This is a copy of the letter written by Councillor Sorlu Jae'kym and mailed to Mayor Talliver Dabbings through the mail system. Later, this letter was stolen by Rammael while he was still the acting Icemule town clerk and sent to Ta'Vaalor which sparked what would later be known as The Winter War.

In the Common language, it reads:

Restday, 20th of Eoantos, 5122

To the Esteemed Mayor Talliver Dabbings,

There comes a point when past wrongs must be made right. The cries of our People can no longer be ignored. The weakness and cowardice shown in the past, in the face of adversity, has emboldened other predators to press now upon our southern borders.

We, the dutifully elected Council of Five, demand on behalf of the People of Icemule Trace, an immediate and formal revocation of the so-called agreement with Ta'Vaalor that allows them to dirty our lands with their military presence with complete impunity.

The cowering before King Qalinor must cease.

At this time, we will await your official response. Being a Dabbings, I trust your loyalty rests with Icemule and her People, be they by blood or by spirit, and will not falter despite the enemy we face together. Icemule no longer accepts submission to a foreign power.
