The cudgel is wielded one-handed and requires training in the [[Blunt Weapons|blunt]] weapons skill to use effectively. The potential damage from the cudgel is slightly below average when compared to other blunt weapons.

The cudgel weapon profile and damage table also apply to [[Light crossbow|light crossbows]], [[Heavy crossbow|heavy crossbows]] and [[discus]]es when they are used as melee weapons (right hand only).
