Summary

  • Motes of pale red light flutter over Lake Eonak and [[::Wehnimer's Landing|Landing]] adventurers go to inspect. Eventually a speck of red appears along the soulstone in Lylia's hand, and then another. Specks continue melting above the lake, and in time Lylia's soulstone flares up with a brilliant red light.
  • The lake waters turn pitch black and a feystone-hued light blinks into existence--then another next to it, like gemstone eyes. Then long fingers of sorts stretch up and touch the surface of the lake from beneath. Lylia walks ankle-deep into the waters, trying to communicate with the entity which might be Aralyte, but then the feystone lights dim and disappear. The soulstone fades to a more pale red. Lylia says something of her remains and this was a message.
  • Afterward, a town clerk brings a note to Mayor Leafiara, who reports that Vlashandra is saying she'll make good on returning her prisoners and Walkar's remains tomorrow evening.

A Sign of... Something

Motes of pale red light seem to flutter about above Lake Eonak.

[travel]

[Melgorehn's Reach, Lake Eonak]

You are on the bank of a beautiful mountain lake that is fed by a waterfall gushing from the mountain side. There is a path which seems to actually lead up the side of the mountain. You also see the yellow Hapenlok disk, an ember-eyed fire wyrdling, the purple Sulien disk, the Holoni disk, the violet Mekimin disk, a small raven that is flying around, a barely visible trail leading into a grove of ancient trees, a cedar chip path and a rune-covered wooden cart.

Also here: Mayor Leafiara, Hapenlok, Imperatrix Lylia, Alvyara, Ariond, Magister Raelee, Terabor, Master Sulien, Krampton, High Lady Holoni, Dame Evia, Shinann, Lady in Waiting Chandrellia, Mekimin, Kippe, Xorus

Leafiara curiously says, "Motes even now with the portal gone, hm."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "But they aren't the nice kind."

Speaking speculatively to Chandrellia, Leafiara asks, "Maybe it's the--alterations to the lake fading?"

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "True."

Mekimin theorizes, "Just lingering magical resonance?"

Speaking heartily to Sammoon, Dwi says, "Lookit alla da oldsters."

Chamorr heartily says, "Dang motes woke me up."

Speaking softly to Mekimin, Chandrellia says, "Possibly."

Roelon deeply asks, "Is that what is was?"

Tiny specks of red light float across the surface of the lake like a cloud of crimson fireflies drifting about.

Speaking heartily to Gutstorm, Dwi says, "I gots sumpthin fer ye...."

Roelon deeply asks, "Or is something in the lake?"

Sammoon asks, "Vlasdeadra back?"

Evia says, "Not fireflies for sure."

Lylia offhandedly says, "Oh, she is not dead."

Mekimin muses, "Yes, it's stirring, not fading."

Sammoon says, "She was last time I saw her."

Alvyara wryly says, "Unfortunately."

Asben whispers something to Chandrellia.

Speaking heartily to Gutstorm, Dwi says, "Will pertect yer goolies."

Speaking softly to Lylia, Chandrellia asks, "Please, please tell me you tortured her just a lot?"

Speaking to Mekimin, Leafiara says, "Well, sure, but stirring could be a purge."

Speaking brightly to Lylia, Ariond says, "It is good to see you up and around."

Lylia says, "She has been dead. She is not, at least when I last saw her."

Roelon deeply says, "Perhaps there was more to the rituals then just the portal."

Chandrellia whispers something to Asben.

Lylia smoothly says, "Of course."

Mekimin says, "Perhaps."

Lylia whispers something to Alvyara.

Gutstorm drunkenly asks, "We waitin fer Barnom Shlim da Shavior?"

Speaking to a sleek burnt caramel kodkod, Keiiko asks, "What have you been up to, eh?"

Sulien says, "How lovely."

Speaking casually to Gutstorm, Leafiara says, "I'm just here to see the odd mote phenomenon like everyone else."

A fleck of red light floating above the lake's surface melts away.

Dwi heartily says, "Lite show."

A speck of red appears along the surface of the dull white soulstone in Lylia's hand.

Speaking to Lylia, Ariond warns, "Hey, um..."

Speaking thoughtfully to himself, Kippe grunts, "Hm."

(Lylia traces a finger over the soulstone in her hand.)

Leafiara curiously says, "Oh, maybe now we'll finally learn how the reactions were created."

Roelon deeply says, "Or ...did something else come through the portal.."

Lylia sets her mouth in a thin line of disapproval.

Speaking softly to Lylia, Chandrellia exclaims, "Hold it close! It could be a good thing!"

Lylia replies, "I have held it close for years. It has never left me."

Dwi heartily says, "Imma guessin knittin needles anna bad magicks."

Asben says, "Maybe she did get out.."

Speaking to Asben, Ycelacie exclaims, "Hey!"

Speaking softly to Lylia, Chandrellia says, "No hon, really hold it close to you, place it against your skin, perhaps it's Aralyte trying to communicate."

Speaking to Lylia, Faerinn asks, "Did something happen?"

Hapenlok rummages through a silver-capped leather scroll case and removes a torn scroll from in it.

Hapenlok raises his torn scroll and gestures.

Sparks begin to fly between the torn scroll and Hapenlok's fingers.

With a sudden burst of enthusiasm, the sparks jump into Hapenlok's hand and he seems to glow with power.

Hapenlok gestures.

A sense of peace and calm settles over the area.

Speaking to Faerinn, Alvyara says, "Leafiara stuck her finger in the lake."

Speaking to Lylia, Faerinn says, "I saw lights."

Asben whispers something to Ycelacie.

The tiny red dots continue to swirl about, just barely an inch above the lake's dark waters. Another scarlet speck vanishes, and another mote of red appears along the surface of the dull white soulstone.

Speaking surprisedly to Hapenlok, Leafiara asks, "Did I--did you--did I seriously just see *you* create a sanctuary?"

Lylia says, "Lights over the lake, and lights dancing throughout..."

Speaking to Leafiara, Hapenlok says, "Yup."

Lylia brushes her fingers lightly against her white soulstone.

Speaking to Lylia, Faerinn says, "Like the ones from the soulstone not Vlashandra's."

Evia says, "Hmm."

Speaking softly to Lylia, Chandrellia exclaims, "The soulstone is collecting the motes!"

Speaking to Hapenlok, Leafiara marvels, "Will wonders never cease."

Krampton asks, "Me wonders what would happen if ya touch the soulstone to the water?"

Speaking to Chandrellia, Ariond corrects, "Mirroring the motes."

Speaking to Lylia, Faerinn says, "She cheats at cards by the way even in her current state."

Speaking to Krampton, Lylia says, "Perhaps."

Sammoon says, "Dunk it."

