The creator has also provided the following information:

This silver scrying bowl is a fluff RP tool for generating random visions. It is tier 1 of 3. Higher tiers provide additional visions.

Water the bowl to fill it with water (from an assumed flask).
Turn the bowl over to pour the water back into the flask.
Look at the bowl to see if it is filled or empty.
Touch the bowl to peform a little ritual of resonance.
Gaze at the bowl to evoke a new vision.

The item can be altered as long as it remains a "scrying bowl" and references to its material do not indicate that its surface is not reflective. Long descriptions are allowed, but show descriptions are not.

You get no sense of whether or not the bowl may be further lightened.

a twig-roofed squat hut, [Map Room XX], Room# 8083133, Lich# LXX, go squat hut

Entranced

[Entranced - 8084733]
Hovering below the ceiling, a miasma of smoke drifts through the small hut from a nearby window, choking the air and forming a haze that obscures the walls. Faint light trickles in through an opening in the peaked, twig-covered roof, creating pools of light upon shelves that ring the space. A low sleeping pallet filled with preserved furs is thrown against one wall, while several ancient food crocks are scattered about the dirt floor.
Obvious exits: out

On the modwir serving tray you see: a gleaming silver scrying bowl, an etched metallic bowl, a wide-lipped copper bowl with an exterior verdigris patina, a moon-etched platinum bowl, and a star-carved copper bowl.

Eyes of the Arkati

These disks are designed to be worn over the eyes, where they will safely hide from view. However, while worn they will, every 8 - 12 hours, provide a random vision. They can also help you slip into a trance, and you can even trigger a vision on your own.

GAZE: Trigger a Minor Vision
WHISPER disks START: Causes you to slip into a trance.
WHISPER disks STOP: Causes you to come out of a trance.

Additional verbs can be used to do special messaging while in a trance.
Verbs: Blanch, Gaze, Grin, Whisper

The disks are Tier 1 out of 2.

Since the disks do not appear, even when manipulating them with the above verbs, there aren't any customizations available for them. However, you can change the deity or energy they are aligned to.
