Maellyn Kedy is the proprietress of Maellyn's Fabrics.

Description

Maellyn is a tiny, wizened halfling dressmaker.  She wears a brightly colored patchwork gown, in dozens of different colors and fabrics, pieced together like quilt work.

Ambients

Maellyn asks, "How many yards are you gonna need, dearie?"

Maellyn casts aspersions on tart lovers everywhere as she wipes jam off a bolt of cloth.

Maellyn quickly cuts some velvet into a loose satchel pattern and begins to whipstitch the pieces.

Maellyn pulls out a small pipe and lights it, leaning back behind her desk and blowing slow smoke rings.

Maellyn sorts through a drawer full of sundries, emerging with a small needle.  She settles back behind her desk to stitch the piece of blackwork she has been working on.

Maellyn suddenly pricks her finger on a silver needle and curses under her breath.

Maellyn says, "You know, for those stormy days, you really need a heavier fabric cloak."

Fastidiously bustling around the shop, Maellyn steps on the tail of her cat.  With a screech, it runs under the table.

Maellyn brushes tart crumbs from a swatch of fabric and tucks it in near the bottom of the pile.

Maellyn asks, "You need some ribbons, dearie?"

A large dark grey cat creeps out from under the table and curls up behind some bolts of cloth.