Lylia says, "It is not a doughnut."

Speaking frustratedly to Lylia, Hapenlok asks, "This bugs the hell out of me. Is this good or bad?"

Asben whispers something to Ycelacie.

Chandrellia softly says, "I didn't think of that, yes perhaps mirroring."

A raven asks, "Danger?"

Speaking to Lylia, Faerinn says, "I was very surprised when Nallius said he was dealing in someone else last night."

Speaking to Hapenlok, Ariond soothes, "Wait and find out."

Roelon deeply says, "Hmm.."

Lylia murmurs, "I do not know myself."

Roelon deeply says, "Just in case."

Keiiko sternly says, "Just in case...."

Lylia bites her lip.

Alvyara wearily asks, "I am exhausted. Really, what next?"

Speaking to Alvyara, Leafiara offers, "Anyone's guess is as good as anyone else's at this point."

Gutstorm carefully places a glowing-eyed lich king miniature on the ground.

Gutstorm presses the back of his lich king miniature a bit.

Speaking heartily to a beautiful mountain lake, Dwi says, "Ye put dat lake wotter inna my canteen...a crater frem here to fish town."

Speaking to Alvyara, Lylia says, "I know some of your weariness is from what she took."

Speaking softly to Alvyara, Chandrellia says, "Perhaps this is a good thing hon."

Speck after speck of red light burns away above the lake, leaving a faint crimson afterglow for the briefest of moments. Like the first two, freckles of red light slowly birth into existance within the dull white soulstone in Lylia's hand until finally it glows with a brilliant red light.

Lylia gasps.

Lylia takes a few steps back.

A raven says, "Evil thing."

Lylia raises her red soulstone skyward!

Xorus says, "Excellent."

Evia says, "Amazing."

Speaking softly to a small raven, Chandrellia exclaims, "Shush!"

The water of the lake turns pitch black.

Alvyara asks, "What's happening?"

Speaking concernedly to Lylia, Keiiko exclaims, "Be careful, dear!"

Ariond cautions, "Be careful."

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "Someone peed in da wata."

Roelon deeply says, "Perhaps the soulstone cleansed the lake...."

Thrassus says, "Interesting."

Speaking to Lylia, Hapenlok says, "Forget them. Throw caution to the wind."

Speaking to Gutstorm, Krampton says, "It would turn yellow if peed."

Speaking to Lylia, Faerinn asks, "By passion, is that what it looked like when it was alive?"

Speaking wryly to Hapenlok, Ariond teases, "Says the man who SANCTED the room."

Speaking in Faendryl, Lylia breathes something you don't understand.

Speaking curiously to Hapenlok, Leafiara asks, "Normally I approve, but what does throwing caution to the wind even look like in this case?"

Ariond says, "Speaking of which..."

Krampton says, "Lake turnin black can't be goods."

Lylia says, "It is how it looked when Aydan handed it to me."

A blot of feystone-hued light appears within the depths of the lake's shadowy waters.

Speaking to Krampton, Hapenlok says, "Actually, i thin-"

Alvyara says, "I don't understand. But it seems.. promising.."

Speaking drunkenly to Leafiara, Gutstorm exclaims, "We kin learn wunnerful fingsh like sorcery!"

Faerinn says, "Something out in the water..."

Speaking amusedly to Gutstorm, Leafiara says, "You already know that, though."

Roelon deeply says, "Hmm. Someone go swim out there and take ah look."

Sammoon says, "He swims good."

A second feystone-hued light blinks into existance. Each next to the other, twinkling like gemstone eyes.

Speaking in Faendryl, Xorus asks something you don't understand.

Krampton says, "Eyes."

Lylia's eyes well with tears as her lower lip quivers.

Krampton says, "Uggg."

Speaking sternly to Adelynn, Keiiko says, "Be at the ready. Something is happening."

Roelon deeply says, "Mah first thought.."

Roelon deeply says, "Perhaps don' go swimming then."

Speaking fervently to Keiiko, Adelynn replies, "Thank you."

Mekimin anxiously whispers aloud, "What is it?"

(Hapenlok taps his runetaff on the ground as he turns to face the lake.)

Sammoon asks, "Crocigators?"

Roelon deeply says, "Careful..if they are eyes, there could be ah mouth."

Hapenlok glances at Leafiara.

Chamorr heartily says, "Perhaps Barnom Slim wasn't the only one to slip through the portal."

Speaking to Hapenlok, Leafiara admits, "No idea."

Adelynn whispers something to Chandrellia.

Speaking softly to Roelon, Chandrellia says, "Not all dark is evil and not all light is good."

Speaking heartily to Roelon, Dwi says, "Dis lake aint fer swimmin..is fer coolin off yer work."

Speaking wryly to Chandrellia, Ariond says, "Interesting observation."

Hapenlok commands, "Everyone relax. Just stop ....fidgeting about."

Roelon deeply says, "Or maybe something returns to us as promised. Hrm."

Hapenlok says, "I don't think this is going to kill us."

Speaking in Faendryl, Lylia calls something you don't understand.

Hapenlok says, "...probably not, anyway."

Razanetika just arrived.

Gutstorm takes quick aim at Razanetika and pulls the silver lever on the monir water cannon!

With a click and a loud *WHOOSH*, a torrent of water hurtles out of the cannon directly at her! The spray hits Razanetika right in the shoulder with a loud *SPLAT*!

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "Yer late."

Leafiara agrees, "Oh, if two nights ago didn't kill us, this sure won't. ...whatever it is."

Razanetika softly says, "What's new."

Speaking lightly to Hapenlok, Ariond suggests, "Why don't you swim out and see what it is so we know for sure."

Speaking in Giantman, Evia says something you don't understand.

Keiiko confidently says, "I don't feel we will be so lucky."

(Lylia stares out over the water, seemingly oblivious to anything else around her.)

Speaking to Ariond, Hapenlok says, "It's cold. I don't want to get wet."

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "Unnershtood da blah blah."

Speaking brightly to Hapenlok, Ariond encourages, "There you go. Get going!"

Terabor asks, "Did Aralyte have feystone hued eyes?"

Xorus says, "Yes."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "Watch Lylia if the lake calls to her and she goes that may be a bad thing."

A bubble appears on the surface of the lake.

Lylia nods at Terabor.

Speaking to Ariond, Hapenlok says, "I'm lazy. I'd prefer for it to come to us. Now stop casting spells on me."

Evia says, "Bubble bubble."

Ariond ominously remarks, "Whatever it is, it's definitely coming to us."

Chandrellia recites softly:

"Bubble, bubble

Toil and trouble"

Speaking to Ariond, Hapenlok says, "I've got a feeling about this."

