Natural armors are the hardened skin, exoskeleton, or other means of protection intrinsic in various creatures.
They are functionally similar to worn suits of armor, and can be classified into the same armor groups (AG) and armor sub-groups (AsG). Physical and bolt attacks made against natural armor have corresponding AvD, DF, and critical divisors.
Unlike worn armor, natural armor confers no additional CvA protection against warding spells.
Monks can transform their own skin into natural armor with the spell Iron Skin (1202).
