Lichstone

Lichstones are a type of gem specific to the world of Elanthia and have no real-world equivalent. They are primarily black with other hints of other colors which makes them similar to bloodstones and chalcedonies.

Description:   Black in color, the lichstone holds dark whispers of other hues, bloody reds seeping into cold blues and mossy greens. Uncut facets lend it a rugged texture that make the jewel look as if it has weathered the passage of ages. Its depths are impenetrable and inky, of a black that refuses even the brightest light.
