Uploaded Image Patrols

Ongoing record of images needing copyright/attribution information added.

It that also the case for images (looked over your page to see if someone had the same issue as mine and saw about deleted pages being completely gone). Unfortunately I don't tend to log in unless I'm editing something so I only *just* noticed about the image needing attributions. In this case the image is mine made using Poser software but the computer I made the image on is currently in need of repairs so I can't simply upload it again. I would have messaged you directly but.... I'll keep logged in for a week in look of answer. Thanks.
Hello, ZEUS. I am responding to the message you left on my image patrol log. Unfortunately File:Sayakah and Ghost.png has already been deleted from the wiki so it cannot be recovered. If you re-upload it, please make sure to note that you are the image creator per the Copyrights section of the GSwiki's Policy. If you need help with that process, I recommend posting to the Gemstone forum's wiki thread on Discord. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 11:05, 8 August 2023 (CDT)
 • User talk:LARENIO1: Hello, LARENIO1. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki, File:Ancient Ghoul Master.png, that is missing some information requried by Gswiki:Policy. GSwiki now has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be on the images as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in Category:AI artwork. To add that text to the image file, you will need to click on "Edit Source" on the image file itself and add .
If that information is not added within 7 days, this image will be deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the moddelete template from the image. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet Gswiki:Policy requirements. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone Discord forum's wiki thread. Thank you for understanding. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:39, 20 December 2023 (CST)

 • User talk:WARMACE: Hi there, WARMACE. You recently uploaded two images to the wiki that appear to be duplicates of one another except with slightly different resolutions. The two image files are File:Luna.12.5.23.render.jpg (1024×1317 pixels) and File:Lunaryna-Profile.jpg (466×599 pixels). The smaller resolution image, File:Lunaryna-Profile.jpg, is the only one being used on any article (Lunaryna (prime)). Can you please let me know which of the two you had intended to keep on the wiki and which is the duplicate that should be deleted? I will remove the duplicate image. You can let me or another moderator know by adding delete to the image file that was uploaded in error, or you can respond here. If I do not hear back from you stating otherwise, I will remove the image that is not being used on any article.
Apart from the matter of duplicates, I have flagged both images because there is some information required by Gswiki:Policy that is missing from each of them. The upload text provided for File:Luna.12.5.23.render.jpg, which is not on any article, states, "New artwork of Lunaryna Talviel, by Myharl". The caption on the article featuring File:Lunaryna-Profile.jpg states, "Artist : Myharl (prime) via MidJourney", however that is not on the image file itself. You will need to clearly state Myharl as the artist, if permission was given by Myharl to upload the image, and that Midjourney was used to generate it on the image file as well as all articles displaying it. For your character page, that would involve just updating the thumbnail for the image. For the image file itself, you can do this by clicking on "Edit source" and adding text as if it were a normal wiki article. The image file will also need included in order for it to be properly added to that category.
If that information is not added within 7 days, the images will be deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the moddelete template from the images displaying it. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:31, 4 January 2024 (CST)
 • User talk:SOURCE: Hello, SOURCE. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki, File:Drektor5123.webp, that is missing some information required by Gswiki:Policy. GSwiki now has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (such as Artflow.ai), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be on the images as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in Category:AI artwork. To add that text to the image file, you will need to click on "Edit Source" on the image file itself and add the required information, plus to include it in the appropriate category for AI artwork.
• User talk:BARDLIEST: Hello, BARDLIEST. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki, File:Cadance.jpg.png, that is missing some information required by Gswiki:Policy. To add that text to the image file, you will need to click on "Edit Source" on the image file itself and add the required information. Thank you for already including the image in Category:AI artwork. You did include all of the needed information already in the other two images you recently uploaded, File:Liylith.jpg and File:Cadance Arborsong.png, so I suspect that this is merely an oversight with the third image.
