Description

Both lilies and false lilies feature several blossom growing on long, slender stalks amid a cluster of dense, elliptical and spear-like leaves. They can vary widely in hue as well as leaf arrangement. While some lilies prefer the day, others flower only at night.

This brightly flowering lily can grow between 3 and 6 feet tall and bears a velvety flower with a deep blood red hue. Its elliptical leaves are velvety soft on their underside and grow in whorls around the stem. A single plant can have many flowers if it is in good health, and its blossoms are very fragrant. The plant, including its pollen, is highly toxic to cats.

Lore

The martagon lily is a real world plant. There currently is no Elanthian specific lore associated with it, however the Language of Flowers does reference two other varieties of lilies. Snow lilies are associated with "gratitude" while stargazer lilies are associated with "high breeding".

Appearances

The martagon lily only grows in Naidem. It can most easily be foraged in the Graveyard Temporalis.
