1. Upcoming Events:

HUNT FOR HISTORY!
The Turamzzyrian Academy of Elanthian History announces their first annual
historical scavenger hunt! Join hundreds of players scouring the entire
world of Elanthia for clues and puzzles, discovering unique pieces of
history along your way. Compete in teams for prizes and take home any
artifacts you find on your search. The hunt kicks off on Friday, July 28th
and continues three full days until Sunday, July 30th. Check out
the "Scavenger Hunt" link at the GemStone III website
(http://gemstone.net) for more details and signup info. Attendance is
limited and space is filling up quickly, so reserve your spot in Elanthian
history today!

NEW PLAYER LEXICON GAMES!
New to the lands? Join the Lorekeepers of Silverwood Manor for a special
series of fun and interactive games to learn the best action verbs and
enhance your roleplaying activity in Elanthia! Gather for the festivities
on August 5th, at 5 PM EST in Icemule Trace (one north and one west from
Town Center at 310 Cursed Street), and in Wehnimer's Landing on Saturday,
July 15th and August 19th at 5 PM EST (one east from the temple). Mentors
and GameMasters will be available for demonstrations and questions
following the games. See you there!

2. Elanthian News:

BUDDY CONTEST WINNERS
They told their friends about GemStone III and now they're reaping the
rewards! We'll be picking three winners at the end of every month, so just
keep spreading the word and you could be next! The names of the new lucky
winners are posted on the GemStone III web site each month following the
drawing. To participate, go to http://buddy.play.net/gs3.

JULY PLATINUM CONTEST
Dress up that summer wardrobe - design an accessory item for the July
Platinum contest! Design anything from hair jewelry, sashes, and scarves
to pouches and belts. Top winners will receive free alterations! See
PREMIUM 6 in-game for rules and details.

PREMIUM MEETING & PARTY
Join fellow Four Winds Hall members for this month's meeting on Friday,
July 21st, at 9 PM EST in the Frostacre Woods. Portals will be available
inside the Halls, and will return you to where you left. The raffle will
start 30 minutes before the meeting.

This month's Premium party will be July 23rd at 5 PM EST.  Watch the in-
game news for more information as the date draws closer!
