Upon closer examination, the mulberry wax is stamped with a series of vines surrounding a single lily. When breaking the wax seal, you remove a single parchment of matching ivory vellum. Written with a practiced hand in common, the penmanship is neat and slanted.

As promised, you should be receiving word that Mayor Cruxophim has issued you and your wife, Alendrial, a full pardon to the town of Wehnimer's Landing. 


Time is of the essence in order for the rest of the plan to function fluidly. Tonight a brick written with the word "traitor" on it was thrown through the mayor's office window.  Angry citizen?  Or Rysus not thrilled with the news of your homecoming?
