Temporal Reversion (540)

|
Temporal Reversion has a chance to activate upon a failed defense against a physical attack (melee, bolt, and maneuver). A successful activation will 'snap' the wizard back in time to immediately before the attack occurred and, having knowledge of the oncoming blow, grants the wizard an increase of +200 to their generic defensive strength (DS) as well as a comparable increase in maneuver defense. The base chance for this to occur is 10%, and can be increased by training in Elemental Mana Control.
Mana Control Benefit
Training in Elemental Mana Control (EMC) increases the chance for the reversion to activate by 1% from a base of 10% for every 20 skill bonus. The maximum achievable activation rate is max 30% with 303 ranks EMC without enhancives, and 32% with +40 EMC from enhancive items.
