Water blast is a creature maneuver that unleashes a powerful blast of water, causing unbalancing critical damage and substantial roundtime.
This maneuver can be blocked with a shield.
Water wyrds and huge water elementals have a weak version of this maneuver:
The water wyrd closes its eyes and draws in on itself, arms crossed over its aqueous torso. Suddenly its eyes flash open and it hurls a blast of water at you! Your attempt to dodge the water jet is a moment too slow, and the powerful bolt strikes squarely, flattening you! ... 5 points of damage! Upward thrust lifts you several inches off the ground. You are stunned for 1 round! Roundtime: 7 sec.
Water elementals found in the Ruined Temple have a stronger version:

Time slows to a standstill as you watch the watery blast slam into your seemingly frozen body! You vaguely realize that you are screaming as your shattered body is blasted back into a crumpled heap! ... 50 points of damage! You try desperately to keep your footing, but fall on your rear instead. Roundtime: 20 sec.
Creatures capable of performing this maneuver include:
