Symbol of Sleep
Step 11
The Symbol of Sleep is obtained at the eleventh step of the Order of Voln. This symbol can be used as either a single target or mass disabling attack against both undead and living creatures. The mass version of this symbol does not affect other player characters in the room. This symbol uses the Standard success resolution system to detemine success or failure.

Favor Cost
The base favor cost for Symbol of Sleep is dependent on the member's level (not member's rank). See Order of Voln Symbols table [1] for specific examples.
Only the base cost is applied when Sleep is targeted or untargeted with one creature present. The cost escalates with addition creatures. For two creatures the cost doubles. Additional creatures cost 1/2 the base each. Favor cost for this symbol is capped but that number is currently unknown.
Cumulative cost example for a level 40 member with four creatures present:
- One creature = 54 (Base cost)
- Two creatures = 108 (Base × 2)
- Three creature = 135 (Base × 2) + (Base ÷ 2)
- Four creatures = 162 (Base × 2) + (Base ÷ 2) × 2)
- Total cost: 54 + 54 + 27 + 27 = 162 favor
