Tortoise Shell paint can be used to apply a temporary painted design onto specific mounts. While they were originally created to work with tortoise mounts, they were expanded in 2022 to also work with lizard mounts. They are sold at the Rumor Woods shop The Colorful Carapace. AnalyzeYou analyze your mottled jar of paint and sense that the creator has provided the following information: This mottled jar of paint will create a design on the shells of tortoise mounts and the flanks of lizard mounts that will last for four hours or until you use the appropriate cleaning cloth to clean it off. Just RUB your paint ON your mount. When painted on a mount, the design will appear as: Tortoise Mounts - Artfully painted on its shell is an intricate pattern of rose gold arabesques. Lizard Mounts - Artfully pained on its flank is an intricate pattern of rose gold arabesques. The mottled jar of paint's description can be altered as long as the description is in the form of "a <container> of paint" where the noun is always "paint." The design and color can also be customized by a merchant. Usage
