Justin Litchfield plays Aconitum, a Sylvan wizard and Peiilani, an Aelotoi rogue, among others....
Gemstone interests
- Wizard guild stuff (hopefully soon)
- Also fun wizard things like charging
- Pickpocketing/rogue gambits
- Dabbling in sorcery
KP stuff to-do
- Wizard Base and Major Elemental lists
- Wizard Guild maps
- Wizard Guild info and Alchemy related things
- Sorcerer Guild maps
Feel free to add to my to-do list, though good luck actually getting me to do them.
Experience
- EXPERIE (verb) - experience, start a character, fry him as fast as possible (running water in vaalor) and see how much exp that was, let bell, then repeat a couple times, change logic to a much higher bonus and repeat, then a much lower bonus and repeat.
- write a script to parse nicely my data for that
- then, take those three characters and run around get like 300, then 400, then 500, then 600, then 700, then 800, then 900 exp and see how much of that is ever absorbed

Old info
Exp Capacity = 800 + DI + LO
Absoprtion on a node per minute = 12 + [Amount of field experience available to soak] / [50 - Age/6]
Absorption off of a node per minute = [Absorption on a node] * [(50 + LO bonus + IN bonus)/100]
Someone with a combined IN and LO bonus of 50 or more learns as quickly in the field as on a node.
Findings
- Exp head total is 800+LOG+INT (still)
- Exp per pulse has a factor of (exp in your head divided by 200) so on-node absorption drops when you have 200 less in your head
- OFF node, you get an extra exp/pulse if you have more than 400, 600, or 800, so it's like the on-node, but you don't get the benefit for the first 200 exp
- Thresholds for mind-status changes are here as a proportion of (fraction in your head)/(head capacity)
- Note, this seems to round at the hundredth place (ie. 0.6147 and 0.6163 give different reports). Though, now it looks like the Fresh/clear -> Clear isn't perfectly behaved...

Non-GemStone interests
- Dabbling in grad school
- Being a pedestrian
- Driving my car
See, contrary to popular belief. If you have a car, you can still walk places.
