The haon tree is a deciduous tree that can grow up to a hundred feet tall with a wide and rounded crown. The tree is distinctive for the appearance of its bark and leaves. The bark tends to be very smooth with a purplish-grey tint, having an almost glowing quality. The leaves are nearly translucent, allowing light to shine through them. Haon nuts are edible, with a similar quality as chestnuts.

The wood of the haon tree has no special magical properties. Petrified haon is valued by jewelers.

List of Haon as Gems

Note: The rarities listed are estimates and depend on the status of the treasure system in the area hunted. Average values listed are approximations and are generally taken from the sell values of a character selling gems with no trading bonus. See the Trading article for more information on variations of sell values.

Description:   A silvery sheen graces the surface of this rectangular chunk of rock. Past the many flaws and imperfections, the purplish-grey crystal still contains a grain pattern that can be identified as that of haon.
