Cerulean roses hang over the mossy brick wall enclosing the patio, dappling the ground with their gently swaying shadows. Wenge tables and benches are spaced about the enclosure, shaded by black canopies patterned with plum-colored flowers. Smoked glass windows proceed along the wood-paneled exterior of the tea shop. The smell of steeping tea creeps through the front door, perfuming the air with floral and herbal notes that are as soothing as the gentle breezes that whisper over the wall.

The smell of steeping tea hangs like perfume in the air, herbal and floral notes lingering in a heavy pall over the front room of the shop. A wide wenge counter with inlaid purpleheart blossoms stands near to the entrance, forming a rounded rectangle around a tall shelf laden with porcelain jars of tea leaves. Drifting curtains of black silk patterned with deep violet blooms hang over an archway heading eastward into the tea room.

Veil-like curtains of black silk adorned with blossoms in deep violet hang over the arched entrance to the tea room, nearly concealing a small private nook. Round tables of fine-grained wenge occupy the close chamber, the unoccupied ones arrayed with fine bone cups and plates, golden teaspoons, and napkins of amethyst silk. Cerulean roses hanging over the patio wall outside dapple the carpeted floor with their gently swaying shadows. Their shapes are murky through the smoked glass windows.

Gently lit by lanterns lacquered with vivid blue roses, the far end of the tea room is a serene space framed by black curtains. A cast iron stove graced by a pattern of brushed silver thorns stands near a lacquered black steel bin with compartments for tinder and logs. Atop the stove sits a pale porcelain kettle painted with blue and green wisps.

The stove and kettle are functional for brewing tea. Logs, tinder, and matches are available in the bin. Water sold at the Teahouse's sales counter works for filling the kettle. It takes four flutes of water to fully fill the kettle.
