As your examine your scripture more closely, several runes begin to stand out... |
a silver-limned indigo eel-shaped mark |
Limned in silver pigments, the twisting body of an indigo eel has an almost ethereal quality that is enhanced by an artistically inked dorsal fin that follows the full length of its sinuous body. Pigments closest to the ankle bone highlight the silver spots that pepper the eel's jaw, which is parted and depicted in the act of consuming its own tail. Lidless eyes, dark-centered and bright white, are fixed in a stare that provides the anguillid an eerie countenance. |
