Elemental focus potion

Focus potions can be made via the potions subskill of Alchemy. When imbibed, they will increase the Casting strength of a spell of the same magical-type as the potion for one cast. Each completed formula will yield four sips.

They are similar to Focus crystals.

Elemental focus potion formulas

Minor elemental focus potion

The formula for lesser elemental focus potions can be successfully made by a wizard or sorcerer with 12 ranks in Alchemic Potions.

This formula makes a four-sip potion that will increase the casting strength for an elemental spell by 5 points for one cast.

2. Add 2 doses of powdered blue peridot
3. Add powdered green peridot
4. Boil
5. Add ground flathead mushroom
6. Add s'ayanad crystal
7. Simmer
8. Seal

Lesser elemental focus potion

The formula for lesser elemental focus potions can be successfully made by a wizard or sorcerer with 36 ranks in Alchemic Potions.

This formula makes a four-sip potion that will increase the casting strength for an elemental spell by 15 points for one cast. The user must have 40 or more levels.

Greater elemental focus potion

1. Add water
2. Add powdered dragonseye sapphire

4. Add Essence of body
5. Infuse mana
6. Add 2 doses of powdered wild beechnut
7. Simmer
8. Seal
