Are you certain that the secondary critical messaging from 317 and the critical messaging from 319 indicate plasma damage and not cold damage for Lorminstra? The primary critical from 317 for all deities is plasma based damage. The secondary critical is the damage type associated with that deity. Can you please verify this? Thanks. Certainly! This is from my logs. Character is Lorminstra aligned:

You chant a reverent litany, clasping your hands while focusing upon the Divine Fury spell...
Your spell is ready.
You gesture at a half-krolvin bandit.
Particles of dust and soot rise from the ground at your feet as you release a pulsating, platinum ripple of energy toward a half-krolvin bandit!
  CS: +476 - TD: +394 + CvA: 0 + d100: +89 == +171
  Warding failed!
  The half-krolvin bandit is cloaked in a blinding platinum light and assailed for 96 points of damage!
   ... 30 points of damage!
   Sizzling arc of plasma blows the half-krolvin bandit's kneecap off!
   ... 10 points of damage!
   Powerful burst to the half-krolvin bandit's back causes excruciating pain.

and then from 319:

>As several faintly glowing snowflakes settle upon a halfling marauder, they ignite with cold white flame.
  CS: +476 - TD: +394 + CvA: -10 + d100: +93 == +165
  Warding failed!
   ... and hits for 15 points of damage!

   ... 15 points of damage!
   Dazzling arc of energy traces blackened path across the halfling marauder's chest!
 
As several faintly glowing snowflakes settle upon a halfling highwayman, they ignite with cold white flame.

   ... and hits for 21 points of damage!

   Glaring burst to the halfling highwayman's chest dances across skin leaving smoking holes!
