Twin Weapons were released at Duskruin Arena in February 2020 at On the Other Hand by GM Retser.

Analyze

Description: This script is designed around two weapon combat.  They will not function unless you're using two weapons of the same script in your hands.  The main hand (Primary) weapon referenced is the right hand and the left hand (Secondary) is the offhand.

Abilities
 Twin Lunge: Applies Max Stacks of Twin Rising Counters.
 Cooldown: 15 minutes.
 Verb: WAVE kunai AT TARGET

Twin Grip: Allows the ability to flip your offhand into your mainhand and pull it back out.
 Verb: GRIP
 NOTE: This requires both weapons to be unlocked to tier 1.

Twin Strikes: When active, all strikes will apply double the counters for the duration.
 Cooldown: 30 minutes.
 Duration: 2 Minutes.
 Verb: RAISE

Passives
 Twin Rising
   Hitting an opponent with these weapons applies a counter.  Consecutive strikes
   against the target increase the effects of these counters which in turn increases
   the weapon's flare strength.  The counters last for 15 seconds before falling off.  This effect
   works with both weapons and will only work if wielding two weapons.  Wielding two weapons
   of the same flare type will increase the counter application rate.
   Current Flare Type: Heat

Twin Detonation
   When you reach the maximum number of counters on a target creature a detonation will occur.
   This will essentially be a forced flare at the target at maximum counter strength and will
   remove the counters on the target.

Twin Stance
   Twin Primary: While the weapon is held in the primary hand it has a 5% chance to strike again.
   Twin Offhand: If the weapon is held in the offhand it has a 10% to increase your Defensive Strength by 12 when attacked by enemies.

Twin Master
   Twin Primary: While the weapon is held in the primary hand it has a 10% chance to increase the wielders Two Weapon Combat skill bonus by 10 for that attack.
   Twin Offhand: If the weapon is held in the offhand it has a 10% to increase your attack strength by 12 when attacking.

Twin Grip  Allows the ability to flip your offhand into your mainhand and pull it back out.
  NOTE: This requires both weapons to be unlocked to tier 1.

Your Twin Grip will now allow you to auto-draw your second weapon when the first is stored with GRIP.
  In addition, your Twin Grip will auto wield your weapon when attacked.  Both of these require you
  to be holding the main weapon in your primary (right) hand.
  NOTE: This requires both weapons to be unlocked to tier 2.

Usage

Verb First Third
PULL You toss your white vultite sword and white vultite sword high in the air before nonchalantly catching them behind your back. Person tosses her white vultite sword and white vultite sword high in the air before nonchalantly catching them behind her back.
PUSH You place your white vultite sword and white vultite sword end to end as you expertly swing them in a circular motion around your form. Person places her white vultite sword and white vultite sword end to end as she expertly swings them in a circular motion around her form.
RUB You cross your white vultite sword against your white vultite sword and angle them skyward. Person crosses her white vultite sword against her white vultite sword and angles them skyward.
TURN You turn your white vultite sword and white vultite sword upright and lay them comfortably against each shoulder. Person turns her white vultite sword and white vultite sword upright and lays them comfortably against each shoulder.

Tier 1

Twin Grip via GRIP and Twin Lunge via WAVE become available.

Tier 3

  • Twin Strikes cooldown reduced from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
  • Twin Lunge cooldown reduced from 15 minutes to 10 minutes.
  • Twin Stance primary double attack chance increased from 5% to 7%.
  • Twin offhand DS bonus increased from 12 to 16.
  • Twin Master AS bonus increased from 12 to 16.

Additional Information

It takes 8 hits total between the two weapons to trigger the detonation effect. This means that it is 4 attacks, assuming both weapons hit. The weapons also need to be of the same flare type.

Flare strength reaches its cap at tier 2, and is unchanged by tier 3 unlocks.
