Empathic Linking

Empathic linking is a requirement for healing by an empath on an F2P subscription. In a 2015 discussion, it was stated to be a long way off before it was a general requirement.

It is initiated via TOUCH {target} LINK, which takes 30 seconds, and will subsist naturally after 180 seconds or UNLINK is issued by either player.

First person

Establishing the link

>touch Character link
As you touch Character, you concentrate on establishing an empathic link.

and after 30 seconds

You sense a successful empathic link has been forged between you and Character.

After 3 minutes or if unlink is initiated

You sense your empathic link with Character fade away.

Attempting to establish a new link when another is already estabilished:

>touch Character link
You are unable to establish another empathic link until your previous link is dissolved.

Second person

Linking is initiated

As Empath touches you, you feel a warmth radiate from his touch.

After 30 seconds, they can begin healing you

You feel Empath's mind touch your own as your wounds begin to tingle.
