Description
Spirit Shield is a defensive enhancement spell wherein the caster uses his or her spiritual powers to influence the surrounding spirits to provide additional physical protection. It provides a base bonus of +10 to physical defensive strength.
For each rank of Major Spiritual spells known:
- the duration of the spell is extended by 60 seconds from its base.
- the DS bonus is increased by +1 for every 3 ranks known over 202.
When Spirit Shield is cast on others, the DS bonus is a flat +10 and the duration is not cumulative; it is refreshable.
The DS bonus is capped at the caster's level.
The DS bonus at 100 spell ranks is 66.
Spirit Shield is commonly known as "dims" for its visual effect.