Hapenlok says, "And I'm cautiously optimistic."

Speaking to Hapenlok, Ariond says, "Is it anxie-oh."

Speaking to Hapenlok, Keiiko asks, "You have *a feeling*, hmm?"

Ariond reasonably says, "We'll find out."

Speaking drunkenly to Razanetika, Gutstorm says, "Perty firm huh, me been doin sit-ups."

Lylia rests a gentle hand on Xorus's arm.

Lylia takes a pair of obsidian vruul skin knee-boots set on spliced lor heels off her feet.

Lylia put a pair of obsidian vruul skin knee-boots set on spliced lor heels in her wrap.

Hapenlok says, "More like an educated guess."

Speaking drunkenly to Lylia, Gutstorm says, "Shlowly...."

Chandrellia tickles Adelynn into laughing.

Hapenlok says, "And besides. I'm not the one who needs to be going out there."

Speaking to Lylia, Alvyara asks, "You're not going in, are you?"

Adelynn demands, "Stop it!"

Chandrellia whispers something to Adelynn.

What appears to be slender, but long fingers stretch up and touch the surface of the lake, from beneath. They appear elven, but unnaturally longer. A finger or two may be missing, or perhaps just obscured in the darkness around it. They feystone lights flash for a moment then begin to dim.

Speaking indignantly to Leafiara, Adelynn explains, "She was tickling me."

(Lylia walks a few paces closer to the lake until the dark waters are up to her ankles. Her lips move as if speaking, but what she says is lost in the wind.)

Sammoon says, "Yeah."

Speaking sternly to Adelynn, Hapenlok says, "This needs to be done."

Sammoon says, "Go swimmin."

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "Bah itsh an elf."

Sammoon says, "No."

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "Who hash time for an elf."

Roelon deeply says, "Hmm..."

Gidma says, "I d'no think dats normal."

Speaking to Hapenlok, Adelynn asks, "Tickling me needs to be done?"

Speaking to Adelynn, Hapenlok says, "Oh, I missed that."

Lylia raises her hand.

The fingers curl away, sinking back into the depths of the water as the feystone lights dim to dark to disappearing entirely.

Lylia tilts her red soulstone side to side, making the light play off it.

Speaking to Adelynn, Hapenlok says, "I thought you were talking about her going swimming."

Speaking to Lylia, Ariond warns, "Lylia, be careful..."

Leafiara ruefully says, "...oh."

Lylia smiles at Cruxophim.

Speaking amusedly to Ariond, Cruxophim reminds, "Fortune favors the bold."

Lylia turns around.

Speaking to a beautiful mountain lake, Evia exclaims, "Who goes there!"

Sammoon asks, "Is Eonak gonna be ticked with what der doin to his lake?"

The red light of Lylia's soulstone fades from brilliant to a pale hue. But the white does not return.

Leafiara says, "Well, that... looked promising for a few seconds, at least--"

Terabor says, "It is dying."

Faerinn yells, "Aralyte, we've been waiting for you."

Lylia says, "Something of her remains. This was a message."

Speaking softly to Lylia, Chandrellia says, "Go to the edge of the lake dear, she if she comes to you."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Ycelacie asks, "Are you going to help us?"

Lylia turns around.

Dwi heartily asks, "Raise yer hand if'n ye gots a clue wot da plan is?"

Alvyara quietly says, "A saddening one."

The dark of the lake bleeds away, returning to the murky waters that reflect the pale of the moon and stars above.

Lylia lets out a long, contemplative breath.

Dwi heartily says, "Figgerd."

Lylia rests a gentle hand on Chandrellia's arm.

Speaking to Lylia, Faerinn asks, "Still trapped then? Or elsewhere?"

Lylia hugs Chandrellia, who wraps her in a warm embrace.

Speaking in Faendryl, Thrassus says something you don't understand.

Speaking to a beautiful mountain lake, Keiiko murmurs, "So close..."

Mekimin muses, "I thought the portal gone, but I suppose it lingers."

Speaking softly to Lylia, Chandrellia says, "It'll be ok, she knows you still hold her close to you, she has hope."

Asben says, "Closer..."

Leafiara tentatively says, "Is she... did she get out and now dwells in the lake? Or..."

Lylia admits, "I do not know yet. I know only that she is not completely consumed. And the lake...we have seen it used as a mirror, as a portal, who is to say it could not still contain echoes?"

Alvyara says, "I don't know. But not that, I don't think."

Chamorr heartily says, "Maybe she has found peace."

Dwi heartily says, "Lakes are leaky dwellins."

Speaking reasonably to Leafiara, Ariond says, "That doesn't seem to make sense."

Cruxophim gently muses, "Patience in all things."

Speaking to himself, Asben says, "She's trapped somewhere..."

Evia asks, "Some...essence...of her. I guess?"

Lylia closes her eyes for a moment.

Speaking to Leafiara, Keiiko soothes, "I don't believe she made it back..."

Speaking calmly to Lylia, Cruxophim concludes, "Hope springs eternal, then."

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara reasons, "Well, it makes as much sense to me as her somehow piercing between worlds on her own after the portal was closed..."

Lylia nods at Faerinn.

Lylia nods at Thrassus.

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "Perhaps the blood and the other essences that flowed into the lake were enough to do this along with Vlashandra reading to open the portal. She may have been opening one in the lake as well."

Xorus says, "The soulstone is a conduit between worlds, and this lake has been made into a black portal to the shadow realm in the past."

Lylia nods at Xorus.

Alvyara murmurs, "I don't know what I saw, but I know it was something remarkable."

Speaking affably to Xorus, Cruxophim speculates, "Perhaps... an echo, at the very least."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "She may have not even realized what she was doing as her focus was on Barnom."

(Lylia winds the frayed cord of the soulstone around her wrist with a practiced gesture and holds it in her palm.)

Xorus says, "Drawn to her soulstone like a beacon."

Speaking heartily to Cruxophim, Dwi asks, "An echo, at the very least?"

Lylia nods at Roelon.

Speaking deeply to Xorus, Roelon says, "An anchor and ah beacon perhaps."

Speaking to Gutstorm, Sulien asks, "Are you alright there?"

Speaking to Dwi, Sulien asks, "Are you alright there?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Ariond reasons, "This lake, the Reach so close...it's a nexus, now. It has been for a long time."

Speaking heartily to Sulien, Dwi says, "Dunno why I said dat."

Speaking to Leafiara, Ariond reminds, "The Ithzir."

Sulien says, "Sorry there, I'm high strung."

Lylia nods at Roelon.

Mongonator sings thunderously:

"1011"

Mongonator changes his tune, adding a new element to his song...

Mongonator skillfully begins to weave another verse into his harmony.

A sense of peace and calm settles over the area.

