Verb:PONDER

PONDER is a roleplaying verb. It has special messaging for some races as well as special wedding messaging.

    PONDER SET [option]               - Shows or sets the PONDER verb options available.

STANDARD
  DEAD TARGET
    FIRST PERSON  - You ponder the cycle of life and death as you gaze at (targets) corpse.
    SECOND PERSON - Person is staring at you.  Being dead, you have no choice but to stare
                    lifelessly back.
    THIRD PERSON  - Person stares at (targets) lifeless body, apparently lost in thought.
  LIVE TARGET
    FIRST PERSON  - You ponder the meaning of (targets) existence.
    OTHERS        - Person looks thoughtfully at (you/target).
ERITHIAN          - You pause for a moment to study (target), your gaze dwelling upon
                    his/her features.
ILLISTIM          - Ruminating upon (target), you give consideration to his/her qualifications.
LANDING           - You place your hands on your hips and eye (target) with a skeptical look.

Self target:
STANDARD
  FIRST PERSON    - You ponder the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.
  OTHERS          - Person looks lost in thought.
ERITHIAN
  FIRST PERSON    - You close your eyes for a moment and slip into a brief contemplative
                    trance.  You reflect upon your circumstances and recent past, searching
                    for any lessons you might learn from them.
  OTHERS          - Person closes her eyes and a serene expression overtakes her.
ILLISTIM
  FIRST PERSON    - You pause to consider recent events, and your place in them.
  OTHERS          - Person looks suddenly very self-aware.
LANDING
  FIRST PERSON    - You eye the surroundings with a skeptical look.

Object targets:

  FIRST PERSON    - You pause for a moment to study (target), observing the most
                    prominent characteristics.
  OTHER           - Person pauses for a moment to study (target), her expression one
                    of thoughtful observation.

  FIRST PERSON    - You purse your mouth, pondering the (target).  Even without a mirror,
                    you know your face reflects your roiling thoughts.
  OTHERS          - Person purses her mouth, pondering the (target).  The expression on her
                    face speaks volumes.

  FIRST PERSON    - You give a skeptical look at (target) while placing your hands on your hips.
