Near a metal rack filled with various tools for the creation of footwear, a sturdy shoe form is bolted to a heavy wooden platform. Bolts of fabric are tightly packed into bins beneath a long oaken worktable littered with scraps of leather and broken bits of chalk. An old wine barrel sits in front of a canvas tent flap.
