On 3/20/2021, GM Estild teased GM Gyres's messaging for the spell '''Astral Vault''', from the [[Savant Base]] spell sphere on Discord. The spell concept was explained as a "pocket locker" or literally, a vault, that uses weight instead of item count for capacity. When cast, an astral vault is summoned, which can hold items. When the vault is closed, the items are saved for later (unlike [[Floating Disk (511)]], which is temporary).

On 3/20/2021, GM Estild teased GM Gyres's messaging for the spell Astral Vault, from the Savant Base spell sphere on Discord. The spell concept was explained as a "pocket locker" or literally, a vault, that uses weight instead of item count for capacity. When cast, an astral vault is summoned, which can hold items. When the vault is closed, the items are saved for later (unlike Floating Disk (511), which is temporary).

Messaging

>incant 1417
You calm your mind and apply the strength of your determination to Astral Vault...
Your spell is ready.
You gesture.
At your side, the fabric of reality thins and parts, resolving into a gently wavering aperture that is difficult to look at.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

>look
[Normal room description]
You also see a wavering aperture.

>look aperture
The very space around this oblong gap is distorted, gently rippling like a heat mirage, as though reality itself has been parted and pushed neatly aside. Through it, you catch a dizzying glimpse of a starry void awash with indefinable color.

>look in aperture
In the wavering aperture you see a silver wand, a golden wand and a starry void.

>look void
Distant pinpricks of light glimmer in a vast expanse that seems to stretch on into eternity. Indescribable colors bleed through the fathomless void and give texture and depth to an esoteric emptiness at once pale and dark. The overall effect is mesmerizing, and the call of the void is profound.

>close aperture
The edges of the wavering aperture at your side flicker and slide together as the tidy rent in reality seamlessly closes.
