Incense is a lightly scripted item that can be purchased at both town shops and special merchant shops such as those found at festivals. Incense employs the AllMine script and cannot be picked up while lit.
Analyze
You analyze your lotus incense and sense that this item may be altered by a talented merchant, but it must remain"some <color>,<scent>,incense" to work properly. Merchants are not able to add "show" descriptions.
You can try to LIGHT, EXTINGUISH, PUNCH, KICK, PUFF, GET, DROP, SMELL, and TAP, with a hard-coded LOOK.
You get no sense of whether or not the incense may be further lightened.

Description
Incense has a hard-coded show that cannot be changed in anyway:
The lotus incense looks like it could burn for quite a long time.
When lit, the following message is included in the show:
It is presently burning.
Ambient Messages
Lit incense gives off random ambient messages to the room.