Speaking amusedly to Ycelacie, Cruxophim scolds, "You keep looking at me oddly. Who are you?"

Speaking heartily to Mongonator, Dwi says, "Worst song e'er."

Mongonator says, "I know."

As For Tomorrow...

A town clerk arrives, carrying Leafiara a note. She runs off. [no idea what the actual third person messaging was; just going with this]

Speaking heartily to Mongonator, Dwi says, "Ye should do da one bout da duck."

Speaking to Dwi, Mekimin corrects, "Experimental."

Leafiara nods absently.

Lylia shows Xorus her red soulstone.

Speaking uncertainly to Leafiara, Ariond asks, "Mayor?"

Alvyara asks, "We don't know what to do now, do we? Is there a way to find out?"

Xorus says, "This looks promising."

Leafiara says, "Just a brief note..."

Speaking sternly to Leafiara, Keiiko asks, "What news?"

Speaking in Faendryl, Xorus says something you don't understand.

Speaking to Raelee, Evia asks, "Any inkling?"

Leafiara informs, "Vlashandra's going to make good on her promises with the prisoners on Tilamaires."

Speaking to Alvyara, Lylia says, "I do not know, to be blunt. I dislike not knowing, but at least I can correct it."

Speaking calmly to Ycelacie, Cruxophim scolds, "You shouldn't wave things at people."

Leafiara adds, "...assuming we can believe it this time, of course."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "So, Blackwing....seems like you and I are going to have to have a chat."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Ycelacie says, "You shouldn't play with fire."

Speaking to Leafiara, Alvyara asks, "What did she promise?"

Leafiara suddenly says, "Oh, and Walkar's remains."

Speaking to Evia, Raelee says, "I have nothing to add that Lylia has not already expressed."

Speaking to Alvyara, Leafiara says, "The return of Cordarius and, we think, Octaven."

Speaking heartily to Hapenlok, Dwi asks, "Ye likes donuts too?"

Leafiara mumbles, "Would have been fine with her keeping Octaven, but..."

Sammoon asks, "Lettin em out a good thing?"

Speaking determinedly to Lylia, Cruxophim speculates, "If Vlashandra was able to open the portal, then so, too, can we. One day."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Faerinn says, "Oh that's the worse don't let him do something so dastardly to you."

Speaking to Leafiara, Alvyara says, "I'm not sure I'm excited about that, but I suppose they deserve to be let go."

Leafiara nods at Alvyara.

Lylia says, "I intend to. We know more now than we did before."

Leafara looks thoughtfully at Roelon.

Speaking vengefully to Lylia, Cruxophim vows, "We will get her back. One day. No matter how difficult the road."

Leafiara nods at Cruxophim.

Xorus asks, "Where did Vlashandra get Walkar's remains?"

Speaking to Lylia, Faerinn says, "A bigger and better portal than she could ever back."

Lylia says, "Seven years or seventy."

Speaking to Xorus, Leafiara says, "She never really said."

Speaking pointedly to Cruxophim, Hapenlok asks, "Because you have what you want. don't you?"

Thrassus says, "They were hidden in the Outpost I believe."

Xorus says, "The timing on that is odd."

Speaking to Xorus, Leafiara says, "Just that Raznel left behind things she shouldn't have..."

Speaking amicably to Lylia, Cruxophim muses, "I've got time."

Lylia says, "She said little. Even when I invited her to speak more."

Faerinn says, "She hinted from Raznel in the outpost."

Leafiara nods at Lylia.

Lylia gazes fondly at Cruxophim.

Leafiara agrees, "She did imply the outpost, but also left it vague enough that it might not have been. We'll have to ask again."

Xorus says, "Dennet and Reannah should be under the rubble there somewhere."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Ycelacie says, "I'll be watching you."

Sammoon says, "Ain't sure we should trust her."

Speaking calmly to Ycelacie, Cruxophim responds, "Okay. Hope you like what you see."

Speaking wryly to Raelee, Leafiara says, "Honestly, you all in the Hall need to get your secret chambers and such sorted out at some point."

Sammoon says, "Shady methinks."

Dwi heartily says, "Still a good lake."

Speaking drunkenly to Dwi, Gutstorm says, "Drink from da lake."

Alvyara says, "It was wondrous though. Wasn't it? I've never seen the like."

Speaking to Leafiara, Ariond says, "These are a lot of names I don't recognize."

Speaking simply to Leafiara, Raelee states, "They are, as far as I am concerned."

Dwi heartily says, "Aint fer drinkin..."

Leafiara peers quizzically at Raelee.

Sammoon says, "Crocigators."

Speaking curiously to Raelee, Leafiara asks, "Then why didn't someone find Walkar's remains before now?"

Speaking to Alvyara, Lylia says, "It was."

Cruxophim offers Ycelacie a bacon-wrapped blood pudding donut.

Ycelacie accepts Cruxophim's blood pudding donut.

Speaking affably to Ycelacie, Cruxophim offers, "Have a donut."

Speaking softly to Cruxophim, Chandrellia says, "Thank you."

Sammoon asks, "Donut?"

Lylia nods at Shinann.

Speaking sweetly to a sleek burnt caramel kodkod, Keiiko says, "No, you do not need a donut."

Sammoon says, "I had coffee around somewhere."

Speaking to Thrassus, Raelee asks, "Were you suggesting Walkar's remains were in the Outpost?"

Evia says, "Vlashandra was saying, during the first ritual I think, that 'a bridge' was being created. Maybe somehow, something was able to use that bridge. Just thinking aloud."

Thrassus says, "Hidden away, perhaps."

Speaking to Evia, Lylia says, "I wonder too. We saw no sign of Aralyte. I do not know if that means she saw no sign of us."

Lylia nods slowly at Shinann.

Cruxophim wryly jokes, "What we need is a bloodhound."

Gutstorm drunkenly exclaims, "He in da frak inn!"

Sammoon exclaims, "Puppy!"

Speaking to Lylia, Faerinn says, "I imagine it was just as loud on that side when it opened as it was here."

Speaking to Raelee, Thrassus says, "There seems to be quite a few places to hide things in there."

Speaking to Raelee, Leafiara says, "Well, she did vaguely imply that they were in the outpost... it's easy to see why others would think it, because it was right after she said the outpost has hosted a lot of secrets."

Speaking softly to Lylia, Chandrellia says, "I think she sensed you looking for her dear, and that is why she reaches out to you tonight to give you hope that she is still around."

Leafiara clarifies, "But she never explicitly said they were there, to be fair."

Xorus says, "Next time we go for her, we should focus on that cavern."

Speaking seriously to Cruxophim, Keiiko says, "Be careful, she's known to bite."

