Description:   A swirling mass of tiny clear, white, dark grey, and blue crystals, a blue starstone appears as a pebbly ultramarine mass with twinkling white pinpoints. The gem is no bigger than a human's thumbnail and irregularly shaped. Its heavily pitted surfaces trap and reflect the light, giving the gem a sparkling, swirling look.
