In the ancient realm of Sardin, a land graced by the presence of Storm Giants, a tumultuous era began with the birth of Eladamri Storvald on 02/11/4120. As the son of the mighty Storm Giantkin Jvartor, King of Sardin, and the late Krirym Storvald, Eladamri's arrival was marked by both hope and tragedy. Krirym passed away during childbirth, leaving the young giantkin under the care of Otelik Stormwrack, the trusted hand of the king. |

Eladamri Storvald was allegedly born on 02/11/4120 on the island of Sardin, North of the [[Dragonspine]] and [[Aenatumgana Mountain]]. Born to Storm [[Giantkin]] Jvartor, the King of Sardin during turbulent times; he was under the care of the King's hand Otelik Stormwrack as his mother Krirym Storvald died during childbirth. In the following years, smallfolk from the South sailed to the Isle of Sardin in an attempt to lay claim. The Sardin Giantman fought fiercely and bravely with their steel and thunder. But with each passing season, more invading vessels returned to lay siege and stake their claim on the land. Giantman and marines fought savagely against each other in a seemingly never ending battle. For the Sardin’s, the conflict became a war of attrition, and the Sardin Storm Giants were losing their footholds. [[Charl]] took notice and was furious over the debris and carnage that polluted the pristine waters of the Northern Seas; and he mustered a storm like no other to punish the land dwellers by sending the Isle of Sardin to the briny depths along with all who inhabit it. |

In the following years, the tranquility of Sardin was shattered as smallfolk from the South sailed to the island, seeking to claim its rich lands. The Sardin Giantmen valiantly fought back, wielding steel and thunder against the invaders. But with each passing season, the conflict escalated, and more enemy vessels arrived, threatening the very existence of the Storm Giants. |
In an act of desperation, Jvartor "Stormthunder" Storvald had Otelik take Eladamri and a few giantmen and set sail towards the South with a war-acquisitioned Schooner. Jvartor pleaded to the [[Akati]] [[Charl]] that his clan and kin be spared an early grave, but his pleas fell upon deaf ears; and [[Charl]] saw the destruction of Sardin through. The island of the Storm Giants was lost to the sea. |
In a desperate bid to save his son and a few loyal companions, King Jvartor, known as "Stormthunder," ordered Otelik to set sail towards the South with a war-acquisitioned Schooner. He pleaded to the mighty Akati Charl for mercy, but the deity remained relentless, summoning a devastating storm that swallowed the Isle of Sardin and all its inhabitants into the depths of the sea. |
Otelik strained to keep hold of the helm as thunderous winds and crashing waves relentlessly threatened the small Schooner. She wailed, creaked, and splintered against the terrible gale, and despite the crew's best efforts, the vessel becoming ladened with seawater, broke her topsail and hastily capsized. The crew was lost... save one child. |
Miraculously, Eladamri survived the shipwreck, washed ashore far from his homeland on the distant shores West of Pinefar Trading Post. A Paladin of Voln, on a spiritual journey, discovered the battered and dehydrated giantkin child. Eladamri's babbling tales of a pale young girl with blue eyes, a flowing blue-green gown, and dolphins that saved him, intrigued the Paladin. He believed that Eladamri was chosen to be spared by the divine forces themselves. |
Under the Paladin's care, Eladamri spent two decades hidden in the Temple of Voln, honing his skills and training to become a capable warrior. But the grief, anger, and longing for his lost homeland consumed him. For the next seventy years, he roamed the harsh lands North of Aenatumgana Mountain, seeking clues about his past and searching for his lost brethren. |

Eladamri would spend the next twenty years hidden from civilization in the Temple of [[Voln]] until he was fit and trained appropriately enough to seek out his homeland. Stricken with grief, anger, and contempt - he spent the next seventy years scouring the harsh lands North of [[Aenatumgana Mountain]] in solitude, trying to find his lost brethren and claimstake. Every so often clues to his past would arise, but it always led to a dead end. The "Windrunner" [[Jaston]] took pity upon Eladamri Storvald year after year, and took it upon himself to use the four winds to guide his small boat to the hidden resting place of the Matriarch [[Meyno]]. It was at this sacred sight, did Eladamri meet the Spirit of [[Khaarne]], eldest son of [[Meyno]]. The spirit did not speak, but rather showed Eladamri two paths. The path he was currently traversing, in the likes of the footsteps of [[Meyno's]] second son, his brother, [[Illoke]] which was that of revenge, misery, and solitude. Or another pathway, one that led to happiness, merriment, and adventure. The choice was young Storvald's to make. |

The Windrunner, Jaston, took pity on Eladamri, guiding him with the four winds to the sacred resting place of the Matriarch Meyno. There, Eladamri encountered the Spirit of Khaarne, Meyno's eldest son. The spirit showed him two paths – one of revenge, misery, and solitude, akin to that of his brother Illoke, and another filled with happiness, merriment, and adventure. The decision lay with Eladamri. |
For many days and many nights Eladamri sat contemplating. Questioning everything. Every decision, every motive, and every action he's taken. On the sixth night, Eladamri turned to [[Khaarne]] and spoke the words, "I shall follow in your footsteps [[Khaarne]]." And with those spoken words, the ground trembled beneath Eladamri forcing him to his knees, An aquamarine tide pool formed in front of him, and as he peered deeply into the pool of water, his hands clenched fistfuls of sand! He saw the ghostly visage of his Jvartor and Krirym Storvald gazing at him lovingly with deep blue, silver-flecked eyes. Within the pool he saw Otelik’s worn concerned face, as gazed upon a young Eladamri sprinting along the ridgeline of his lost homeland of Sardin. With longing he took in its lush, green hills and sheer cliffs, and rock faces. The unfamiliar faces of his kind. With horror he witnessed the sky darken, Charl’s wrath unleashed upon his isle, and the island splitting into two, landsliding into the dark depths of the ocean. His tears streaming down his angular face and falling within the tide pool. |
Days and nights passed as Eladamri pondered his choices. On the sixth night, he made his decision, choosing the path of Khaarne. As he spoke the words, the ground trembled, and an aquamarine tide pool emerged. Within its depths, he saw visions of his parents' loving gaze and the beauty of his lost homeland, Sardin. Yet, grief overwhelmed him as he witnessed the island's destruction. |
Just when Eladarmi couldn’t stand to see anymore, the imagery shifted instantly to a skyline sparkling with magnificents colors of greens and blues. Peering closer he saw what appears to be a glacial paradise South of the [[Mt. Aebatumgana, and East of Pinefar. A town where [[giantkin]] and smallfolk lived in harmony, and penguins roamed freely amongst cobblestone streets. Of a meeting place in the center of town where folk gathered around a large bonfire under the stars. A chill ran down his spine and quenched the angry fire in Eladarmi’s mind, whilst a deep warmth filled his heart. With every sensation in his body he felt energized at the thought of it; he spoke out loud, “A new home”. |
However, the tide pool's images then shifted to a new and vibrant skyline, promising a glacial paradise South of Mt. Aebatumgana, near Pinefar. A place where giantkin and smallfolk lived together in harmony, under sparkling skies. A sense of warmth and hope filled Eladamri's heart, sparking a newfound determination to make this place his new home. |
With the resolve to embrace this new destiny, Eladamri declared, "A new home," as he embarked on a journey to find the glacial paradise depicted in the tide pool. Thus, the tale of Eladamri Storvald, the Storm Giantkin, continued, filled with adventure, redemption, and the quest for a place where he could finally find peace and purpose. |