Speaking silkily to Keiiko, Cruxophim purrs, "Oh good."

Evia says, "Mmph headache."

Speaking to Leafiara, Ariond suggests, "So why don't we question Vlashandra again?"

Leafiara grins at Evia.

Lylia replies, "I have never lost hope. I was furious but not despairing."

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara says, "Oh, we will."

Leafiara nods at Ariond.

Lylia quietly says, "Feeling a good bit better now."

Speaking darkly to Ariond, Cruxophim muses, "She's not going anywhere."

Speaking demurely to Ariond, Keiiko says, "And see why the connection failed."

Speaking drunkenly to Leafiara, Gutstorm asks, "More of da kill firsht ashk queshtionsh later tacticsh?"

Dwi heartily asks, "When was ye furry?"

Speaking hopefully to Gutstorm, Leafiara says, "Ideally."

Faerinn says, "Maybe it was just part of the stuff Vlashandra and Octaven brought with them to the outpost. Like those bane coffins from the yard sale."

Speaking to Lylia, Ariond says, "When? If she's to make good on her promises tomorrow...."

Speaking to a massive snowy white tiger, Terabor says, "I taste really bad."

Speaking pointedly to Cruxophim, Hapenlok asks, "Where do you stand, these days Cruxophim?"

Alvyara says, "I should be a good girl and go to bed."

Leafiara glances between Hapenlok and Cruxophim.

Raelee admits, "I suppose Raznel could have relocated them there. It seems probable that if anyone moved them, it was her."

Discussion Afterward

Speaking curiously to Hapenlok, Cruxophim inquires, "On what?"

Speaking coyly to Alvyara, Adelynn teases, "Where's the fun in that?"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Faerinn whispers aloud, "Say on legs."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "You bent the knee to Slim before. You were one of his chosen."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "And now he's back."

Speaking slowly to Hapenlok, Cruxophim whispers aloud, "On legs."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok asks, "What's to stop us from throwing you in a mithril cage?"

Speaking drunkenly to Cruxophim, Gutstorm says, "Big fan meshelf."

Speaking to Dwi, Lylia says, "Furious, not furry."

Speaking heartily to Lylia, Dwi says, "Oh."

Lylia removes a pair of obsidian vruul skin knee-boots set on spliced lor heels from in her wrap.

Sammoon asks, "Like a birdcage?"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Leafiara says, "I do have to say, you're more of a leader than a follower. At least these days--can't really speak to back then."

Lylia slips a pair of obsidian vruul skin knee-boots set on spliced lor heels onto her feet. They appear to fit perfectly.

Speaking reasonably to Cruxophim, Ariond admits, "I must say, I've been rather curious about where you are with all of this as well."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok asks, "Or a bane coffin?"

Speaking casually to Hapenlok, Cruxophim reminds, "Same thing that's stopping us from thowing you in one, shorty."

Sammoon says, "Dat be a big cage."

Evia says, "Can't help but wonder if it has something to do with the conducting of those first two rituals, along with the proximity of both Lylia, and the soulstone. Well. I donno. No wonder I have a headache, too much wondering."

Speaking suddenly to Cruxophim, Leafiara asks, "Oh, before I forget, do you remember why he wanted to attack Ta'Vaalor?"

Speaking soothingly to Hapenlok, Ariond says, "A bane coffin is not necessary."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok asks, "Because that little job I did for you three years ago, I feel like it led us to the previous night?"

Speaking drunkenly to Lylia, Gutstorm says, "Should alwaysh shniff da bootsh before ye pootsh em back on to make shore dey ish clean."

Speaking curtly to Cruxophim, Keiiko says, "You do seem to be playing the lines here."

Speaking amusedly to Leafiara, Cruxophim notes, "You taste like marshmallows."

Speaking curiously to Keiiko, Cruxophim inquires, "How so?"

Speaking amusedly to Cruxophim, Leafiara assures, "I do try."

Speaking to Evia, Lylia says, "I know little more than you at this point. But I know that I can know more. It is something. It is a great deal, in fact."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Ariond explains, "You still bear the mark, yes? You were quite agreeable with Slim the other night."

Speaking indifferently to Hapenlok, Cruxophim implores, "It's just funny how these things work out."

Speaking to Gutstorm, Lylia says, "They only left my feet for a moment and were in my wrap. They could not have gotten soiled."

Speaking arrogantly to Cruxophim, Keiiko asks, "Were you not on the other side? Do you not still bear the mark?"

Thrassus says, "He seemed an affable enough fellow to me."

Speaking calmly to Ariond, Cruxophim assures, "Oh, make no mistake. I do not work for Barnom Slim."

Sammoon says, "I thought the bad guy was Vlashandra, not Cruxophim."

Speaking rudely to Cruxophim, Keiiko asks, "What have you done to show your intentions are true of helping us?"

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "With and for are two different wordsh."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Ariond asks, "And when he calls for the assistance of those he marked?"

Speaking dryly to Keiiko, Cruxophim suggests, "Ask anyone who was in the Shadow Realm about their wounds."

Faerinn says, "Well we've moved to the baseless accusation portion of the night."

Dwi heartily says, "Tree anna fore is differnt nummers."

Speaking to Faerinn, Lylia says, "As is custom."

Speaking offhandedly to Cruxophim, Leafiara says, "I do still want to know why he wanted to attack Ta'Vaalor and if there's any chance he wants to go after the outpost, but you're fielding too many questions already, so another time."

Speaking to Keiiko, Ariond concedes, "Cruxophim did care for all of us over there."

Faerinn says, "So it's time for bed for the grand standing and empty gestures."

Speaking to Leafiara, Xorus says, "He offered them an alliance and they impolitely refused."

Dwi heartily says, "Tree socks is a waste...fore socks issa weekend."

Speaking firmly to Ariond, Cruxophim repeats, "I. Do. Not. Work for him. Any longer."

Speaking gratefully to Xorus, Leafiara says, "Ah, excellent, thank you."

Ariond concedes, "Very well."

Chandrellia softly exclaims, "Look, rather then accuse or point fingers of someone past, lok at the present!"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok asks, "It doesn't matter at this point. Aand I'm sure I'm not going to get a straight answer from you anyhow...but when you went over there. Did you know there was a possiblity that Slim was being brought back?"

Holoni says, "If things like this are still happening to the lake after the ritual, what's to stop beings with less than honorable intentions from still coming through, just trying to think worst case scenario."

Speaking wryly to Leafiara, Cruxophim admits, "He's insane. There may be no reason, but I'd be happy to discuss another evening."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "At least answer me that."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Ariond says, "I've seen you care for this town as its mayor, and I've worked with you in battle often enough. I trust you."

