A large pick-axe
This fancy pick-axe looks as though it belongs in a jewlers shop instead of the museum.
A closer look
The pick-axe is clearly meant to be decorative rather than practical. The silver head is engraved with curlicues and ornate borders. A tag attached to the pick-axe indicates it was used at the ceremony for the groundbreaking of the River's Rest Bank.
