A successful activation will 'snap' the wizard back in time to immediately before the attack occurred and, having knowledge of the oncoming blow, grants the wizard an increase of +200 to their generic defensive strength (DS) as well as a comparable increase in maneuver defense. The base chance for this to occur is 10%, and can be increased by training in Elemental Mana Control.