Speaking calmly to Hapenlok, Cruxophim answers, "Nope."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Keiiko submits, "Fine then, if Ariond trusts you, I suppose I do as well."

Gutstorm drunkenly asks, "Barnom is yooz a lissnin?"

Speaking to Gutstorm, Leafiara says, "If Vlashandra's coming tomorrow in person--and I don't know if she will be or not--then maybe he'll be there too."

Chandrellia softly says, "We all have a past every single one of us, mine isn't perfect, people can change if they want to, people can walk the line as close as they want, it doesn't make them any less of or better than anyone else."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok asks, "And one last question. After all you've accomplished as this town's Mayor...do you still wish to serve the Lich King?"

Speaking calmly to Leafiara, Cruxophim assures, "I work for the Landing now."

Lylia says, "Or if we do look at the past, then why not look at the tenure of our former mayor, the heroic efforts he made to spare the town many horrors, the times he has saved so many of us."

Sammoon exclaims, "Coffee!"

Leafiara says, "Or maybe she'll just send Cordarius back without coming herself... we'll have to see."

Speaking heartily to Cruxophim, Dwi says, "Granpappy would say..c'mere boy so's I kin throw ye...dat's how he figgerd trust."

Speaking to Leafiara, Lylia says, "She may still be feeling indisposed."

Speaking to Lylia, Cruxophim assures, "I'm used to it, it's fine."

Speaking quietly to Cruxophim, Nightflame asks, "What's a matter wid exploring yer wild side once in a while, slim didn't win any wars or anything, so your cavorting was purely Hedonistic...right?"

Ariond adds, "It speaks volumes that miss Lylia endorses Cruxophim so strongly as well."

Speaking to Lylia, Xorus says, "It does not look charged enough for opening a portal. But it might be strong enough to remain a beacon for her."

Speaking lightly to Lylia, Cruxophim inquires, "Recovering?"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Lylia says, "I know. I know a thing or two about it too."

Lylia says, "Mm-hmmm."

Speaking to Xorus, Lylia says, "That is my hope. I still need to know more. Signs and portents; it is hard to know more solid truths."

Speaking amusedly to Cruxophim, Leafiara says, "Hey, if he'd offered me a chance at taking down Vaalor back then, I would have taken it too. Don't worry."

Speaking to Dwi, Sammoon says, "I'm a monk."

Sammoon says, "Monk, rock."

Speaking nonchalantly to Leafiara, Cruxophim grumbles, "You may yet have a chance, who knows?"

Speaking heartily to Sammoon, Dwi says, "Yer a stachoo."

Sammoon says, "Quite similar."

Speaking drunkenly to Dwi, Gutstorm says, "Sammy got a head as hard as da fat guy over dere."

Speaking lightly to Leafiara, Cruxophim confesses, "Can't say as I'd complain, in that case."

Ariond hurriedly states, "A war with the Elven Nations is definitely not something we need."

Speaking softly to Lylia, Keiiko recommends, "Do you think you might try again to bring her back?"

Speaking to Keiiko, Lylia says, "It is nothing I personally could do. But is it something many of us could continue to work for? Yes. Of course."

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "Raz, come out a sec, me got a gift."

Speaking quietly to Gutstorm, Dwi says, "Seems da oldsters is agreed to make up a story bout how dey always agreed."

Speaking reassuringly to Lylia, Ariond offers, "Whatever I can do to support your efforts, miss Lylia, please do not hesitate to ask."

Lylia says, "All the reasons to seek her with Vlashandra," she says, fairly spitting the woman's name, "remain as pressing now as they ever did."

Speaking drunkenly to Dwi, Gutstorm exclaims, "No one ish shafe!"

Lylia says, "Thank you, truly."

Chamorr heartily says, "This aint over, it seems."

Speaking drunkenly to Lylia, Gutstorm exclaims, "Duck!"

Keiiko rebuts, "Why must it wait? Why do we not take this to Vlashandra this instant?"

Speaking to Chamorr, Leafiara agrees, "Well, she's still alive and has information we need to know, so... no, definitely not over."

Speaking casually to Hapenlok, Cruxophim reminds, "I did try and help you. No sense in not getting some good out of a bad situation."

Speaking in Guildspeak, Gutstorm drunkenly exclaims something you don't understand.

Speaking heartily to Leafiara, Chamorr says, "Yup."

Speaking diplomatically to Keiiko, Cruxophim implies, "You... may not get a comprehensible answer."

Ariond says, "I must say, I'm also wondering that myself."

Speaking in Guildspeak, Lylia says something you don't understand.

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Chandrellia asks, "Oohh pick me pick me I wanna see her get questioned, please?"

Ariond lightly remarks, "Oh."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Leafiara says, "She might be here tomorrow if she comes in person with Cordarius, so..."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Leafiara suggests, "Be here tomorrow?"

Speaking diplomatically to Ariond, Cruxophim soothes, "I'm sure in time."

Speaking affably to Ariond, Cruxophim muses, "I'll bring my good apron, and patch her up."

Speaking crassly to Cruxophim, Keiiko asks, "What has been done to her?"

Speaking curiously to Keiiko, Leafiara asks, "Does it matter?"

Speaking nonchalantly to Keiiko, Cruxophim guesses, "Punishment."

Speaking delicately to Keiiko, Ariond soothes, "I'm not sure you want an answer to that."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Chandrellia exclaims, "Oh bet my cute little butt I'll be here!"

Speaking drunkenly in Guildspeak to his blood pudding donut, Gutstorm says something you don't understand.

Speaking coldly to Keiiko, Cruxophim reminds, "No one crosses the Landing."

Speaking lightly to Keiiko, Cruxophim adds, "Pun intended."

Speaking coolly to Leafiara, Keiiko says, "Only that we keep her sane enough to answer our questions. Nothing more, my Major."

Speaking lightly to Cruxophim, Ariond jokes, "Except Elithain."

Speaking mischievously to Keiiko, Leafiara says, "Well, fair enough."

Speaking mischievously to Ariond, Cruxophim admits, "Glad someone got it."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "Well, I don't have a whole lot more to say on this matter. Except that on this Slim problem...I expect that we'll be opposing each other soon enough."

Speaking to Hapenlok, Ariond says, "If you stand with the town, then I do not think you will."

Ariond reiterates, "I believe Cruxophim will continue to act in the Landing's best interests, as he has done for years now."

Speaking defensively to Hapenlok, Keiiko asks, "He has said which side he is on. Do you disagree?"

Speaking to Keiiko, Hapenlok adds, "For the moment, yes he has."

Speaking gently to Hapenlok, Cruxophim reminds, "We'll deal with Barnom in due time."

Hapenlok says, "That's a question I've asked myself a lot over the years with you, Blackwing."

