Veil iron is a powerful and extremely rare metal that has the unique property of draining the magical energy of things in close proximity. The natural enchantment of veil iron is +25, equal to that of golvern and krodera as the highest metal. Its strength is second only to golvern itself. Veil iron is black or charcoal grey in color with blue or white speckles or streaks.
Despite its rarity, it is believed that veil iron was one of the first metals to be found and utilized as a tool by the intelligent races, as the source of veil iron is said to be meteors falling from the sky, making the metal easy to acquire after impact.
