Gswiki:Requests
Requests, unless due to an editing restriction, are open to any editor to work on.
The main page (this one) houses instructions on how to submit a request, instructions on how to mark a request complete, and the list of active or open requests.
The TALK page facilitates the requests page by allowing editors to submit their requests in an organized fashion separated by subject. See below for instructions.
Submitting a Request
- To submit a new request, please click here.
- Under Subject, enter the name of the request. This serves as the request's section header.
- In the main body of the page, enter the details of the request.
- Be sure to sign your request with
~~~~. This will automatically populate user name, date and time in its place when saved.
Working & Completing Requests
Any editor may work on and complete requests, with the exception of items that have editing restrictions (see GSWiki Policy) or articles that are page protected. When communicating with the requestor, it is important to keep the response in the same section, preferably indented, and ensure the response is signed.
Request Completion
- To mark a request complete, click edit source on the TALK page (NOT Add topic or Start a new topic).
- Respond to the request noting it is a completed and sign it with
~~~~. - Add the
{{completedrequest}}template at the top of the request section, below the header.

Wehnimer's Landing elections
Category:Wehnimer's Landing politics is a couple years out of date. Could it be updated with the current mayor and council/envoy positions? ZHOUY1 (talk) 13:40, 14 October 2025 (CDT)
Change log formatting to be compatible with visual edit
Most of the inline logs on the wiki currently use <pre> tags to preserve formatting. This seems to have a compatibility problem with the Visual Edit functionality which sometimes erases tags and makes pages unreadable until it is fixed by editing the source. It is also somewhat unwieldy when editors have to include a margin-right, the pages look normal on wide desktop monitors but can be scrunched on mobile.
Suggestion for an alternative: add an extra leading space before every line in the log and (optionally) wrap it in a <div style="font-size: smaller"> element for the font size. The leading spaces will make the wiki parser treat it as preformatted text without the need for a <pre> tag and it behaves nicely with Visual Edit.

- Specific to the visual editor bug stripping
</pre>from articles.. After evaluating and testing where this is happening most frequently, it appears that if there is text immediately before</pre>, then the visual editor will not strip the preformatted text markups. This bug only impacts the closing markups, not the opening<pre{{log2}}>or similar. My recommendation is to use</pre>on the same line as the end of the preformatted text instead of on a line by itself. This prevents it from being stripped from the visual editor. This information has also been relayed to the GM wiki team. I realize that this does not impact your suggestion regarding the scenario with margin-right. Set up a food shop page for the Drakeshade Cafe on Ornath
I noticed that the Drakeshade Cafe on Ornath (7142115) does not have an eatery/food shop page set up for it on the wiki. If someone could create the page itself, I'm happy to fill it out. JESSEDAI (talk) 12:22, 19 November 2025 (CST)
- For any interested in adding any new Town Shops to the wiki, the Town Shops style guide has all of the information on how to do so. It also links to the Town Shop form at the bottom of the style guide, which helps make this process significantly easier even for those new to using the Gswiki.