Hapenlok says, "Which side are you on? For the moment."

Cruxophim surreptitiously wonders, "Although... this might be an opportunity."

Leafiara says, "I mean, assuming Barnom wants something more than just returning to Lich's Landing, anyway."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Ariond asks, "An opportunity for what?"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "Considering me, you and Goblyn ..rebuilt his obelisk for him."

Speaking thoughtfully to Hapenlok, Cruxophim implies, "He has no reason to think that I'm not his thrall."

Speaking casually to Leafiara, Ariond asks, "How do you think Goblyn will react to such an attempt?"

Lylia notes, "He was woefully under-informed about current events. As he would be, of course."

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara acknowledges, "I'm not sure. He seems like the type she might like."

Speaking delicately to Hapenlok, Cruxophim muses, "That could be a beneficial position to be in."

Speaking softly to Hapenlok, Chandrellia says, "Which side is anyone on for the moment, things can change in an instant Hap, for all we know you culd get turned against the town, heaven forbid of course but still, all we have is what is in front of us right now."

Speaking understandingly to Cruxophim, Ariond says, "You're suggesting you work undercover."

Speaking wryly to Ariond, Cruxophim admits, "I've done stranger."

Gutstorm exclaims, "I win!"

Cruxophim amicably concludes, "We'll see how things unfold. Am I to understand Vlashandra is to be questioned tomorrow?"

Speaking wryly to Cruxophim, Ariond teases, "I cannot believe you have ever done anything strange your entire life."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Leafiara says, "Possibly... depends whether she shows in person."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok asks, "How'd you ever wind up bending the knee to him anyway, back then?"

Leafiara concludes, "The maing thing she's claiming is the return of the prisoners and Walkar's remains."

Lylia asks, "We have hopes of seeing Cordarius tomorrow, perhaps?"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Keiiko says, "Please believe that is not something we want you to do."

Lylia says, "I see."

Speaking to Leafiara, Ariond concludes, "Well, there is one person who has control of that."

Speaking casually to Hapenlok, Cruxophim remarks, "Not that I had a choice, not that anyone cared."

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara reasons, "She might just send them to us but refuse to show herself. No real telling."

Ariond wryly says, "Unless she has given up her animate, which I doubt."

Speaking softly to Hapenlok, Chandrellia says, "Does it matter, its in the past."

Speaking drunkenly to Cruxophim, Gutstorm asks, "Did he teach yooz any shekritsh yooz kin share wif me?"

Speaking smoothly to Hapenlok, Cruxophim assures, "Things..."

Speaking coldly to Hapenlok, Cruxophim concludes, "Have changed."

Leafiara musesa, "I'd probably refuse to show myself if I were her. Definitely wouldn't try entering town, at least."

Speaking to Leafiara, Ariond asks, "Why do you want Walkar's remains, anyway?"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "That could either be the first truthful thing you've said all night? Or I could still be in a long con."

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara admits, "Makes no difference to me, but some people want his grave to be... undesecrated, I suppose."

Lylia says, "She may need some time to recover from her ordeals. Opening portals and restoring a lich must be taxing."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "Well."

Speaking to Leafiara, Ariond says, "I can see how that might be important to some folks."

Speaking sardonically to Lylia, Cruxophim jests, "Tell me about it."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "Mayor I will see you tomorrow definitely."

Leafiara says, "I figure dead is dead--he's not in a position to care if his body's in his grave or not."

Speaking softly to Cruxophim, Chandrellia says, "See you soon Crux."

Leafiara says, "But... burial practices and traditions and all."

Speaking hesitantly to Lylia, Ariond asks, "You do...still have her animated, yes?"

Adelynn whispers something to Chandrellia.

Lylia replies, "She is not beyond the Gate, nor beyond the reach of taking action or of answering questions."

Leafiara hopefully asks, "Is she missing her limbs?"

Lylia smoothly says, "None of us are savages. Not even Blade Brutish, despite his colorful nickname."

Speaking to Leafiara, Lylia says, "She was. And then was not...and then was again."

Speaking to Lylia, Ariond clarifies, "Can you not compel her to appear, is what I was getting at."

Lylia says, "Oh. No, she is not my minion to compel or not. I am not Vlashandra; I honor the words I speak, and I told Barnom Slim I would return his creature shortly."

Hapenlok whispers something to Leafiara.

Cruxophim affably declares, "On that note, I should be getting back to work."

Speaking softly to Lylia, Chandrellia says, "I still want her face on my wall so I can throw darts at it."

Speaking to Lylia, Ariond asks, "Is that not handing him some advantage?"

Speaking coldly to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "We'll speak again on this matter, I'm sure."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Ariond offers, "A pleasure, as always."

Speaking concernedly to Lylia, Keiiko asks, "How... Shortly?"

Cruxophim affably assures, "Likewise."

Speaking to Ariond, Lylia says, "Sometimes we concede some advantage to gain others."

Cruxophim affably states, "I'll leave some donuts in Town Square."

Speaking softly to Cruxophim, Chandrellia asks, "Might I have one now?"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "As of right now? I'd just as soon prefer you did nothing. But you're going to do as you will, as will I."

Speaking indifferently to Hapenlok, Cruxophim offers, "I could still figure something out, if you want."

Terabor says, "Thank you."

Speaking politely to Hapenlok, Cruxophim states, "I'm a resourceful creature."

Speaking to Lylia, Ariond says, "I will trust your judgment. I know little of Vlashandra."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "On that matter? No."

Speaking softly to Ariond, Chandrellia says, "As did I but my eyes were soon opened but it was too late."

Gutstorm drunkenly exclaims, "Danksh!"

Lylia says, "I know little of her still, but I shall know more."

Lylia says, "We all shall."

Hapenlok says, "On the matter of the Lich Thing? ..."

Speaking suddenly to Ariond, Leafiara says, "Oh, before I forget, you were saying that many of the names were unfamiliar to you... Octaven is a Grand Magister who we've had an on and off relationship with, and Cordarius is a Magister who Jovery appointed to our town council as regional envoy."

Hapenlok says, "Oh, nevermind. I took too long a dramatic pause."

Lylia hisses, "I know the shape of her bones beneath her skin, though."

Keiiko concedes, "Until tomorrow then, I suppose?"

Ariond curiously asks, "How did they come to be prisoners, and of whom?"

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara says, "Obviously more history to both, but that's the gist of it..."

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara says, "Of Vlashandra, but the how we don't know yet."

Speaking to Lylia, Hapenlok says, "So, yeah....interesting night, so far."

Speaking to Lylia, Hapenlok says, "I hate tea. But that was good tea."

Hapenlok grimaces as he quickly grabs at his left leg!

