Revision as of 11:33, 10 October 2022
Have you ever been out shopping for the perfect Captain's Quarter's set up but you couldn't find the right fit for you? Well now's your chance to design one.. Here are the requirements: 1. The room must contain a [TABLE], [BED], [CHAIR], [MATERIAL]-paneled walls, [DESK]/[MAP]. 2. Room description must be 510 characters or less. 3. Room MAY reference Sunlight/moon light, but room descriptions should not change beyond that. 4. Do not FILL the [ ] with an actual description beyond TABLE, BED, CHAIR..etc. Example of a Submission. 1. Sun/moonlight filters through a large, glass-paned window, illuminating [MAP] spread out on [TABLE] in the center of the cabin. A logbook lies open on [BED] near [CHAIR] piled with freshly laundered garments. Nautical charts are tacked to the [MATERIAL]-paneled walls, all scribbled with illegible handwriting, one drawn with a giant sea monster. OR 1. Freshly made with clean linens, [BED] stretches out beneath a clear glass-paned window at the rear of the cabin. A lantern flickers atop [TABLE] stacked with books, empty teacups, and nautical charts. [MAP] is framed upon a [MATERIAL]-paneled wall above [CHAIR], its seat occupied by a three-legged tabby cat. Entries that do not include all requirements and follow the guidelines will not be considered eligible. Contestants have until 11:59 p.m. PT on August 31, 2022 to get entries to me. Ten winners will be chosen from the submitted entries. Like all Premium Monthly Contests, entries are subject to change based on the discretion of the GMs and QC. Entries will be judged during the first week of September. Zoelle will not judge this contest except in the rare case of a tie. The winners will be announced as soon as possible afterwards. Zoelle reserves the right to make any changes to items that she, or QC, deems necessary. Please direct any questions to the Premium Contests folder on the official message boards. REMINDERS: THERE IS NO GUARANTEE ANY WINNING ITEM WILL BE CREATED IN GAME! ~Zoelle~

Sun/moonlight filters through the windows that make up three of the walls at one end of the cabin. [BED] sits centered in this portion of the room, providing a constant view of the passing sights. [MATERIAL]-paneled walls create a cozy space at the opposite end of the room, where [TABLE] and [CHAIR] have been incorporated into a fortress of cotton blankets and flyrsilk-covered pillows. [MAP] peeks out from beneath a metal pail containing a questionable substance just inside the makeshift structure.
Disheveled and disarrayed, [BED] rests slightly askew near the center of one of the [MATERIAL]-paneled walls, perfectly framing the scene. Half-empty bottles and mugs of cold tea adorn the landscape while books and papers appear to have been scattered randomly. [CHAIR] sits abandoned some distance away from [TABLE], which rocks gently on its uneven legs. Mostly reassembled, the torn remains of [MAP] dominate its surface, with some gaps. A stray gleam reveals a pair of beady eyes peering from overhead.
The heavy silk drapes surrounding [BED] are pulled back by tasseled cord allowing for an unimpeded view across the cabin to the curvilinear glass-paned windows. Hanging at varying heights from a low overhead beam, three golden nautilus shell lanterns illuminate [MAP] on [TABLE] currently cluttered with an assortment of maritime instruments. [CHAIR] is pushed up against one of [MATERIAL]-paneled walls and sits beneath a display of jade-hilted cutlasses and lotus silk fans.
A river of near-empty bottles fail to remain hidden beneath [BED], the stench of cheap ale clinging to the stale air. A [TABLE] finds perch against [MATERIAL]-paneled walls in one corner under blackened portholes where sunlight/moonlight struggle to pierce through. On [TABLE] are tattered debt notes, tooth-marred wooden coins and [MAP] held in place with several rusted daggers. At the center of the mess is [CHAIR] facing the only way in and out, a loaded crossbow resting at its feet.
