Premium contest/2022-12 - Holiday Horror

Have you ever tried to make your own holiday sweater, but it ended up a holiday horror?! No?  Well now's your chance to design one!


Here are the requirements:
 1. Design the 15/15/sweater (the noun must be sweater). 
 2. Design the sweater's long description (65 character limit).
 3. Design the messaging for when you WEAR the sweater (500 character limit).
 4. Design the messaging for when you REMOVE the sweater (500 character limit).
 5. Design a show for the sweater (500 character limit).


Example of a submission:

1. A pink and/green knitted/sweater
2. A pink and green knitted sweater with knots in the pattern (58)
3. You poke your head through the bottom of the sweater, but your head gets caught for a moment in the sleeve hole.  Struggling, you pull at the sweater grabbing at your hair instead! Ouch!! But from one moment to the next you're able to poke your head through the right hole and wiggle yourself into the garment. (311)
4. You grasp the bottom hem of your sweater, pulling it up and over your head.  Your wrist gets caught in the sleeve, tugging at one of the threads.  Ugh, you'll have to fix that later. (182)
5.  Knitted from vivid pink and dull green yarn, the sweater has been crocheted in a disorganized pattern.  Knots in the pattern are scattered throughout the garment, along with long strands of hair that seem to have gotten caught. (225)

Entries that do not conform to the above requirements will not be considered eligible.

Contestants have until 11:59 pm PT on December 31, 2022 to get entries submitted.

Ten winners PER CONTEST will be chosen from the submitted entries.  In the event of there being fewer than ten entries, everyone wins!

Like all Premium Monthly Contests, entries are subject to change based on the discretion of the GMs and QC.  Entries will be judged during the first week of December.  Zoelle will not judge this contest except in the rare case of a tie.  The winners will be announced as soon as possible afterwards.  Zoelle reserves the right to make any changes to submissions that they, or QC, deem necessary.

All Premium contest winners must ASSIST within 30 days from the time the winners are announced to get their prize, or you forfeit it!  All winners will be listed in PREMIUM 7 and may choose their prize from the list posted there.

Reminder:  There is no guarantee that any submission will be created in game!

Aethyra

1. a red and puce holiday goat sweater
2. a red and puce striped sweater with a grinning goat on the front
3. You take a moment to admire your glorious goat sweater before pulling it on and reveling in its warmth. It only takes a moment before the unbearable itching that always accompanies the wearing of this sweater sets in.
4. Unable to bear the itching any longer, you reluctantly pull your grinning goat sweater over your head, caressing it with a longing sigh as you fold it up and prepare to put it away until next time.
5. This red and puce striped sweater was obviously made with love, but unfortunately the materials used are not the highest quality. The fabric feels a little rough and scratchy, and the stripes are a little uneven. The sweater sports the cheerful face of a grinning goat on the front, but his eyes are slightly crossed and off-center. Overall, it's quite a funny-looking but much-loved sweater!

Arianiss

3. You carefully slip the paeline sweater over your head while being mindful of the direction it faces and making sure to not stretch any of it in the process.  The fuzzy fabric catches in an awkward position until you adjust the fit, and as you do, the material hugs tightly to your form to envelop you in warmth.
4. You carefully remove the paeline sweater while being mindful not to stretch it or snag it on anything.  As you finish, you fold the sweater into a small bundle and hold it protectively in your hands.
5. The high collared sweater is knitted from fuzzy paeline and gives the impression of being warm and snug when worn.  Brightly colored designs of trees and snowmen and Thrakmas ornaments are knitted throughout.  The sweater is in pristine condition as if it has been lovingly cared for.

3. Lifting the sweater over your head, you take a moment to appreciate the sheer enormity of the garment before it falls effortlessly over your form, engulfing you in its warmth.  Aimlessly, you search for two sleeves in close proximity to one another.  When you finally poke your head out of the sweater, you frown at all of the excess material dangling about your sides.  In a sudden flash of fashion genius, you fling the loose bits around you neck and over your shoulder, not unlike a massive scarf.
4. With a bit of effort, you pull your arms free from their sleeves and into the body of the sweater.  Ducking your head inside the garment, you quickly become lost in its vast depths.  You twist and wiggle around, but still cannot seem to free yourself.  Minutes pass, or perhaps even hours, and just as you begin to wish you had snacks for this arduous journey, you finally locate part of the uneven hem and manage to extricate yourself amid a chorus of tiny crackling sounds.
5. Crafted from an incredible amount of fuzzy holly green yarn, this sweater is easily the size of three giantmen.  Five sleeves extend from the large body of the sweater in a rather haphazard fashion.  The length of the sweater varies significantly, from midriff-exposing on one side to falling just below the knees on the other, leaving one to wonder why it was ever completed.  Adorning the back of the sweater is an uneven line of small, festive-looking roltons.  Or, perhaps they are kobolds?

Obelin

1. a garish and/unevenly knit/sweater
2. a garish and unevenly knit sweater in a vaguely wintry theme
3. 1st person - You select the largest hole in the sweater, determining that it must be the bottom, and slide it over your head.  Almost immediately you find yourself lost and flailing, your left arm unable to find a sleeve and your head caught in an unidentifiable bulge of fabric that should not be.  What is this, pants?  After an interminable and frustrating duration you emerge mostly victorious, if somewhat breathless, arguably wearing the sweater.
3rd person - Person slides the garish and unevenly knit sweater over their head, although not the way you would have done it, and immediately appears to be struggling.  An arm briefly emerges from what you think may be the neck before retreating, the entire thing is turned inside-out and then reversed, but finally a head emerges from a strangely foreshortened sleeve and Person appears satisfied with the result.
4. 1st person - Having incorrectly assumed the process would be easier to reverse, you begin extricating yourself from the woolen mess that is your sweater.  You briefly find yourself trapped in what you now realize was not an excessively long turtleneck but, in fact, one of the sleeves.  At one point you are forced to turn the entire thing inside-out to free an arm and realize that it may have actually been inside-out all along.
3rd person - Person grabs the neck of their garish and unevenly knit sweater and pulls it up over their head, as though to remove it.  This process continues for an uncomfortably long time as you realize that the bunched material may actually have been a sleeve.  You are not surprised when they appear to become lost within the body of the sweater and eventually wind up turning the entire thing inside out a few times trying to determine what may have gone wrong.
5. The woolen mess before you is not immediately identifiable as a sweater, including as it does nearly a dozen openings which may be decorative and may be sleeves.  While knit in seasonally appropriate colors, the pattern is not quite clear, nor is the angle it should be viewed.  Ragged seams and stray ends suggest that perhaps it has been turned inside-out, although it's unclear how much that could improve the structural irregularities.
