Thagoria Vespiria Faendryl is a Sorcerer Guild Master assigned as a regulatory liaison to sorcerer guilds across the continent by the Basilica, which intervenes in the sorcery that is widely disseminated to the lay population of Elanith. She is a member of Rachis, ultimately under the authority of the lead Basilican Sorcerer, who is the Arch Chancellor of the Clerisy. Thagoria has been known to raffle off minor demon summoning rune teachings
2025 KST Storyline
Thagoria arrived in Wehnimer's Landing in late Eonatos 5125, having recently been in the region for an annual Faendryl Symposium, upon feeling a massive shock wave in the fabric of reality. This was caused by the soulstone of the Palestra Blade Aralyte shooting a beam into the mana storming of Melgorehn's Reach. Thagoria was informed of recent shadows and Ithzir invasions, and the apparent survival of Aralyte after more than ten years in the Shadow Realm. Thagoria returned to New Ta'Faendryl to alert the High Magus on duty, seeking to speak to the Basilican Sorcerer directly.
Thagoria returned to Lake Eonak about a week later to tell the locals she had spoken to higher ranking figures in the Basilica about the shock wave, the Ithzir, the shadows, and the lost Palestra Aralyte. She reported first to Severnus Aviligne Faendryl, High Magus of the Basilica Tower. Through Severnus she was able to speak directly to the Basilican Sorcerer, Malevort Hexmor Faendryl, the Arch Chancellor of the Clerisy.
Thagoria said the Basilica will most likely send investigators. But that the Archchancellors were vying for control over it, due to the complicated politics involved, and their overlapping jurisdictions. The tone of the Basilica's reaction would depend a lot on which of those personalities gets control over the situation. Then she revealed that Malevort had tasked her, related to the soulstone, with distributing the more powerful Sacrifice method through sorcerer guilds across the continent. She instructed the sorcerers present on its conceptual foundations and showed them how it works.

She is wearing a baleful vaelfyren choker beholding an oculoth eye, a billowing jet black cape lined in scarlet bourde, a vathorboned lathonian corselet, an inky black spidersilk gown, a crimson guild insignia, a spiral-inset black leather vasculum, a twisting silver waistchain, and some oiled black leather boots.
