Beacon Hall Archive: Goat Fest 5123

Join Beacon Hall Archive as they celebrate the Goat Days Festival! A time-honored tradition in River's Rest, the fest will include competitions, historical tours, challenging games, and several raffles.

11:00 PM	Beacon Hall Courtyard (lich #11010)	DOCK DIVING/FREBBLE	Come enjoy the traditional BHA game of Dock Diving. Gather at Beacon Hall, Courtyard (lich rm. 11010) before the daredevils move to The Warren, River Dock (lich rm. 17664) to play! WARNING: death and injury may result, especially if you're bad at Swimming.

12:30 PM	Beacon Hall Courtyard (lich #11010)	Gem of Fate/ASTRU	Dodge the most of these shocking gems and the remainder of the sparkly rocks can be yours! Players should gather in the Courtyard, while spectators, as well as losers, may safely observe the maiming of their comrades from the Gazebo.

2:00 PM	Adventure Guild in River’s Rest	Goat MILK?/ORSSUS	How good is your aim? Can you fill your bucket the fastest? Since the goats weren’t too willing to cooperate, we’re using a dartboard instead. NOTE: For each round, every player throws three darts. The darts are added together for a score, counting doubles and triples is optional and will be decided beforehand. The highest score in each round is given a letter from the word MILK. The letters are given in order. The first person to fill their “bucket” with "MILK" wins. (lich #16023)
4:00 PM	River's Rest, Commons Circle (lich #10852)	GOAT PIN RAFFLE/50k	a shaggy brown goat pin: The brown goat pin is so lifelike you almost swear it could move. The emerald eyes seem to have a life all their own. It is as if they were searching for food. You aren't really sure, but you could have sworn you saw it stick its tongue out, licking its lips. Were it alive you would judge the brown goat pin's condition to be fat and happy! It almost looks like it is resting.

10:00 PM	Beacon Hall Courtyard (lich #11010)	Goat Tales/KAYSE	Participants should bring a sack with three items in that should be used to create a story with a goat theme. BHA will provide some extra bags as well. The items will be put into identical bags and the bags will be mixed up. Each "author" gets to pick a bag and will have 30 minutes to create their story. PLEASE NOTE: Your items will not be returned to you. You will, however, get to keep the three items in the bag you pick . (lich #11010).
11:30 PM	Beacon Hall Courtyard (lich# 11010)	Greedy Goatherder	Here’s a chance to show off your shepherding skills. Take risks and build your flock as fast as you can, but watch out! If you get too greedy and you might lose them all. Join us at the Beacon Hall Courtyard for a fast-paced dice game.

3:00 PM	Dilapidated Pier (lich #27604)	Annual Goat Fest Fishing Contest	Bring your own fishing gear or use some of ours. Join us at the Floating Dock on the Tempest River for fishing along with snacks and drinks. Whoever catches the biggest fish within an hour wins!
5:00 PM	Beacon Hall Courtyard (lich #11010)	Goat Fashion Show/KAYSE	Is your goat all dressed up with no place to go…at? Bring your fanciest goat to gloat! There’s no better place for your goat to be a show boat. (OOC Note: Entries should be made using roleplaying verbs such as ACTION etc.).
9:30 PM	Beacon Hall Terrace (lich #16186)	Dance to the Bleat	Come show off your finest Goat Fest attire as you dance to the bleat! Join us at the Beacon Hall terrace for a good time! Just follow the goat prints. Prizes awarded to the best spring attire!
