You see Lord Sorlu Jae'kym the Scoundrel.

He appears to be a Nalfein Elf.

He is average height. He appears to be extremely young. He has icily translucent, frost blue eyes and fair skin. He has shoulder length, thick battle-touseled sable hair and a wide-brimmed black suede hat stuck with a single raven black feather worn at a rakish angle. He has an angular face, a classical nose and long pointed ears.

He has a wisp-wrapped blonde woman tattoo on his arm, a faintly serrated sliver of emerald with prismatic striations in his left eyebrow, a menacing jade-eyed onyx viper tattoo on his arm, inked wispy tendrils of smoky jade curling sensually around both forearms, and an interwoven infinity symbol tattoo on his neck.

Elongated tentacles of hazy jade mist writhe across his form, undulating in rhythm to his movements.

He is in good shape.

He is holding a slender Nalfein-style cane in his left hand.

He is wearing a sleek midnight suede rucksack stitched with gleaming silver thread, a threadbare cloak crawling with vibrant green mulefoot fungus, a black highwayman coat with an elbow-length capelet, a long-sleeved bloused ebon silk shirt, an emerald talisman etched with a wispy smoke-wrapped woman, a verdigris ivy leaf-shaped locket, a twisted invar lockpick strung on a thin black vaalin chain, some tailored black leather gloves, a brushed platinum wedding band of two intertwined figures worn on the left ring finger, an oiled leather belt, a soft leather coin bag bound with veniom, a solid steel keyring, a rugged leather loot bag, a pair of soft black suede trousers finished with onyx rivets, and some black leather boots with obsidian-tipped laces.

Sorlu smiles.

Sorlu warmly greets, "Good evening, residents of Icemule Trace. I promise to not keep you long."

Sorlu removes the hat from atop his head.

Sorlu bows.

Sorlu makes a grand, sweeping gesture with his Nalfein-style cane.

Sorlu dons his suede hat.

Sorlu continues, "Thank you for gathering tonight. I would introduce myself, but all here know who I am... and what I have done to protect this town...the risks and dangers that I have burdened myself with, all for your sake. And in kind, none of you need to introduce yourself to me, as we have stood side by side on many occasion fighting back the evil that threatens our way of life, that seeks out the Tablet I've protected in the hopes of destroying with it all we love and hold dear."

Sorlu slowly empties his lungs.

Sorlu shakes his head, totally at a loss.

Sorlu pulls his Nalfein-style cane up under his arm, clutching it like a riding crop.

Sorlu seriously states, "As we all know, we live in quite an uncertain time. Strong leadership, perhaps now more than ever, is needed to help guide our town through the dangerous nights ahead. At the risk of sounding prideful, I would venture to say few safely navigate through the darkness as well as I."

A smug expression is written over both Sorlu's face and his body language.

Sorlu sincerely says, "My hope is that I have demonstrated such strength over the last few years. Not only my incredible prowess on the battlefield, but the wit and cunning that has been necessary to avoid the schemes of the broken shadow known as Arnabas as he plotted to steal from me, from us, the Tablet he so desperately needs. So successful have I been in defeating those attempts, I might add, that he has fully retreated to the frozen north...having learned that none can take from me what I value enough to protect. And what I value, more than anything, my friends...is this town we all call home."

Sorlu smiles warmly.

Sorlu encouragingly adds, "But I am not simply a politician who aches for war and blood and the profit that can come from such things. No, not I...for I also have an eye towards the future. A future beyond these dark days! A better future. Far to often, I have seen our local economy neglected by political decisions, as well as the poor, filthy, starving, and entirely uneducated children running amuck through these streets, many of them halflings...with their eyes turned down, staring into the frozen mud instead of looking up and towards the stars. If I am placed on the council, you will see all these things, and so much more, corrected...you have my promise on that. Icemule first, and always first."

Sorlu concludes, "A vote for Sorlu Jae'kym is a vote for the future security and prosperity of Icemule.. its residents, its children, and it's local businesses. All of these things should matter to you as much as they matter to me. I ask simply that you place your faith in me... Thank you."

Speaking to Talliver, Sorlu asks, "Yes?"

Speaking to Sorlu, Talliver asks, "The Tablet represents a considerable personal and spiritual burden that you've undertaken. Can you elaborate on how you would balance your personal commitments with those to the town of Icemule Trace?"

Speaking to Talliver, Sorlu says, "An amazing question, and I thank you for allowing me the opportunity to address it..."

Sorlu says, "You see, to me it is quite simple...my personalcommitments, and my coimmitment to this town I call home, are forever one and the same. There is no conflict between the burden I carry, and my intentions for this town."

Sorlu nods at Talliver.

Sorlu glances appraisingly around the room.

Sorlu says, "Any other questions.."

Speaking melodically to Sorlu, Gespry asks, "So your allegiance and citizenship to River's Rest will be put behind the needs of Icemule? Or will you at least become an Icemulian citizen in the future?"

Gespry melodically says, "I have no doubts of your support, but some, may have questions on that simnple case."

