The Sound Charm Gadget will turn a Basic Charm that attaches to Charm Jewelry into a Sound Charm. Sound Charm Gadgets are sold at the Rumor Woods shop Charmed, I'm Sure. Certificates can be applied to a Sound Charm Gadget to unlock and expand the quantity of Custom Sound Design Template slots or Custom Adjective slots. A maximum of 10 of each type of slot can be applied. Adding a slot via certificate just adds a slot. The design template or adjective itself will still need a merchant to alter it in order for it to be used.
AnalyzeYou analyze the copper-edged cube and sense that the creator has provided the following information: -- Sound Charm Gadget -- This cube will take Basic charms that attach to Charm Jewelry and turn them into "Sound Charms" instead. You are able to select an adjective to describe the quality of the sound as well as the sound itself. Like the Charm Maker, this cube requires Lightning magic to work; cast Lightning spells at the cube or DROP in iron or silver wands. To add sound to a charm, DROP a Basic Charm into the cube, TURN to select an adjective, TWIST to select a sound, and then RUB to apply the sound. You can INSPECT the cube to see current settings and charges. If you RUB the cube when there is no charm inside, it will emit the currently selected sound. ==Alteration Guidelines== * The 15/15/15, long, and show of this cube can be freely altered as long as the guidelines are followed. * The cube should be primarily made of metal. Its noun can freely change, but it should feasibly be some sort of small mechanical device - some suggestions for nouns are cylinder, cube, sphere, device, contraption, box, etc. * Custom adjectives and custom sound design templates are alterable by any merchant that is comfortable with them, BUT please read the specific guidelines for each item below. ==Unlockable Features== * Custom Adjectives [Locked] Unlocking these slots will allow you to have custom adjectives for use when creating sounds. Adjectives should be feasible as a descriptor for the quality of a sound, such as "low-pitched" or "raspy". When initially unlocked, these adjectives are blank until a merchant alters them. * Custom Sound Design Templates [Locked] Unlocking these slots will allow you to have custom designs for sounds created by this cube. These can include a placeholder for an adjective. Sound design templates should feasibly be a noise and should start with "a/an" or "the". Examples being: "the (adjective) sound of laughter" or (a/an) (adjective) whispering noise". When initially unlocked, these adjectives are blank until a merchant alters them.
