The faint sounds of crackling logs emanate from a small pot-bellied stove in the corner of the tent, the ascending trails of smoke escaping from a series of star-cut holes into the air beyond. A branch-tied leather cot has been haphazardly stacked with a number of bolts and scraps of fabric, the pile threatening to spill over into a tartan-lined basket of reeds nestled in soft blankets. A pair of yellow eyes and long whiskers peek out between the various bric-a-brac, blinking slowly before slinking off.
