The Kraet Style One-Handed Weapon is a scripted one-handed weapon associated with the Half-krolvin hailing from the Isle of Kraet. It debuted in 2021 alongside the Kraet Style Polearm Weapon and Kraet Helm at Duskruin, which was later joined by the Kraet Style Bow. It has been sold in A Kraet Deal. It was created by GM Thandiwe and GM Valyrka.
In addition to having fluff verb traps, they have fluff messaging when changing stance. STANCE VERBOSE must be active in order for the stance messaging to display.
Analyze
You take a closer look at a leaf-shaped vultite pugio with a carved tusk hilt.
You analyze the vultite pugio and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
Welcome to Kraet Style, the One-Handed Weapons Edition.
Pugio: With a leaf-shaped blade paying homage to their signature gladius graecus, the pugio is a small dagger that is often kept as a backup or surprise weapon when in battle. In the arena, the pugio may be used by itself in conjunction with a shield, or dual-wielded either with another pugio or a larger weapon. The wide, flat blade is conducive to decorative etchings, and the hilt runs the gamut from utilitarian simplicity to ornate complexity.
Now that you know a little bit about your vultite pugio and its history, here are some useful tips for using it.
The pugio is verbose in its movements in your hand, meaning you'll want to have STANCE VERBOSE active when using it. It also has access the the following verbs:
Point (Xanlin, player, creature), Push, Rub, and Wave
Alteration Instructions: The pugio must maintain its nouns and conform to the spirit of its design as outlined above.
You can tell that the pugio is as light as it can get.
