A makeshift canopy of hempen rope and sailcloth covers the oiled mahogany-framed shop, the draped lengths decorated with globes of vibrant glass casting a kaleidoscope of colors across the map-covered counter. At the center of the room sits a driftwood sculpture of a coconut crab, its upraised claws clutching garlands of dried flowers and palm fronds while its short legs sit buried in a barrel of black sand. You also see a canopy-draped ramp leading back to the dock.