Lylia says, "We agree on that. And on the tea."

Speaking concernedly to Hapenlok, Keiiko asks, "Are you alright?"

Hapenlok grimaces as he quickly grabs at his chest!

Hapenlok hisses, "...the hell."

From behind Hapenlok, Cruxophim's voice lightly echoes, "Oh, and another thing..."

Thrassus asks, "Oh! Someone found his doll Raznel had, perhaps?"

Speaking dubiously to Hapenlok, Cruxophim inquires, "You alright?"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "...no."

Speaking wryly to Keiiko, Cruxophim states, "Not me."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok hisses, ".....what."

Keiiko rudely exclaims, "Come out!"

Speaking softly to Keiiko, Chandrellia says, "They aren't here dear."

Nightflame quietly says, "We definitely need to get you close to Barnom."

Speaking curiously to Nightflame, Leafiara asks, "Who?"

Speaking to Chandrellia, Keiiko says, "I saw a man hiding. Invisible."

Speaking quietly to Leafiara, Nightflame says, "Crux."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok hisses, "I will never....allow my self to be further tainted with shadow."

Cruxophim pleasantly wishes, "Night all. Make sure this one doesn't fall in the lake."

Cruxophim nods once at Hapenlok.

Speaking to Xorus, Lylia says, "We should celebrate."

Speaking amusedly to Nightflame, Leafiara says, "Oh, undoubtedly."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok hisses, "We do it the old fashioned way. We find the person who has it, and kill him."

Speaking softly to Keiiko, Chandrellia says, "Whoever has this doll that tortures Hap so, won't show their face even thru spells."

Speaking surreptitiously to Hapenlok, Cruxophim reminds, "Well, that's one way."

Motes of silvery light sparkle across Ariond's skin, twinkling like stars, as he prepares a spell...

Ariond gestures.

Perchta is discovered by Ariond!

Speaking in Faendryl, Perchta hoarsely says something you don't understand.

Keiiko exclaims, "Her!"

Ariond says, "Stay put."

Perchta tilts her head slightly and stares straight ahead as she murmurs softly under her breath...

Perchta gestures.

Perchta suddenly disappears.

Speaking in Faendryl, the voice of Perchta says something you don't understand.

Leafiara amusedly says, "It's a free town, and even freer out in the wilderness. She can do whatever she wants."

Keiiko says, "They are gone."

Speaking wryly to Ariond, Cruxophim muses, "People do that all the time."

Speaking to Leafiara, Ariond concedes, "While I admit it's unlikely she's the one causing Hap harm..."

Hapenlok says, "No."

Speaking uncomfortably to Ariond, Keiiko asks, "Don't you think it is strange?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Hapenlok says, "I need to find out what the disposition of Disean Andrews was."

Leafiara says, "I thought I'd miss coming to this lake all the time, after Pylasar was dragging us here every week... only to turn around and have Vlashandra dragging us here every week."

Speaking to Keiiko, Ariond says, "Quite."

Terabor asks, "Did everyone see the snakes?"

Speaking to Hapenlok, Leafiara says, "I haven't forgotten."

Chandrellia softly says, "If I may interject, where will this event take place or do we not know yet."

Hapenlok grimaces as he quickly grabs at his head!

Speaking to Terabor, Hapenlok says, "That's a sign of Cruxophim."

Speaking affably to Leafiara, Ariond asks, "Where has Pylasar been, anyway?"

Speaking to Chandrellia, Leafiara admits, "I don't know. If I were her, I wouldn't come near town, but then again she's crazy."

Motes of silvery light sparkle across Ariond's skin, twinkling like stars, as he prepares a spell...

Ariond gestures.

Perchta is discovered by Ariond!

Perchta says, "I give up."

Perchta just went southwest.

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara says, "He, ahh... was trying to investigate the disappearance of Kezmon Isle centuries ago and--might have been lost in time."

Leafiara says, "That's why Cordarius replaced his empty council seat."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "Then I guess I shall just have to keep my ears open, but I will be there."

Leafiara says, "We're still hopeful that we'll see Pylasar again one day, but... never know."

Ariond dryly remarks, "Of course."

Speaking quietly to Leafiara, Nightflame says, "Der's a lot of hunks of iron in da bottom dat lake."

Speaking concernedly to Hapenlok, Ariond asks, "Are you okay?"

Hapenlok grimaces as he quickly grabs at his head!

Ariond gently rests his hand on Hapenlok's shoulder.

(Hapenlok pushes Ariond away.)

Hapenlok hisses, "Don't touch me."

Speaking softly to Hapenlok, Keiiko says, "It's alright."

Speaking quietly to Leafiara, Nightflame says, "And Iron, well, it's da beginning of a well... a magnet, so isn't surprizing we keep getting dragged back here, da lake got magnitism."

Speaking warmly to Hapenlok, Keiiko says, "We are just trying to help."

Speaking to Leafiara, Krampton says, "Was it Slim that we ran into in the woods near hobgoblins a few weeks ago at night, or was that Grishom Stone? The bad guys are starting to blend together."

Speaking to Keiiko, Ariond warns, "Be careful."

Ariond adds, "He's dangerous."

Speaking to Krampton, Leafiara say, "That was Stone."

Leafiara says, "Slim didn't come back until two nights ago."

Speaking shortly to Ariond, Keiiko asks, "A man in pain?"

Speaking incredulously to Leafiara, Ariond exclaims, "Stone is here?!"

Leafiara wryly says, "Oh, is he ever."

Leafiara says, "He's over in the Deadfall forest past the bridge in the Upper Trollfang."

Ariond angrily blurts, "Why did no one tell me?!"

Speaking concernedly to Hapenlok, Keiiko says, "Tell us what we can do."

Krampton says, "Is like a grade school reunion happening, but like da worst kind."

Ariond flatly mutters, "Stone."

Speaking quietly to Ariond, Nightflame says, "Been here a while now, and he summoned an army, and I mean an army of Golems, which are at his disposal."

Leafiara says, "He doesn't seem to present any immediate threat... right now he, for some reason, is offering to heal Thrayzar if we can find him."

Speaking hesitantly to Leafiara, Ariond asks, "And he still has the Star of Khar'ta?"

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara explains, "Raznel finally completed the curse and fully transformed Thrayzar's mind into an orc, so... his offer is to cure him."

Speaking to Ariond, Leafiara says, "He does, yes."

Speaking soothingly to Hapenlok, Keiiko says, "I can help, just tell me what to do."

Ariond incredulously asks, "Why are we not more concerned about Stone than about bloody Barnom bloody Slim?"

Speaking wryly to Ariond, Leafiara says, "I am. That's why I was so nonchalant about Barnom last night."