Speaking to Gespry, Sorlu says, "River's Rest will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish nothing more than their continued success. But....my loyalty is to Icemule. This is where I call home."

Sorlu nods at Randsford.

Speaking to Sorlu, Randsford asks, "And of loyalty, what of the tablet? Will you be able to destroy it if it comes to it to save this town?"

Speaking to Randsford, Sorlu says, "I assure you, I will always do what is in the best interest of Icemule...especially when it comes.."

Sorlu closes his eyes for a moment.

Sorlu passes a hand over his fair face.

Sorlu continues, "Especially when it comes to the fate of the Tablet."

Sorlu smiles quietly to himself.

Satrn softly says, "Please expand on "your intentions for this town?"."

Speaking to Satrn, Sorlu says, "Nothing less than what I have already spoken on. My intentions is for Icemule to prosper the way it is meant to prosper. The people here deserve as much. For far too long darkness has hung over us....this darkness needs to be cleared so that life can now thrive again."

Sorlu brushes his fingers lightly against his threadbare cloak.

Reiphe says, "Thank you, Sorlu."

With straightened posture and a firm chin, Sorlu presents himself to Reiphe with a short, courteous bow.

Arianiss

Reiphe says, "Our final speaker is Arianiss."

>look at arianiss

You see Arianiss Winterfox the Town Councillor of Icemule Trace.

He appears to be an Elf.

He is average height and has a lithesome, nimble build. He appears to be youthful. He has argent-lashed vibrant cerulean blue eyes and fair skin. He has long, pale silver hair awash with twilight blue lowlights that curtains his back. He has long slender ears gently rising to a tapered point.

He has some spiraling silver and black rings dangling a tiny crescent moon in the upper ridge of his left ear.

He is in good shape.

He is wearing a crystalline snow fox pendant, an icy blue leather jacket bearing the burrows of Icemule Trace, a tiny white jade snowhare pin, a fitted black silk vest with silver buttons over a garnet silk shirt with short tailored sleeves, a heart-etched faenor engagement band, some fitted black leather pants, and some faded leather hiking boots with fur-lined cuffs.

Arianiss gently brushes his silver hair away from his eyes and, with a deft twist of his wrist, tucks it behind one ear.

Arianiss takes a few steps toward a weathered spruce podium.

Arianiss turns around.

Arianiss says, "It has taken me all night to make the decision I made."

Arianiss removes a frost blue parchment from in his blue leather jacket.

Arianiss says, "I brought my to do list, if I may be indulged..."

Arianiss taps a frost blue parchment, which is in his right hand.

Arianiss reads, "A plaque in Clovertooth with the names of metal slab donaters. Faire of the North preparations. Fix the statue. More gate guards and methods for citizens to have authority in the town guard. Kadya and her Eorgina request. Mend relations with the King of Ta'Vaalor. Create relations with other cities to elevate Icemule. What to do about the traitor now that we know who they are."

Arianiss gazes about with intense interest at his surroundings, his cerulean blue eyes pausing briefly on everything nearby.

Arianiss queries, "What does it mean to be an Icemulian?"

Arianiss paces back and forth.

Arianiss continues, "Is it spending every day in town? Exploring only the Rift? Perhaps it is making sure Icemule stands alone, glory or bust?"

(Arianiss turns, his gaze settling on you and those around you.)

Arianiss asks, "Hmm?"

Arianiss raises an eyebrow.

Arianiss says, "I hear the things that are said. I know the feelings that are felt. You cannot please everyone, but this position does have to be able to please most."

Arianiss continues, "I am not here to persuade anyone to agree with me or my methods. Rather, I am here to tell you that I have not, at any point, been disingenuous. I have not, at any point, relegated Icemule, you, to background status. Aethyra, my fiance, can certainly attest to that, much to her frustrations."

Arianiss smiles at Aethyra.

Arianiss adds, "..and yet, I am not afraid to keep doing it, to keep putting Icemule first. It is not easy at times, but that is the nature of things."

Arianiss says, "The nice thing about this is that, with me, you know what to expect. That is not to say I am inflexible, but that I will continue to balance remaining true to myself while making sure to stay true to you."

Arianiss asks, "Am I the best person to be on the Council?"

(Arianiss again sweeps his gaze across those assembled.)

Arianiss states, "Perhaps."

Arianiss shrugs.

Arianiss adds, "Perhaps not."

Arianiss says, "I feel that we have seen what works, what does not, what we prefer, and what we do not. This is the time to make your voices heard, and all I want is that you choose what you feel is best for yourself, and for Icemule."

Arianiss continues, "I am confident in my perception of myself as an Icemulian.. in the past, present, and future. I am confident in my core values. I am confident that the Council will be in good hands, and I feel that it is okay for me to sit this term out so that we can explore more styles of leadership."

Arianiss firmly says, "I withdraw my candidacy and offer luck to everyone running."

Arianiss smiles.

Arianiss graciously says, "Thank you for listening to me tonight."

Arianiss inclines his head.
