Leafiara (prime)/Tales/Anything But Neutral

Original Story: Eoantos 26, 5119

(context: I posted the previous night's log from my Florania account instead of Leafiara)

"Dear, I have only transcribed what you relayed," said Florania, looking her daughter over. "It seems disingenuous if not duplicitous to then affix my name instead of yours--"

Leafi shook her head. "That's fine. Either of those things are fine."

"Do you know what those words mean?"

"No, and it doesn't matter. The TownCrier reports have to remain neutral, but today and especially tomorrow I'm anything but neutral."

Florania gave her a considering look. There were many things she wanted to say to her daughter, but only one she needed to: "As long as you do not stray from who you are."

"I won't," Leafiara whispered. "Time to rest. Long day tomorrow... of moving the willing."

Her mother smiled faintly and let the subject drop.
