Your uncut diamond quivers in your hand as a black vapor creeps out of the gem's shell. The vapor solidifies into several sticky tendrils that plunge deep into your right forearm. You feel a ripping sensation as the tendrils quickly leave your forearm, retreating back into the diamond. You are left feeling a bit downtrodden, and the uncut diamond rapidly shrinks in size until it vanishes from sight.
