Profession Service Potion

Profession Service Potions provide a temporary increase in a character's profession service skill when consumed.

Potions are sold specific to a profession service. The temporary increase in profession service skill lasts for 15 minutes or until the next successful cast/attempt.

They are sold at Spellbound at Duskruin.

As of 2025, potions have not been offered for other profession services.

A separate item, the Crafter's Tome, is offered at Duskruin as another way of improving profession service skill. The tome's benefit is much smaller, but it is not consumed when used.

Analyze

You analyze the green tincture and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "There do not seem to be any specific limitations."

The creator has also provided the following information:
Once consumed, it will provide an effect that lasts for 15 minutes or until the next successful  cast/attempt to boost your skill when performing the ability associated with this tincture.  A bard may be able provide more specifics.

You get no sense of whether or not the tincture may be further lightened.
