a sanguine velvet martagon lily
Description: This brightly flowering lily can grow between 3 and 6 feet tall and bears a deep sanguine flower, sometimes with dark speckles. Its elliptical leaves are velvety soft on their underside and grow in whorls around the stem. A single plant can have many flowers if it is in good health, and its blossoms are very fragrant. The plant, including its pollen, is highly toxic to cats.
